Making Him a Believer
This was a quick one that gets very hot early on. I didn't want to stop listening. The insta-lust is thick and ripe for the plundering. Kayla may be young and inexperienced, but I love how she affects Nick "Preacher."
Things do get a bit dicey for Kayla with an attempted assault. While no woman should have to experience that, I do like how it plays out.
I hope Johnny has his own book, as it'll be fun to see him squirm after Kayla 'cursed' him. Those two have a great relationship. The banter and ribbing that only a sibling can provide, and the protectiveness.
I received an author's copy of the audio book and I can see myself listening to this one again. The narrator is Umi Markkanen. I do enjoy her, but wish she had a male counterpart.

I have to say that I really liked this one and it was a great addition to the series. Was a little worried with the dead ex and the H still mourning after 12 years, but it was actually written very well. It was great. I never doubted his love for the h and that she was his soulmate. Safety: The only om drama was from a guy who tried to rape the h. Her panties were down and he was getting ready to rape her before he was interrupted. Great read.

This author packs a bunch in a short book. I was totally surprised by how developed it came to be with some surprising drama. I liked the characters. It's a motorcycle club so it's violent and sometimes crude. I can always do without vivid sex scenes but the author manages Preacher (Nick) to be quite tender hearted. It's insta love but explained well enough that you might buy it.
It's still a MC book. Read at your gritty moments. lol

HOLY MOTHER OF BOOK LOVERS!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS SERIES! This series is set your crotch on fire smokin hot! First of all can I just say this cover is sexy as f**k! This story is Preacher and Kayla's story. Some things every book has in common is the heroine is always a virgin and the bad@ss biker is always much older than the woman but I LOVE every minute of it. I think it makes it that much hotter because the experienced hero gets to teach the heroine what it feels like to be loved and cherished. And vice versa. Preacher meets Kayla one night at the clubhouse when she comes looking for her twin brother Johnny and finds Preacher who is suffering in silence over the loss of his wife which was 12 years ago but he has never been able to let the memory of her go. He still wears his wedding ring. Preacher is still heart sick over losing her. Kayla sees this gorgeous man sitting alone looking grief stricken drowning himself in alcohol and when she can't find her brother she decides to sit down beside him and when he starts talking to her she just listens to him and lets him release some pent up agony, he starts to feel things that surprise him. He doesn't know who she is but he instantly wants her at least for just one night and though Kayla is a virgin she thinks the same thing, she'd rather her first time be given willingly by her and not taken. Kayla and Johnny have lived a terrible life and Johnny has always protected Kayla but he leaves to prospect for the Dixie Reaper's MC and Kalya is left to defend herself. When she and Preacher have an off the charts night together she leaves immediately after thinking that's how it works in the MC world. This book was a page turner for me and even though each story is short you always get the full effect of an entire book. But as usual your always left wanting more. I don't want to give anything away so. At times I was bouncing in my seat from the excitement and it definitely pulled at my heartstrings. I never wanted it to end. The sex is off the charts SMOKIN HOT! I extremely recommend this to everyone.

J'ai vraiment adoré le tome sur Preacher et Kayla !!
Kayla est la sœur jumelle de Johnny, celui-ci est prospect chez les Dixie Reapers et il est très apprécié par Torch et son old lady, Isabella !!
Mais lorsque sa sœur débarque au clubhouse, celui-ci n'apprécie pas qu'elle soit là, mais il va l'aider à quitter la ville afin de la protéger de leur beau-père !!
Seulement Kayla a omis de lui avouer que lorsqu'elle est arrivée au clubhouse elle a rencontré l'un des membres Preacher !!
Preacher a perdu son old lady et pour lui ce n'est pas facile, lui et Rachel ont été très heureux,mais n'ont jamais pu avoir avoir d'enfant !!
Mais lorsqu'il va rencontrer Kayla, celle-ci ne va pas le laisser indifférent, mais voilà elle va partir aussi vite qu'elle est arrivée !!
Mais quelques mois plus tard, lorsque Johnny débarque de nouveau avec elle, il n'a pas l'intention de la laisser filer à nouveau !!

I kind of got ahead of myself with this story. I knew there were other stories in this series. But when I read the synopsis I had to read this story it was wicked and short. Kayla and Preacher loved them as a couple. She may be younger but she is way wiser than her years and her brother Johnny is a prospect of the Dixie Reapers and has no problem at all when he realizes his sister slept with Preacher. Preacher lost his wife years ago and is still in mourning when Kayla goes to the club looking for her brother she's sees Preacher by himself and she knows this man is suffering they talk and that leads to more but Kayla leaves and Preacher can't find her or get his mind off of her.
Now she is back and has some surprising news for him. This story is so well put together even though it was short I can't wait to read the next in this series. I'm kind of hoping it is her twin brothers Johnny's story next.

Preacher meets Kayla for the first time when she gives him her virginity. When they get done she says thank you and disappears. Preacher keeps looking for her but nobody at the club seems to know her. In the meantime, Kayla has been dealing with her own problems. She has a pimp in the neighborhood that doesn't take no for an answer. He beats you until you agree and then puts you on the corner all beat up. So her brother moved her to a different town to start a new life. Which she does. She has her own place and a job that she kinda likes. Then one night one of the prospects from her brothers club comes to rape her. Thank God the mechanic was still working in the garage. Plus she just found out that she is pregnant. So her brother's friend makes her go home and talk to her brother and tell him everything and then she has to tell Preacher. Narration good, storyline great, author even better

Kayla wanted to know what went on in the Dixie Reapers clubhouse. She found Preacher at the bar doing shots. One thing leads to another and HELLO!!! This is going to change things and I don’t know if Johnny, her twin, is going to be happy about it.
I’m glad to read about Preacher. We need to know what was his story even if it was short. All the guys have something to tell. Kayla just happened to be the one that was going to break through the heart that Preacher carried with him. But things heat up when Kayla finds out she is pregnant and needs to be protected. I forgot about Carter that leach. I love that these are all older guys. Where can I find me one? LOL Kidding. I already have one.

I loved Preacher and Kayla! It is a shorter story than usual from Harley Wylde but it was perfect for their story. Preacher has pretty much given up on life ever since his wife dies. Now a decade later, a beautiful woman sits down next to him at the bar and chats with him. They talk about everything and before too long, they are getting very friendly. It was Kayla's first time but figures a man like him wouldn't want a permanent thing and takes off, realizing very soon that the condom broke. When she comes back two months later, she finds a changed Preacher who suddenly can't get her next to him fast enough. Can Preacher come to love Kayla or is it just because she's pregnant? This was really sweet but still off the charts hot. I can't wait to get more of the Dixie Reapers!

This book is shorter than the rest of the series, but that in no way took away from the story. As per usual with this series I was left wanting to know more, and I now have a new favorite book from this author. I enjoyed seeing the way that Preacher really did hold onto and love his wife. Kayla found the perfect Dixie Reaper for her when she first saw him looking sad at the bar by himself.
It was nice seeing a really caring side of Johnny in this book, he wanted what was best for Kayla. I just wish there had been a tad bit more interaction between Kayla and the other women.

Loved the story. As it is a motorcycle club I expected some rough language and behavior. Nick (preacher) is a tender-hearted soul. The members look out for each other, and there is a harsh sentence for violating the rules. Kayla falls for Nick, who is much older. She was a virgin, and oops, the condom broke. Her twin brother is a member of the club, which is how she meets Preacher. As fate would have it, she got pregnant that first time, with twins. Good story, great characters, and good narration.

He's loved before and lost. Preacher is a broken man who has broken faith to go along with it. All it took was one night with Kayla to set things in motion but Preacher has to learn that sometimes when you let someone go, you gotta find yourself before you can find what you should have had all along. Harley Wylde spins this romance with a lot of soul searching, humor, heart breaking, and adds some wrath to get Preacher and Kayla where they need to be. Nice book super quick but I knew that
Great series . Quick books but includes people in past books which are nice. I like that about the books. Conflicts are widely ranged too and not the same old story. So far the only thing I question is why must all of the heroines be virgin and so much younger than the hero. No I don't mind this for some of the books but after the first three or four books I kind of eye roll. Yes Yes great and powerful Oz you shall be the only one to have sex with her....Meanwhile hero's have so many past sexual partners ...stereotypical blah blah blah

Ms Wylde has done it again
Another great Dixie Reapers book, Ms Wylde has done it again. Although a shorter story Preacher stayed true to the other Dixie Reapers books. Preacher was a broken man, then Kayla came storming in to his life. All in all it was a fast read, but it was a pleasure to go on th journey with Preacher and Kayla and the ending was perfect.

Great Job
Wow, you got flabbergasted on Preacher's story, it was so sad but he was able to get his happy ending. I've always ask myself who's the man that's always so sad but you made it happen. Beautifully written Miss Harley Wylde, as always you've never disappoint, I'm giving it 5 stars and I would definitely recommend this series.

I absolutely screamed at how much I loved this book. Harley wylde makes my little bookworm heart explode with each and every Dixie reapers book she releases and the length of this one makes no difference in that. The characters this time around had the perfect level of broken pieces to put each other back together. I can't wait as an ACR to see what comes next.

Damn, this was good! I loved Preacher. I knew from previous books that I would like him, and this book confirmed it. He was sweet, but also kind of bossy in the bedroom. And I loved how cute he and Kayla were together. I'm so happy Preacher found her and them together found love and happiness. They deserved it.

Short and Steamy!!
This one was a short one,but I loved Preacher's story. To find love again after tragedy is always a good read. I really can't wait for Ink's book to come .

I love all of Harley Wylde book. This was a shorter story than other books in the series but still manage to be a great book to read.
