This is the debut novel by K.A. Harbron and I am in complete awe!!! How can this gem possibly be her first book.
Her writing style reminds me very much of CM Owens or SM Shade. A lot of fun, mixed with passion and mystery. I was enthralled from start to finish.

This is the story of Andi. Someone is embezzling money from the company she runs with her father. Enter Robert. The sex on legs viking god, brought in to privately investigate. These two sizzle, even from their very first, unconventional meeting 😂. There’s hilarious scenes between Andi and her gal pals. The shenanigans of this lot had me in tears laughing.

This novel had me giggling, swooning in my seat and shouting “WHAT!!!! WHO WAS IT!!!!”

I honestly cannot wait for the next instalment, due this summer.

With her debut novel, author K.A. Harbron delivers a comical contemporary romance. From start to finish she keeps you on your toes and laughing. The main character Andi is relatable to for everyone at one point in time of there life or another. Because really, who hasn’t felt like they would NEVER find Mr. Right? From a low point in her life to the tragic problems in her family business, Andi stands strong.
While this is part one of a duet, I can’t wait to see what happens next. I can only hope K.A. Harbron doesn’t keep us waiting too long! Excellent first novel and a MUST read!

What a great start to series by a new author! She hit it out of the park! Character band-aids, sea gulls (don't ask not telling you have to read), party dance, besties, and an attraction that is off the charts oh and add a mystery that brings this couple together makes for a story that you just can't put down. When you read be ready to laugh a lot because yea that's part of it too. The characters you just have to love, no if ands or buts. Can't wait for the next book to find out what's going on and well just need more of this crew also!

Awesome book!

This is the first book I have read by this author. It was a great book. It was well written, good storyline and strong characters. I liked how the issues in the book happen in real life. And the author did a great job keeping me into the book. From the first chapter I knew I was going to like this book. Andrea was dumped by her boyfriend. Then she finds out someone is messing with her business. They hire Robert to find out who is doing it. That's when they meet. This book keeps you guessing it's action packed and I was entertained thru the whole book. Can they stop the person trying to destroy their company? Can both Robert and Andrea find happiness and love? Will her risky decisions ruin everything? I am not going to say. You will have to read the book then you will know. I recommend this book, it was a very good book!!!!!

It actually took a bit to get into. At the beginning it felt that that story was getting dragged out. Robert and Andrea were good together, they did have a lot of chemistry and it took a bit for it to come through. The story it self was one that I could not stop reading I just wanted to see what happened next.

This Author's debut novel! Wow what a start! I cannot wait to see her writing grow from here!
I absolutely loved this book.
Mr. Sexyface aka Robert/Rob and Andrea/Andi... It was funny, sexy, and I wanted to rip his clothes off for Andi! I was pulled in from the start and it was so very hard to put down! 😂😂 I NEED MORE! I'll sit impatiently waiting for the next installment!!

In need of proofing

The story was good but needed a little more substance for my taste. The author did a great job for their first book. The editing however left a lot to be desired. I was so distracted by the typos throughout the book ... Such a disservice to the author's efforts to tell a good story.

I'm giving this book just 3 stars because I found it very wordy and in need of more editing. It takes until almost the end to figure out what is the real story. Once I figured it out, I was anxious for the second book in the series to come out.
Andrea and Robert are the main characters and from the moment they meet in the Target parking lot, they feel a magnetism. Robert has a strict rule about not dating coworkers and at this point, he is employed by the business owned by Andrea and her father. They are investigating what appears to be an insider stealing company funds. The initial suspect is Andrea's ex boyfriend but he has disappeared. As their relationship heats up and the investigation continues, things take a sudden tragic turn. A cliff hanger at the end leaves one wanting more.

The Risky Series has quickly become one of my favorites. Andi is our super likeable, sassy heroine that you can't help but root for. Her chick clique is the kind every girl wishes they had, fun and loyal to a fault. Robert,the leading man, is hunky and brooding, a steamy perfect gentleman. Risky Decisions is an action packed page turner with a slow burning steamy romance on the side. Are Andi and Robert star crossed lovers, or meant to be? K.A. Brandon's crisp writing leaves a clear picture in your mind of each scene and flows effortlessly from one page to the next. The major cliff hanger will have you craving book 2!

Wow just wow! What a debut novel. I cant wait to read more from this author. I cannot stress how much I loved this book. I really wish I could give more then 5*. I wanted to rip Mr. Sexyface aka Robert/Rob clothes off for Andi. I was addicted from the very beginning of this book and could not put it down. I started this first thing this morning and ignored everyone and everything till I was done. This is a total must read!! I cannot not stress what a total must read this is.. I cannot wait for the next installment...

This book only gets 3 stars from me because it is agony to read. It is too wordy and filled with time frame errors and editing errors. I read the first half of this book and couldn’t figure out exactly what the story line was going to be. I even downloaded a second copy from Amazon to see if maybe I had just gotten a bad copy the first time.


Nope, the second copy is exactly the same. The whole first chapter is the main character’s rant about her rotten relationship issues and the most recent breakup. There is so much extraneous nonsense that I totally missed the clues to the storyline. I did catch on that the guy she meets at Target will probably be her next love interest.


Then, the second chapter is about the guy she met at Target. Seems there has been some money problems at the company she owns with her father and this guy has come to help sort it all out. Thus, Andrea/Andi meets Robert/Rob. For a 28-year-old co-owner of a thriving business in a small town, she is very immature and crazy. She and her “posse” spend most weekends drinking themselves blind. (I used quotes because air quoting is something Ms. Andrea does constantly.)


Once I found the storyline-embezzlement by an unknown source, then an attack on Ms. Andrea and Robert at a club I was floored. By now I was on the last chapter and was hit by a major cliffhanger. Yikes!!!!
