I'm stranded on an island with five men, they like to share, and they're all falling for me. A holiday on an exotic island. Bridesmaid at my best friend's wedding. Followed by a week-long survival course paid for by work. It was supposed to be the perfect trip. Until our plane crashed on a remote tropical island in the Pacific. Six of us, me and five men. They're hunky, sexy, and handsome, but having five men fight over me is the last thing in the world I would have asked for. That is, until they learn how to share! Take my word for it, that's something every girl deserves to experience at least once in her life. Now, the only question is, which one will I fall in love with? From USA Today Bestselling author, Chance Carter, Stranded is a full-length reverse harem novel where meaningful relationships are formed between all six characters. The result is a scorching story that will stay with you long after you finish the last page.
WOW !! This book was absolutely amazing. I loved every moment of this story about a very strong woman Joss and five guys Grant, Charles, Daniel, Ryan, and Willie. I was grabbed and pulled into this amazing journey by the sheer essence of the characters. Captivated by the twist and turns of their being in a plane crash and their need to survive. I was absolutely intrigued with the way Chance Carter entwined 6 people’s lives into a love story I will never forget. Showing that love has no bounds when it comes to love. I found myself riveted to every word and so absorbed in the book that I was surprised when it ended. I was left wanting more of these 6 peoples journey and the love that bound them together. If you haven’t gotten the book, I highly recommend you pick it up and start reading. You will not be disappointed in the writing of this story.
This book was amazing. Every character had their own issues of heartache and insecurities. Being dumped, disillusioned by gold diggers, overly stressed, losing sight of your moral compass and guilty depression can tear a person down to the depths of their soul. Joss is every mans wet dream. Thoughtful, tender, understanding, smart, witty and Sexy. One fateful flight and everything changes. This book delves into all the characters personalities. And there a is catch. You’ll fall in love with the guys just like Joss. Their all unique in their own way. I loved this book and could not stop turning each page till the end. I need more. Chance Carter, you blow my mind! Highly recommended!
Great characters, stressful circumstances courage under fire. Joss and five male passengers go down in a storm. While the Captain is recovering from head trauma Joss steps up to keeps everyone alive and organized. Best of all Joss finds what’s been missing in her life. Each of the guys bonds with Joss and in doing so they complete each other. There is a great group dynamic and no jealousy. Beautifully written with compelling characters. It’s a hot story without in any way portraying our heroine as a slut. Chance Carter you’ve outdone yourself. 💎
Wow, another awesome book, Chance Carter! You've done it again! I love books that have to do with exotic places and survival. When it was done lol I was trying to go to the next page and sadly there wasn't anymore. It's left me hoping he will create a series with this book! It's definitely worth the read and be ready to have some tissues near you especially towards the end. This story is different from a lot of his stories because it has to do with one lady and her unconditional love relationship with five men. If you want to learn more...read the book! Trust me, you won't regret it! :)
To be honest I’m not really into threesome or more than three. So I wasn’t sure how I would feel reading “Stranded” Much less if I would be able to stay to the end. To my surprise Chance Carter to a great job on “Stranded”. It was very hot and satisfying , only Chance Carter could have pulled this off. A 5 💎 💎💎💎💎 read for me 💙💙
What's the chance of this happening to me? Yeah you got it I'm stranded on a beautiful island with five men, yeah you heard me FIVE me, oh yeah I need to mention that they like to share. Also all five of them are all falling for me.
My name is Joss pleased to meet you... Let me give you the low down on what's happened to me to be stranded on the beautiful island!
1. It's a dream of a lifetime to go on a holiday to an exotic island. 2. Being a bridesmaid for my best friend on her wedding day. 3. After the wedding it's then followed by a week-long survival course. Thankfully it's totally paid for by my work. 4. It was supposed to be the perfect trip. The perfect time to re-group and re-energise my mind, body and soul. 5. Well that was until our plane suddenly crashed on a remote but beautiful tropical island slap bang in the middle of the Pacific. 6. Yes you heard me. There was six of us, me and five men. Every girls dream right? Every girl wants to experience something like this in her life? Or is it just me? Whatever each to their own.
Let me tell you about these men, Their names are: Grant Charles Daniel Ryan Willie
Such hunky, sexy, and handsome men. Having ALL five men fight over me? Well it is the last thing in the world I would have expected or even asked for. I also found out that these five really love sharing. Well lets put it this way they all want to share me!
I now only have on simple question; which one of these hunky men will I fall in love with?
I love how strong willed Joss is and is confident in all her choices, however if I was in her situation I don't know who I would choose as they are all damn pretty fine. This book got me hooked straight from the start. I couldn't put it down.
Chance Carter gets another 5*s from me, keep up the great work
💎When Joss boards a small charter plane with 5 strangers, who all happen to be men, she never expected it would be a life changing event. I will admit that I was a little nervous about this storyline. The reverse harem is popular right now, and to be honest I think over done. However, I like the way that Chance Carter developed the relationship between Joss and the 5 men. Yes, they had a relationship, not just a sexual one. The sexual chemistry is hot🔥between them for sure, but they have a connection far beyond just sex. Joss developed a relationship with each one separately of the others. I was so happy that Joss connected with each man differently. They completed something in one another. Well done Chance! This is the best reverse harem I have read.
Oh my I think that this is by far my favorite book from you. It gave us a sense of longing that all of us dream about. In this story we have 1 lady and 5 guys who need to disconnect with the real world to find out what they are missing in life. You would never have thought that a plane crash would bring about so much to really change your life forever. I hope that you write more books like this one. I definitely give it 5+ stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader's Copy.
Joss, Charlie, Ryan, Willie, Daniel, and the pilot Grant set off on a plane ride to Fiji. Bad weather causes them to crash into the ocean where they float until the find land! As time goes by Joss and the men find themselves becoming closer and eventually become there own little family on a deserted island. A great read! This has become my new favorite book by Chance Carter! 💕💋
There was a plane crash that standard 6 people, Joss and 5 men She took charge to make sure everyone was ok. She knew what to do to take care of the men. She has great chemistry with all of them accept Grant, but he finally came around. Loved how she took care of Ryan when he got sick.and how she fell in love with him., But she had fallen in love with all of them, when they got rescued everyone went their separate ways Finally they all came back together back on the island they could not live without each other. Another great book loved it well Done Chance Carter.
What happens when Joss gets Stranded on a remote island with not 1 not 2 but 5 gorgeous men. All I have ro say is what would you do with 5 hot guys at your disposal??
This is a truly fantastic book! I love the special relationship the men each had with Joss. It is amazing how one can find love out of the most unlikely situation. Chance Carter did a great job making it work!
Arc review For honest review. This is a story of joss a certified survivals instructor on her way to a wedding on a plane with Charles a business man, ryan a actor, Daniel a lawyer, Willie a NBA star all on a plan that crashed on a island. Awesome adventure
Joss is a survival specialist, a strong and admirable woman, on her way to her friend’s wedding. The plane she is on, along with 5 men, crashes on an island during a bad storm. Trying to survive brings out the unique qualities of each member, draws them together into family. The reader gets the in-depth story of each of their lives and develops a deeper understanding of them. Just as Joss sees different things she individually values in each of them -- but it’s so difficult to narrow things down to one. Through their love and respect for Joss, can they all learn to share what they bring to each other?
I’ve said it before, but this author is magic with words! His books provide us with a beautiful story line, strong characters, and then he builds up the world he needs around it and draws the reader inside. It’s amazing and happens every time! You won’t regret reading any of his books because every one of them are all so well written. This one is no exception.
Stranded by Chance Carter is clever, detailed, includes multiple perspectives, has emotionally developed characters, an amazing storyline and Oh. My. God. HOT! Joss is an amazing, interesting and inspiring character. Dealt some serious blows in her life, she powers on, finds her passion and lives her life. All of the male characters are engaging, sometimes mysterious, super sexy, charming and endearing all in their own individual ways. Chance Carter did a great job of creating these alpha men in varying degrees but kept them relatable to Joss. An amazingly fun read with danger, suspense, heart felt emotions, sweet & tender moments and of course steamy hot sexy times all leading to a HEA that most women would be envious of! Another well written book by Chance Carter!!!
Well Done, Mr. Carter! Wow, I don’t even know if I have the words. Stranded goes to the top of my favorite C.C. books list. I am a reverse harem virgin, so to speak, but I was pleasantly surprised it was not a nonstop orgy fest as I had anticipated, and although it definitely has its sizzling, panty-melting sex scenes, it does not center on the act itself as a past time. This is a very well thought out, very well-written book that had me hot, laughing and crying, and that, metaphorically speaking, had a bird’s eye view of my nose while it was stuck in it until “The End” leaving me wishing for more. I’ll just have to reread it while I wait for the next Chance Carter offering!
5 people from all different walks 9f life was going to one destination. It was starting to storm but the pilot thought he could outrun the storm. The ride started out fine and then got really bumpy. Next thing Joss knows is she is waking up and seeing that her mates are all in the plane with her she has medical background she goes and checks everyone out all the passengers are fine. When they get to the pilot that is a different story. She does everything she can to save him they all find an island not ti far from the plane wreckage. They all take turns moving over all there things from the plane to the deserted island. Each of them have a roll to keep them alive for days they dont see anything in site. While all of them was on this island they all start to having feelings for Joss. The only female. The island becomes there home until there rescued. Once there rescued will life fo back to normal? This was kind of a hard book for me to get into because 5his ia not my thing but Chance Carter did an amazing job with this book. My heart went out for each and every character in this book. Great job Chance

ARC Received for a Voluntary and Honest Review. Thank you Mr Carter! 💎 I also got the book📑 with KU.
To be honest the dialog is what really drags this down. I can't imagine anyone speaking the way these characters do. It seems the author was trying really hard to make them believable and ended up missing the mark. I also don't see where some of the reactions would be possible either. Shirt story with several bonuses but those stories are nothing special either.
Dang it, Chance Carter! What have you done to me??
I am just NOT the type of reader that picks up a book with one girl and five (count ‘em, five!) hunky guys on the cover. I am totally not into the current trend of the reverse harem, and really don’t give a hoot about ménage stories. They just aren’t my gig. But I do love Chance Carter, and I trust him as an author. So I decided to give Stranded a try, even though I was going WAY outside of my comfort zone. I’ve gotta’ say, I am so glad I didn’t miss this one because of my built-in perceptions. This is one glorious read.
It would be a safe bet to make that many women have fantasized about being stranded on a deserted tropical island with a handful of testosterone-filled studs. I’m sure the romance section is filled with cheap versions of this trope. But that’s not what the author has done with this novel. This is a beautiful story with a richly created cast of characters that will grip you from the beginning with their unique personalities and charisma. Joss is wonderful; with her strength (physical as well as emotional and mental), intelligence, survival knowledge, nurturing instincts, and beautiful heart, she is a natural leader on the island. Each of the men have their own strengths and qualities that make them attractive to Joss in their own ways. In a sense, they’re all “keepers.” Or as a friend would say, “I wouldn’t toss any of ‘em out of bed!” As they learn to survive on the island together, they each grow to love Joss. It’s a good thing they’re not all 14 year-olds, or this might turn into something that more resembled Lord of the Flies than the beautiful love story Chance Carter created…
So now I started thinking this is where the mindless crazy monkey-sex ménage scenes will overtake the book, and I’ll basically be reading a porn flick with no real plot. Just four guys doing Joss against a tree in the jungle like howling monkeys, then three doing it on the beach like screaming apes… oh, you get the idea. But I had forgotten for a second who the author was. Oh, there’s plenty of great, hot, tropical sex scenes going on here, but if you’re expecting lots of 5 on 1, or whatever ménage scenes you’re dreaming of, you’re going to be disappointed. I’m not trying to bring in spoilers here, but I also don’t want you to get a book you’ll be disappointed in. This book has so much more to offer than just how many men this woman can sleep with at the same time. It’s WAAAAAAY deeper than that.
Even though this story is (let’s face it), pure fantasy, the characters, the storyline, the heart, (the heat! ;), and the HEA are grippingly wonderful. I loved the take-aways that each of the characters seemed to have after having been secluded for so long on the island. I loved how each person dug down into the depths of their souls in this story and discovered things about themselves that they may not have wanted to face or may not have been capable of facing before their disastrous plane trip. I loved the heart each and every main character showed for each other. Truly, this is a rare and remarkable find.
So what can the reader expect in this fabulous novel? I would rate this as a book you could share with your best friend. The romance is true to form for this author (surface-of-the-sun hot!), and there’s plenty of it. Although the book is not about multiple-partner ménage sex, there is one section of MFM scenes. There is also a bit of adult language, mostly in the sex scenes. If any of this is an issue, then be aware. Otherwise, don’t miss your chance for a truly incredible read.
Imagine being stranded in an island with five gorgeous men. This story begun when the plane they boarded crushed at the sea near Fiji with six people on board including the captain of the plane, five men and one lady. They survived with the crush but the captain was wounded , they were all terrified , although Joss; the only woman on board was amazingly calm maybe because of her profession ( survival ) . Anyway , the story continues when they saw a beach or an island while floating , they paddled until they reached the shore and here the adventure started. Joss , volunteered herself as the leader and the rest of the group followed her command . This five gorgeous men namely;Charles, Willie , Daniel , Ryan and Captain Grant. As soon as they reach the island , they gathered woods, materials they could use to build a small hut or dwelling, Joss and Ryan roamed the island to find plants where they could cook ,Joss did the thinking , a brilliant lady and beautiful. The five men felt in love with her and they understand each other . Joss, on the other-hand felt the same way to all of them . She love them equally. She made love to all of them except Captain Grant who was still hesitant. To make the story short , they were rescued and Joss went back home as well As the others but Joss felt lonely , she misses the life they had on the island . They were together for 59 days . Charles , the billionaire propositioned her to come to Fiji and when she arrived Charles was there and brought to the yacht where he named her Jocelyn. She was surprised because of the gesture. Charles bought the yacht for her . They sailed to the island where they were stranded and another surprise which made her cry , tears of happiness upon seeing Ryan, Daniel and Willie .Captain Grant came too even if he was late .At last all of them were reunited , Joss made love to Captain Grant .They all agreed to stay on the island and whatever decision Joss will make in the future is up to her . A harem for Joss . I love the book , i couldn’t fathom though how will it be in real life for her or for others , Love conquers everything .
I not going to lie. I was hesitant to read this latest Chance Carter book. I have read a few too many poorly written /executed reverse harem novels lately, so I was kind of over that particular trope. Since I'm a huge Chance Carter fan and haven't been disappointed by any of his work yet, I caved and read it. Holy hell, am I glad I did. I love this book! Each of the first chapters are dedicated to one character. Kind of a mini back story that also helps build the foundation for their character development, as well as explain how they got to this particular juncture in their life. Though I thought Grant was kind of an a$$ to begin with, I feel in love with each of the characters, him included. The writing was so well done that I was finding myself far too emotional in a couple of parts...borderline ugly crying. I loved this original take on the reverse harem genre. It unfolded smoothly with some surprise twists that had me wanting to read it in one sitting. This story has so many things going for it...sexy AF characters; well developed, distinctly different personalities; steamy, panty melting scenes; original story line and it's full of all kinds of feels. At one point or another throughout this story I was laughing, crying, cringing, getting frustrated with characters, feeling heartwarming-chest tightening warm fuzzies, and getting all hot and bothered. If you are even remotely interested in this genre (which I'm guessing you are, since you're checking out reviews), or are a Chance Carter fan, do yourself a favor and get this book. Get comfy, grab tissues and dry panties and enjoy. Stranded ends at about 16%. It is a full length standalone novel, followed by a few other full length Chance Carter novels. This makes it a good opportunity to check out several of his best works. Enjoy!
Stranded is the first book I have read by Chance Carter, and it will certainly to be my last. This was a steamy read about a woman, Joss, who is unsatisfied with her life. She is on her way, to Fiji, to a friend's wedding when the plane she is on crashes on a deserted island. What makes this book so much fun is the five men she is on the plane with. All six of the characters are well developed by the author, and you will fall a little for each man, and maybe be a bit jealous of Joss 😉. What I liked about this book was how the author slowly develops each of the relationships that Joss has with the men. This is a fun erotic read with ups, downs and some very tense situations that these six people have to navigate. Happy reading!
Joss is on her way to Fiji, to be maid-of-honor at her best friend's wedding. En route, she and the other passengers on the plane (Charles, Ryan, Willie, Daniel, and Grant) run into a storm and are, at first, trapped in a plane that crashes into the ocean and then are titularly Stranded on a desert island. Everyone looks to Joss for guidance because she has the most outdoors experience and she and her fellow passengers must work together to find/build shelter, collect potable water, find/hunt for food, and attempt getting rescued, all while Joss tries to nurse the surly pilot, Grant, back to health after he was injured during the crash.
Joss has not had much experience in the relationships department but when she's shipwrecked on an island with five men, she can't help but let her imagination run wild. She finds each of them attractive and unattached. Can they fight their urges long enough to be rescued? Or do they even want to?
I very much enjoyed this book but I can't help but feel Joss should just pick one guy, and you know, maybe leave some for the rest of us. I feel slightly resentful that she gets five guys but I can't even personally, here in the real world, find one. It's bad enough when the girl gets her guy in a regular (one-on-one partnership/relationship) book but for Joss to have five seems way less than fair. Still, this was a fun, sexy read and I will probably re-read it fairly often so for those reasons, I definitely recommend it.
I was really happy to get back into reading Chance Carter's stories. It's been a while and I'll admit I've missed his storytelling ways.
This is a story about a woman named Joss that was going on a survival trip after being the maid of honor at her best friend wedding. Fate had different plans for her and the five other big-shot guys that ended up on an island, stranded together.
Being practical I got to see the why behind the decisions Joss made while on the island and pertaining each guy. I also loved that each character felt realistic to me, so much so that I felt for them when they talked about their own experiences and what was life back in the real world.
The island gave everyone a chance to think about what they really wanted in life and I love the end of the book.
Chance Carter is a talented man that can make sexy stories with real characters that relate to the readers in some way or fashion. He can also write sexy scenes without them being crude or over the top.
I would definitively recommend this book to anyone that wants to escape from reality to a paradise island with sexy men all around.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance complimentary copy of this book. The opinions expressed are my own and I have not been compensated for this review.
Another book has just been released by the awesome and amazing Chance Carter. If you haven’t read any of his books yet you are really missing out. His books have awesome storylines that keep you interested the whole way through. His books have some of the hottest love scenes and descriptions that will leave all hot and bothered. I mean these books have it all. His newest book just came out and it is a must read. It’s called Stranded and it is so good.
Stranded is a book about a woman and five guys get stranded on a remote island for months. They must use their skills to survive and help each other on the island. But in the off time there is a woman Ann’s five hot guys and they are all alone and definitely have needs and the more they get to know each other the more attracted to each other they get.
There is obstacles they must get through and this book will have all your emotions run crazy in a good way. The book was awesome and I couldn’t put it down. I definitely recommend it. So grab your copy today and you will be happy you did! https://www.amazon.com/Stranded-Chanc...
My first reverse harem read It was sensational! The characters are great and the storyline was intriguing. Small plane crash lands in the Fiji Islands, 5 men from different countries and backgrounds and one woman. They must try to survive and work with each other.
Definitely a page turner! I love the dynamic of the group, they just work.
What happens when one stronger than she appears and is given credit for woman and 5 very different men are stranded on a deserted island? In Chance Carter's new book, we're all given a window into their lives to find out.
Joss - our heroine - has had a rough past, not terrible, just rough. She and her mother have never seen eye to eye but Joss has accepted that, I think, and gone on to do what makes her happy. Who knew that that would help her in the worst situation she's ever found herself?? So often, the books we read put the men in charge, leading us to "believe" we're supposed to follow them.
Grant, Charles, Daniel, Ryan, and Willie - the 5 heroes of our story - are all very different men - ages, professions, personalities but each one is special and Joss just can't help herself. I admit I'd have a heck of a time choosing one of them, too.
But they all pull together and form a new way of life and a family of sorts. But what happens when they're rescued, they go back to their lives, and are pulled away from each other, yet nothing feels right any more?
I'll admit to some hesitation a romance by a male writer, but hey--what the heck, for a buck it was worth a try. Turns out, there are 7 books included (I assume they are full length, but frankly, I only read the original story and didn't want to start others in case they were only partial stories/teasers). Only a few chapters into the story, I also realized the cover doesn't fully credit the diversity of the characters--which is a darn shame (one character is an African American basketball player, and another is a buttoned-up Brit, and a greying, 45 year old executive-- much more interesting than the pretty-boys on the cover). I actually liked the characters and the storyline, although there were some parts that stretched the imagination, it was all in good fun.
