Good Practical How-to for Beginning Bullet Journalers

The title says it all. It's very practical, unintimidating and easy to implement. I would recommend it to any beginner.

My only criticism is that there are quite a few errors in spelling and sometimes in grammar. It needed better editing, but this didn't interfere with the reader's understanding whatsoever.

Creative ideas with Concrete Steps

The author presents useful ideas to create your journal to include sections personalized to your life and uses pictures to demonstrate how to accomplish this in a creative expressive fashion. The author presumes the reader know the very basics of bullet journaling so familiarize yourself with the very basic workings of bullet journaling so this book and its ideas can be used to bring the project to the next level .... making it fun expression of the creator. Highly functional ideas stated with brevity yet easy to understand in her explanation and use of pictures.

Good information!

I'm starting to learn more about bullet journaling and how it could benefit my life. This books gives some super easy information and provides a few basic visual ideas that are perfect for a beginner. Enough info for a novice to get a grip on the process but not so much to overwhelm a person starting out. It also helps that you start the process slowly using inexpensive tools and a minimal time investment.

Great overview

If you’re completely new to bullet journaling and in need of a basic yet thorough overview, this book is a very good starting point. The explanations are clear. There are enough visual references to get you started without being overwhelming as some introductory bujo guides can be. Don’t hesitate to pick up a copy of this book and let it be your guide to setting up your first bullet journal.

Easy to read

A basic but useful introduction to bujo. If you're looking for a concise explanation without having to trawl through Ryder Carroll's book, this is perfect. It's very practical and down to earth. The tips are useful. I particularly liked the drawing tips.

Best lil' beginner bullet journal book that I've read so far!

Because of the small size, I had my doubts about this one, but I was very impressed, as it was right to the point and simple enough that I didnt feel lost in either the info or the lingo. Very happy reader!

A few nice ideas

But otherwise, not much that you wouldn’t learn from visiting the Bullet Journal website. It is very short, so I don’t feel like it was a waste of time.

More a pamphlet

More a pamphlet rather than a book and lacks a coherent structure. Examples are lacking making for a confusing read.

There's some good info in here but it's organized poorly and structured like a collection of rudimentary blog posts.

Fine, but very short and nothing groundbreaking

This is fine but basically just a very light summary of bullet journaling, you’re better off reading the book by Ryder Carroll.
