I’m speechless at the moment and that’s rare lol
Nikki is a young, beautiful woman who’s world has just turned upside down. Her husband was leaving her for the woman he had been cheating on her with. She was home drinking her coffee one morning when the movers had shown up along with her sexy new neighbor.
Kane was starting over after his breakup. He had decided a fresh start would be best for him so he bought a house sight unseen at the end of a quiet neighborhood in the ritzy part of Hollywood. All is going well until he laid eyes on his sexy neighbor. He only knew the owners of her house were going through a divorce but when he sees her he knows he can’t resist her.
Can Kane get Nikki to trust him so he can breakdown the walls she put up to protect herself?? Can Nikki get Kane to allow her into his world, his life and not just his bed?? Read to find out!!
This was the first story by Vanessa Bryce that I’ve read and she did not disappoint. This is a short, steamy story about two people who are healing from broken hearts while seeing if they can trust one another. They both had bad breakups (just like many of us have had) and were cheated on. We try not to make the same mistakes in our future relationships and some are lucky enough to find that one person where they don’t have to worry about anything. They can just be. I would loved to have had more of each character as individuals and as a couple. To see how the grew more with each other.
Hopefully this won’t be the last we see if Nikki and Kane!!

I am voluntarily reviewing this book.Trying to recover from her short lived marriage to a celebrity Hollywood producer Nikki looks out from a window of the house she loves, but knows she'll lose in the divorce, to see a gorgeous man moving in next door. His name is Kane & he is a multi millionaire with no attachments. She literally bumps into him whilst blinded with tears after an upsetting meeting with her soon to be ex. He finds he's immediately attracted & he automatically thinks of easing her pain through the divorce & easing some of his sexual tension in the process & then moving on with his life. Destiny had other plans! Won’t ruin the story but it was a lovely read with some great sex.

Great Premise, Poor Execution
I had high hopes for this book. The premise was what pulled me in and when I’m actually reading it, I wasn’t impressed. In fact, I was disappointed. The characters were too bland to me. Too unremarkable. Nothing about them that is worth remembering. I also felt the author rushed their relationship. Even the antagonists were two dimensional people. The sex was dry and their interactions were quite forced. I felt that Nikki and Kane had no real connection.
I hate to feel that I’m bashing this book, but I am so disappointed right now. I wouldn’t read this book again.

Kane has been betrayed in the past and is not looking for love. Nikki is in the middle of a divorce and feels burned. These two meet by chance and are not sure they want to get involved but the connection is strong will they let down their guard and try for the real thing or wil they let the past betrayals win. This was a very good read.

This is a very emotional story that will have you in tears. Jane and Daniel's beloved daughter Joy is stricken with cancer. This is their story of the depths they go to by moving to Australia in seek of treatments. The final outcome is that she doesn't win her battle and this story chronicles all their struggles. Grab a box of Kleenex because you'll need them. I read a reader copy adn voluntarily chose to write a review.

A well written quick short emotional read with betrayal, lies, love, loss, and of course steamy hot heat with flawed characters. New neighbors with hot chemisty decide to release sexual frustrations due to their cheating exs. Can Kane find being betrayed give Nikki a chance? Can she trust him enough to try? A good read when you need something quick and enjoyable.

Nikki is a beautiful woman who is going through a divorce she doesn't want. Kane is a handsome man who just came out a relationship. Both have been betrayed and have sworn off the opposite sex - well maybe that's because they haven't met each other yet. Just wait till the sparks fly when Kane moves in next door to Nikki. This is a nice fast read.

Nikki and Zane are healing after broken relationships and have both sworn off future entanglements. When Zane moves in next door they both find each other incredibly attractive and their resolutions go out the window. I enjoyed reading the twists and turns and how their relationship evolves.

Vanessa Bryce does a great job on this one, just enough baby momma drama and work related stress to keep you intrigued and waiting to see what will happen next. I loved the heartache and love found, great flow with the plot. Overall a great summer read!

This is a quick and easy read that packs quite a punch. The storyline is very good, steamy, emotional and has flawed characters that must heal. There are a few surprises such as a change of heart in the readers' feelings for the jerk. I enjoyed this engaging story.

Nikki, a sound technician, finds herself going over her life to see what she did wrong. Enter Kane, a real estate mogul and Nikki's new next door neighbor. As the story progresses the reader gets an inside view of messy relationships and broken hearts crying out to be mended. This was a good look at taking a chance on love after being burned.

If you're in the mood to laugh, cry and curse this is the book for you. Great story line not the cookie cutter one. Lots of surprises and you end up cheering for the A#$hole. Will buy for collection when released.

I love the drama and craziness of the love story. It was fast and deep and real. I loved to see both Kane and Nikki move forward with life together. They both had horrible ex’s and deserved happiness. It was funny and deep all at the same time.
