"Hey. Cyborg Man. Is this a good day for rescuing princesses?"
So I bloody adored this, it was such a mish-mash of carnal, sci-fi delight all with a huge dash of slapstick humour and a big glug of ridiculousness to accompany the surprisingly emotive trio. I am such a mega nerd for weird-ass shenanigans and this book had that going on in spades. To quote the cyber-monks themselves we get treated to a big fat dollop of down and dirty Orc/Human/Cyborg porn and is it wrong that whilst also curling my toes with total delight my heart was also doing a pitter patter whenever that big sexy and did I mention big; yep I did; Orc/Shag, up and purred for his potential mate. I'm such a sucker for throaty deep purrs of the feline variety. Cross that with a crabby but amped up Cyborg and I'm in seventh heaven; like a kid in a sweetshop. This was a raunchy romp so worthy of its slapstick label and I mean that as a total compliment.
The protagonist's here are one; Ember, Human of unknown origin, PRINCESS of CESS Industries.
A Principle Data extractor extraordinaire, with an invisible friend and a self-assigned quest to discover her past Ancestry.
Two; Hoss, mixed breed of Orc/Shag parentage employed by CESS as Embers guard and her protector. He’s a huge sexy beast with a massive penchant for his luscious charge and a very real desire to make her his mate, no matter how much their particular union would be frowned upon.
Finally, Baz; a grumpy disgruntled Cyborg who along with his crew is trawling the dead-space in his junk bucket of a ship; just looking to rescue a Princess for the Cyber-monks in return for an upgrade of the intimate variety.
Thats the main gist here and when these three misfits destinies collide its a non-stop race of classic one-liners, ridiculous plotlines and some seriously filthy hook-ups that as well as being pure smut were also so much fun to just kick back and revel in. It's almost like a carry on film of the sci-fi variety and I inhaled the cockamamie Narrative like it was oxygen. The more farcical and absurd events were the more I devoured it.
Everything wrong about this is what made it so right.I adored Hoss he’s such a delicious Orc/Shag, I appreciated his furry ass like a whole bloody lot. He for me was hands down my favourite thing in this Zany pantomime; with Maybe Baz's Monster mechanical appendage coming in a very close second. What can I say; Baz's cyborg enhancements well let's just say Anne summers eat your heart out. Hoss was the one in charge of this whole three-way and for me, that worked you know with me being like his own personal fan club and all, I was all for the Hoss.
This isn't going to be for everyone, but if you like something a bit out of the box and way outside the traditional and mainstream then this one maybe for you. On a side-note, Hoss is way up on the attractive scale despite his monobrow; and not at all like the minging ORCS from Tolkien; just saying; being The official Spokeswoman for the Hoss fan-club and all; just wanted to put that out there. Don't Diss the Hoss he's a total Orc babe. Oh and before I forget; HUGE APPENDAGE ALERT!!!. There's some impressive apparatus locked and loaded and ready to roll within these pages; you have been pre-warned. Anything Cari comes up with,turns out só good! I don’t know how she does it....if only i could take a peek inside that head of hers!
She sent me Steel as an ARC and i am só happy to be on that list,because this is yet another beauty i am going to cherish.
I loved Ember and how Hoss and Baz made her see life from a different angle,as well as how she changed their lives. And i adore Ig,i wish i had a little friend like that,so adorable!

OMFG, Cari hits it out of the park again. This is funny, sexy, hot, sorta dark, adventure-filled, hot, and wonderful. And did I mention hot and sexy? Yeah. It's definitely that.
What's better than one giant wang? Two giants wangs. Especially if one is a trick wang that can do all sorts of neat things. You don't have to be a size queen to appreciate the joy that anyone might get out of these wangs, but it doesn't hurt. Just ask Ember.
Baz is a cyborg with an unsatisfactory attachment. The cybermonks who put him back together after CESS employees ripped him apart told him that as soon as he rescued a princess he could get that tiny thing replaced, so he can get the tool that he has always wanted.

I loved reading each and every single word of this book, and I can't wait to read more of this particular series. I want to see how Cari manages to top herself from this one.

This book is such a ridiculous guilty pleasure. It really cheered me up. I guess this is a monster big cock romance. Not sure I have that genre.
So we have Ember, a data specialist spy kind of girl who is stranded on a mission with her big, grizzly orc bodyguard. They’re going to die. The enemy is closing in. What can you do? Indulge your one off, forbidden orc giant cock fantasy obvs.
Luckily they get rescued by a big, bitter cyborg called Baz who will exchange Ember for a new giant cyborg cock because that’s what he needs to complete him.
They all hoy off to the cybermonks planet where Baz gets a giant robot cock that comes with lots of ‘settings’ and they all get slipped an aphrodisiac drug to help their giant cock romance along.
It’s ridiculous. It really is. The thing splits in two and has rivets for pete’s sake. I mean really. You’re gonna throw the book down and read something proper aren’t you? You’re not going to hang around to find out what ‘demon cock’ mode is are you?

When I read Cari Silverwood’s books I often wonder how in the world did she come up with her characters for these fantasy suspense stories of hers. I am not sure I will ever know these things but, what I do know is Cari Silverwood can write! Her books are always entertaining, they can be a little dark or all the way to very dark & disturbing. They are always thought provoking and she likes to push boundaries as much and as often as she can. I guess that is what I love about her books.
Steel is the second book in the Dark Monster Fantasy. Each of these books can be read as a complete Standalone.
If you like dark suspenseful and Hot as Sin books then you need to read this book.
Steel is the story of Baz Rutland a cyborg with a lost soul. Ember is “A Principle Data extraction expert employed by CESS Industries - a princess in lay terms.” And Hoss is Half Orc, half Shag, and a hairy beast, he shaves to blend into the mass of humanity populating the galaxies.
So as far as dark books go this one is on the lighter side of dark. I love Cari Silverwood’s warning. It is oh so true and almost funny. Here it is.

Who really are the monsters? Ember, the princess who realizes she's falling for two men that society will never accept? Baz or Hoss? The mysterious little dragon or the mysterious monks? This fast paced fantasy read will have you wondering many possibilities.
As mentioned in the blurb/warning this is not one of Cari's dark reads. Carnal and maybe a little twisted---yes! If secluded monks are giving half human/half cyborg men gigantic dicks with morphing powers-- who knows what else may happen!
Somehow Cari can throw out an idea and it morphs, changes and becomes an amazing read! Steel is the perfect example! Sexy, sarcastic, witty and out of this world. Fans of her works will love the little throwbacks and tidbits to previous stories. Tentacles anyone?

A perfectly fun, crazy, entertaining and super steamy read, with a touch of dubious-consent
A cyborg with a massive, multi-faceted appendage, a literally horny half orc-half shag in rut and a princess torn between being a good girl and following her heart. OK, perhaps not her heart, it was much more likely her libido she was listening to. Well when you see that as a cast of characters in a Cari Silverwood book only a fool would not be jumping up and down begging for it, *double entendre intended*.
Oh my, this didn't disappoint. We had both the complicated 'romance' between Hoss, Baz and Ember, with all it's dubious consent, pheromones and sneaky programming. We also had political cyber manoeuvrings and underhand manipulations based on prophesies. This isn't your usual 'throw away' shagged-by-the-alien romance. There are hidden depths and convoluted plot twists that take what could otherwise be an alien porn read, and make it into something so much more.
Part of me would love to spend a little time inside the author's head, it must be a real Alice-in-Wonderland style world in there, full of curious happenings and strange creatures. The rest of me knows it would be a very dangerous and better to avoid 'adventure' - you'd never emerge the same from it. I just love how her characters are somewhat whimsical yet are also incredibly complex. Her world building is second to none and I feel as though I can reach into the book and touch what she describes. OMG I so do NOT mean a certain part of Hoss or Baz's anatomy either - get your mind out of the gutter.
Have I mentioned yet just how much FUN this book is? Every part of the story is underpinned with wit and humour. The musings of each character not only allow us to understand them but also made me snigger like an adolescent. Particularly at the 'dirty' parts of the book. Talking of which, in many ways this was almost 'tame' compared to the authors usual work. Though whether a cyborg member that can change colour, grow spikes and split into two separate cocks can be considered tame is up for debate.
There were some really sweet little touches in this book too. Ig was totally adorable and when Hoss purred for Ember, oh my a part of me melted. I didn't want to finish this book quite simply because I could never have too much of this amazing trio. Its like a kinky version of The Hitchhikers Guide, so very clever in its complexity that masquerades as artlessness. I so need more of this series.

As always where do I begin? Cari Silverwood is one of the best if not the best Sci-Fi writers I have ever read. With there being a plus the sex and erotic adventrues. This book Steel goes way above what she normally writes. The way she has developed the charactors and how on earth she comes up with this stuff. Love the story line and espcially the way she writes the charactors. How she comes up with this stuff I do not know.
Writing about Baz Rutland a Cyborg who has a lost soul. Then comes along Ember of all things a Princess. Last but not least Hoss is Half Orc, half Shag. A must read to see where these three end up and the lust and promises made. Don't let this pass you by. If you love Sci-Fi and want to see what a prize posession of a Cyborg is and what happens to the Princess read this book. I don't know how Cari does it but every book I read is better than the next.

If anyone knows what happened to her deceased parents... they are the ones who will have the knowledge.

This book can be read as a stand-alone but book one is fantastic.
The book is a wonderful mix of tongue in cheek humour, action, monster ménage makeout sessions and a wonderful story about accepting and being true to yourself.
Ember was so concerned about how her love life and desires would impact on her job, she found herself not living, no amount of money from her job was making her happy and she didn’t realise that until she allowed herself to recognise what she was feeling for Hoss.... With the aid of Hoss and Baz she truely opened herself up to the idea that she was worthy of more than the life she was living and allowed to have love ( in whatever shape it took ) in her life.
I loved that Baz was so conflicted with his feelings for Ember, his confusion and conflict regarding his emotions for her brilliantly echoed Embers feelings towards Hoss. I loved that out the three of them Hoss was the only one who knew from day one what he wanted. Their triad was fantastic and I loved the interactions between them.. especially between Hoss and Baz, they knew Ember’s indecision and knew her wants but had to wait for her to recognise them.
If human/orc/shag/cyborg porn is not your thing... then consider yourself warned... personally I’m with the cybermonks...where do I subscribe? 😂😂😂😂

CS never lets physics of sex get in the way of the highly improbable. This story has all the monster sex you could ask for, there is little that is truly evil.
This is the best of the series, partly because it's MFM so there are more combinations, but also because it had a little more character development.

To me, this story is a captivating, thought provoking, tantalizingly kinky journey into a genre I have only begun to explore thanks to Cari Silverwood.
We have two heroes and one heroine in this crazy, mixed-up compilation of satire, seriousness, fun and sex. First we meet Baz, an angry half cyborg, half human, who is required to rescue a princess in order to complete his bodily reconstruction. Then we are introduced to Ember, a human female, employed as an expert in CESS data extraction. (She qualifies as the princess he needs.) Next, we learn a bit about Hoss, a half Orc, half Shag, assigned as Ember’s bodyguard.
There is action, lots and lots of action, such as battles, sex, rescues, sex, and a journey with lots of sex.
Many reviewers are talking about how funny, sexy, sarcastic, and witty this story is, and they are right. I certainly enjoyed all of that, but for some reason, I also found something a lot deeper hidden inside these characters.
When you cut through or eliminate all the machinery, spaceships, technology and whatever else makes up science fiction, this evolves into a really emotional story about a young woman who slowly falls in love with two totally unacceptable, yet should be acceptable men. It is about how they each learn to overcome personal pain and loss. And, while doing this, they discover ways to communicate with one another. They slowly learn to accept and love each other and themselves, along with all their flaws and strengths. Because of their growing love, these three unique individuals find a way to function as a self-sustaining, integral unit. Cari makes me see what they are as being fundamental to this story, yet forget what they are, because labels should not matter.
This may have been written for fun and our enjoyment, yet Cari’s words have taught me much.

Do you ever wonder sometimes how an author comes up with certain ideas? Especially, the most obscure and "think outside the box" type of ideas and then turns it into literary prose? Those are questions that I ask myself every time I read a book by this author. I think that there is no way that she can outdo herself. This is especially true as she takes it in a whole new direction with everything that she writes.
In this case, she is expanding on the Dark Monster fantasy series only this time instead of a stonehifter we get a monster mé·nage à trois with a Princess, an Orc/shag, and a cyborg. Might seem out of this world, which it is both literally and figuratively in this case, but don't let that discourage you from trying it out and seeing for yourself that this book/series is everything. It blends science fiction with fantasy, erotica with witty tongue in cheek humor. She creates a world that if you close your eyes you can picture it as if you had visited before. That in itself is pretty amazing considering it a futuristic location in Space. As always, her books have STEAM and an eggplant or two. Nothing like a couple of big eggplants to fulfill your hunger.
Even with the humor, this author always gives another meaning. In this case, she seems to want to give the lesson the importance of being true to one's self and not to the dictates of those around you. In the long run, material things and appearances do not matter if you aren't truly happy.
I cannot want to see what the next utterly wicked and out of world idea, this author has up her sleeve for her audience next. Regardless of what it is, I will be waiting with baited breath!

So much to adore about this book: the tech-savvy heroine, the orc hero with a big heart, and the cyborg who wants a big, no I won't spoil it.
There's great humor and lots of heat here, along with a ton of heart. Thoroughly enjoyable: a fun, fast read.

Dark Monster Fantasy, Book 2. Geek girl meets half-breed Orc and metal man...what could possibly go wrong?
"Find a princess," they said. "We'll give you what you want," they said. Where in the fracking universe do you find a princess? After years of searching, Baz Rutland is about to give up when his ship gets a message: "Princess in need of dire extraction. Emergency message for any CESS ships within the system. Please respond." Said princess, Ember, a data extractor, appears to be the answer to Baz's prayers (if he actually prayed). But with her comes her huge half-Orc/half-Shag bodyguard, Hoss, and a shipload of attitude. But still...a princess is a princess. Soon it's destination Oom. But Ember's far more than she appears. She's not just a data extractor. She's the best of the best. And Oom isn't just any planet. It's the home of the cybermonks. This is a data extractor's wettest dream come true. Oh, did I mention Ember's fondness for big...members? She's already had a taste of Hoss, as forbidden as that may be, and she's hungry for more. She has no way of knowing what Baz's payoff is for delivering her to the cybermonks. When the Xatar appear above Oom, raining fire and destruction on the planet and kidnapping Ember. Hoss and Baz soon realize there's far more to Oom and the cybermonks than anyone could have imagined. Not all is as it seems. In fact, absolutely nothing is as it seems. Events spin out of control. Hidden agendas and unknown agents appear out of thin air. Can anyone be trusted? Is any of this even real? When the dust settles, just who and what will rise as victors?
WOW! Cari Silverwood's done it again! In this case, I'm pretty sure the phrase, "go big or go home," applies. A man reborn as a cyborg with a giant d**k? A half-breed Orc/Shag with a giant d**k? A data extractor princess with a fondness for...(wait for it)...giant d****s? Cybermonks? The Xatar? This book is an incredible cross between Star Wars and Barbarella. It's hilarious, sexy as hell, and devilishly, devastatingly clever with a dash of delicious darkness thrown in. It's absolutely irresistible! For me, the very best thing about Steel is Cari Silverwood's over-the-top, dark sense of humor that grabbed me from the first page. Ms. Silverwood is the queen of erotic comedy (and I mean that as the highest of compliments)! I've never read anything as perfectly delightful as Steel and its predecessor, Prey. (Both are standalones but they're both positively MUST READ books!) I laughed out loud just as much as I shuddered at times. I loved Ember's foibles and idiosyncrasies. She's terrified of the moral outrage that might befall her as the result of her actions, yet she outright flaunts the rules despite her fear. She's a skilled perfectionist who's so very imperfect. Hoss is simultaneously lovable, sympathetic, and terrifying. Baz? He reminds me of the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz, only it's not his heart that concerns him! The cybermonks truly defy description. Then there's Ig! OMG! He's amazing, and I loved him! (And if you want to know who and/or what Ig and the cybermonks are, you'll have to read the book!) Cari Silverwood knows exactly how to strike that perfect balance between sexy steaminess, outrageous over-the-top hilarity, and deep, dark deliciousness. Congratulations, Ms. Silverwood! I adored this book! I'd give it ten stars if I could!
A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language, a small bit of darkness, and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. OMG a menage with a Cyborg, beautiful human female and an Orc! Sooo freaking amazingly HOT!
Ember is a beautiful woman with locks of red, and very intelligent. She works for CESS which is a governmental agency that reaches through many galaxies. They want very important information and send Ember and Hoss her half Orc guardian or protector. She is adept with technology and finding data that is very difficult for just about anyone to find. So her title is princess, which a very high honor in this agency. They are in danger from the Xatar who have realized that she has gotten the data they want. Ember sends out a distress signal for help and that's when Baz (Cyborg) appears in the nick of time flying The Leaf a very old ramshackle spaceship, Baz finds out that Ember is a CESS Princess and is not very happy as she works for the agency that almost killed him. They are the reason he is a cyborg and not a complete human anymore. He considers him practically fortunate that the Cybermonks found him when they did. Except one thing that they did not fix was his c*ck, it was cut off when he was fighting the CESS. The Cybermonks promised him one when he brought them a princess. So even though he is angry about where Ember works he knows that he will finally get what he so desperately wants. When they get to the Cybermonks they praise Baz and send him to get his prized possession that he has been waiting for for such a long time. Hoss and Ember start feeling extreme lust for each other, which is the machinations of the Cybermonks. While they are on the planet with the Cybermonks they find that these three AI monks are really very deceptive in what they really want a princess for. They also want the data that Ember is carrying. The Xatar pursue them to this distant planet for the same reason. What is in this data that Ember has in her possession? Will keep you guessing throughout this story. I really enjoyed this book and loved the sex scenes especially the menage ones. Ember is one lucky girl to have two males with great big c*cks who love and protect her too!! One great story from a author who has one amazingly naughty mind, Read this book and all of her others!!

Buckle in and prepare for another humorous, insightful, and kinky scifi adventure with the kickbutt human Ember, affable and loyal half-Orc Hoss, and shrewdly practical cyborg, Baz.
This unlikely trio find themselves fighting for their lives against religious zealots on crusade, and later on, others they never expected.
Ember’s battle is not against external forces only, but internal. She must decide if her desires which are so against what’s acceptable in society are worth the consequences she’s sure to reap. A one-time indiscretion is one thing, but what happens when one time becomes several, and several become a never ending want she tries to deny?
“F***. You invited me in. If you complain I will tie you down and come all over you until you stop.”
I think Ember faced the largest character development as the story progressed with Baz following closely behind. Having experienced inexplicable torture in his past, the now cyborg man resides in a cloud of violence and restlessness (you probably would too if your ‘manhood’ was barely functioning). Until fate (or three crazy, maybe evil monks) place two strangers who need rescuing in his path. A brand new and impressive Swiss Army knife of a c@*k also helped. O_o
Lastly is Hoss, who also had obstacles to overcome, but was much simpler about recognizing and accepting them. I love that dude so much. He was a perfect offset to Ember and Baz’s angst.
Steel is a book with an exciting plot and truly inspirational sexcapades.

While in the spaceship provided to find one, he receives a call for help from a planet under seige and it happens to be from a Principle Data Extractor for CESS Industries - just what he needs - a PrinCESS!
Enter Ember, a human and her bodyguard Hoss, half Shag half Orc, a very large male crossbreed who at this moment is looking for a mate and has a king-sized asset to offer. While praying to be saved but thinking they were about to die, size queen Ember and Hoss decide to give in to their lust and wow! Then just to make things more interesting while still in the afterglow, help in the name of Baz arrives. Timing is everything.
True to their word the monks reward Steel with a member the size of his dreams and it comes with accessories and embellishments - ooh la la!
While not one of her usual dark stories, Cari has made it a playful and mischievously erotic one that made me laugh and giggle and "fanning myself" hot!

While not one of her usual dark stories, Cari has made it a playful and mischievously erotic one that made me laugh and giggle and "fanning myself" hot!
How can you not love a wild ride with a sexy female falling in love with two huge guys with extremely large parts. Can't wait for the next one in the series. Recieved an ARC for an impartial review.

“More addictive cosmic erotica adventuring”
STEEL (Dark Monster Fantasy, Book #2) by Cari Silverwood —>>> Half-human/ half-cyborg Baz Rutland’s latest goal is to rescue CESS agent Ember to order to complete the directive issued by the three ruling Cybermonks on Oom. And it is the very same CESS agency who is responsible for his near death, if not for the Cybermonks’ intervention. Baz’s wish to have a vital and essential currently missing appendage restored can only be granted after this seemingly impossible deed is completed, so when a timely distress call appears on his coms, he is willing to take the chance.
Shadowed by her half-Orc/half-Shag bodyguard Hoss, the highly talented Ember is able to extract important information from the Xatar, but they give chase once they realize it has left their planet in her hands. However, it seems that they are not the only ones who want what she has in her possession - the mysterious AI monks also want this very data. Hence, their machinations to have Baz rescue Ember and Hoss from their pursuers.
Fearing the meeting of their ends at the hands of the Xatar before their rescue, Hoss and Ember give in to base comfort, a line they cannot go back from, and one Hoss is not willing to back down from, even when later confronted with Baz and his new and improved tech endowment. If anything, they just make things with Ember all the much hotter, in his opinion…and both these males have exactly what she wants. The chase is SO on!
A creatively kinky, whimsical, and entertaining addition to this series! So many halfsies serve up an absolutely delicious and wicked whole, indeed.

Steel was a great 5 star read and is the second book in the Dark Monster Fantasy series and can be read as a stand alone.
Cari has once again pulled me in with her writing. The things she comes up with in her books amaze me, who comes up with this stuff? And even more, it draws me in and I can’t stop until I’m done reading.
Baz is a Cyborg without a certain appendage. In order to get a nice sized one he has to rescue a princess.Ember is a data specialist and a princess, with an attraction to “large” men. While on a mission that turns deadly she ends up turning to her guard Hoss for one last pleasure.
Hoss has always looked out for Ember and protected her so of course he was more than happy to give her what she wanted.
Baz finds Ember and Hoss, he offers to take her to safety, he can finally get what he’s been missing.
When Ember finds herself falling for both of these unusual men will she be able to choose? Or can she have both?
I fell for Steel completely, you couldn’t help but want the poor guy to get what he wanted. Hoss also grew on me. All of the secondary characters were great. There are some twists and the connection between these three was great. You get a great mix of fantasy, action, sci-fi and some hot crazy sex. Woohoo...I survived another trip into Monster Fantasyland as done by the warped mind of Cari Silverwood. (Just where the hell does she think some of this stuff up!)
Firstly I got to say I didn't realise this was a menage book, I got confused at the start of who was 'top dog' ie going to be her Monster hero. And there was me rooting for Hoss - damn he's my monster fanstasy if I was going to have one!
I loved the take on the see, hear, speak Cybermonks, well that's what they felt like an adaption of to me, very clever. I loved Ember too, she was strong yet showed heart and a very likeable heroine. Though how she managed some of those sex scenes....ooh la la!!!
Steel was a great book, although Prey still remains my favourite so far in this series. I'm left wondering what an earth Cari can come up with next!

This is definitely not the usual sci-fi romance. It’s a “wtf did I just read?” story that's equally fun, dirty and entertaining. Ember, Baz and Hoss find themselves thrown together and and their forced cooperation with similar goals but different reasons. Their relationship may have started out as just scratching an (enormous) itch, but soon it gives way to intimacy and real affection.
Baz and Hoss develop a bond as well (not MM). They get to a point where they’re both thinking the same, filthy things about Ember and how fun it might be to have another male to help tease and punish Ember.
I have to admit that I don’t like this as much as the first one. The technobabble and jargon got in my way. It has excellent writing and a great story; it just came down to my personal taste.
The story reminds me of Christopher Stasheff’s classic sci-fi book“The Warlock In Spite of Himself” combined with The Church of the Papal Mainframe from Dr Who, although I think these AI monks are way more pervy.

Once again, Cari Silverwood has created a fantastic world with sexy and snarky characters that have you rooting for them from the very beginning.
If you loved Prey, then you don't want to miss out on Steel. A data princess, a half orc/half shag, a cyborg, and some creepy robots who like to stick their fingers in everything make for one amazing story and of course, lots of hot steamy sex. It wouldn't be a Silverwood book if there wasn't a lot of amazing sex.
And lots of snark. We can't forget the snark.

I don't know if this story was supposed to be a fun read or what? The only thing I can say it made me laugh all the way with this guys I don't know who was more entertaining of the three but I just what to say I love them all. I can't wait to see what other amazing, fun and dark stories Mrs. Silverwood will bring us.

Another Cari Silverwood world!!
This is just plain, an awesome book. It is so evident that Cari loves to create whole worlds, with such attention to the fine details, that I almost feel like I'm there. Baz, Hoss and Ember. What a unique trio. You'll love them!

Excellent second book in this series! Honestly, I was expecting more of "typical Cari fashion", but wasn't disappointed in the least. I found this alien, cyborg, humanoid, orc book exciting and refreshing. A great story with a fantastic deserving ending.

I really enjoyed this book! The three main characters are Ember, Hoss and Baz. All three different. Each with their own story. Can they find what they really want? Beginning to end I loved it.
