Gabe is the quintessential sexy nerd. He creates apps for a living, and lives for his work. He had a girlfriend back in high school but she literally up and left him without a word one day and he hasn't seen or heard from her since. Until one night at an investor benefit he sees his beautiful girl again. Only she's not a girl, she's a sexy woman intent on seducing the only man she's ever loved. He doesn't know she's got a huge secret that she's keeping, though. A secret, that when it's revealed has the chance of breaking his heart all over again, and destroying his life.
I adored Gabe. He's so sweet and smart and loves Meg the way everyone wishes they were loved. I had a harder time with Meg, but I understand that life pulled no punches with her and she was just doing what she had to survive. I can't say I liked her or connected with her character, but I appreciated how tough she was. Their story is sexy and a bit sweet and is filled with intrigue. I loved this book so much! Meg💃💋 is a wild child, aimlessly wandering through life, living off the good will of her dead mother's brother. When she reconnects with Gabe🐺🍆🌋, the only person who gave her a reason to live, her uncle👹 puts her up to stealing from him. The book is very emotional at times, and I identified with Meg💃💋, because I was a Bad Girl Wild Child💃💋💔, too. Recommend!

Don't you hate when most others rave over a book and you just didn't connect. This is just my opinion though so please don't let that stop you reading it. The plot was entertaining enough, I guess I just hated the female character. Did she even deserve a second chance? Gabe the geek deserved better, it was just lust. I guess the authors did a great job then in making me 'feel' because I sure felt for these two.

This was a really fun read! There’s just something wonderful about a sweet, socially inept nerd finding romance. This nerd scores, bigtime: with his high school sweetheart.
Gabe has grown from the inexperienced geeky high school boy Meg once charmed, into a chiseled business owner who happens to be exceptional in bed…oh, and he’s still got that nerdy brainiac thing going on. But it totally works in his favor now. Meg was the only girl to completely turn his world inside out. She stole his heart in high school, then disappeared with it when her mother suddenly died. Gabe was never able to find her after that. Until she shows up suddenly at a party for his business and turns every head in the room. Gabe isn’t the only one that’s grown up and filled out in the years they’ve been separated.
While Gabe and Meg immediately take up right where they left off in great and gloriously decadent ways, all is not what it seems. There’s deceit, coercion, lying, and just plain not playing nice going on in our nerdy little world and it’s obvious someone’s going to get hurt. Dang it. Because Gabe’s pretty adorable, and you just can’t help wanting him to have this all work out.
These characters are nicely done, as is the plot that moves quickly with a good bit of suspense as well as wit (great combo). Meg and Gabe are so completely hot together, my kindle steamed up every time they were on the same page together. Sheesh. But readers can still share this novel with their co-workers: they’ll find tons of that steamy passion as well as some mature language. They’ll also find a great story about a guy who knows what love is really about and is willing to show that to a woman who hasn’t ever had the benefit of such great love before. It just doesn’t get any better than that—nerdy or not.

Meg and Gabe knew each other in high school but then she disappeared and Gabe never saw her again. Meg's mother died and she was sent to live with her uncle Meg never got to see Gabe again. Now years later Meg's uncle wants her to seduce someone for information on an app that their working on. However Meg never dreamed the man she's to seduce would be her Gabe. Gabe is stunned when he sees Meg across the bar from him and can't stop himself from going to her. Meg knows she can't do what her uncle expects her to do because of her feeling for Gabe but doesn't know how to tell Gabe about what was going on. Will Gabe leave Meg when he learns her part in her uncle's plot?
This is a great story and once I started I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Meg and Gabe was blazing hot. This is a well writtena very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

Reconnected love story. The main male character is not your typical `guy`` type at all. He is an introverted intellectual with limited social skills. He has no filters and just emotes his feelings for all to see. The main female character through past trauma is a very singularly minded person. She is very independent, has a strong inner core and survival instinct but rather loose morals and an ambivalence about emotions. After the two main characters reunite and their romance is re-established, the main female character appears to have an epiphany regarding emotions and seeks a romantic relationship with the main male character. This is a good story with elements of corporate espionage, betrayal, abuse, drama and sensual love. scenes.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book. I loved this book! I was captivated from the start with Meg and Gabe and couldn’t put this book down and you will not be able to either. These two were high school sweethearts until one day Meg was gone. Gabe went years without her, the love he lost and now that she’s back he sees his chance to get her back. Will Meg’s jerk of an uncle stand between them or will she rise above him and take back what’s hers? This was a great story, intrigue, suspense, twists and turns and sexy and deliciously steamy scenes that do not disappoint. I highly recommend this book; these two authors are an amazing team and I can’t wait to see what they do next.

What a read from KB Winters and Evie Monroe! These two teamed up to give us a great book filled with passion, love, heartache and even some corporate backstabbing. I was kinda on edge throughout the book to see what would happen and to be honest I really wasn't sure whether I liked Meg throughout the book till close to the end. She grew on me :). I really enjoyed reading this and the HEA was fantastic! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

An exciting second chance romance, it was easy to fall for Meg and Gabe's love story. They'd been high school sweet hearts, but their love was stymied. Years down the line, Gabe is a brilliant man, and a hottie, but Meg's greedy uncle wants to use her to get Gabe's awesome app. The chemistry between Meg and Gabe is strong, but there is an element of dishonesty in play. This story definitely grabbed my emotions, but I was captured by each page. The authors do an amazing job with the plot, and make the characters people I care about. This is a highly enjoyable and recommended romance. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.

This book had a well thought out plot with over-the-top yet believable characters who got what they deserved. Meg grew up without love and was taken advantage of by men. Only her boyfriend, Gabe, a nerdy geek in his senior year did not use her. But she had to move off suddenly after three months. Her rich uncle she has lived with for the seven years since has offered her $500,000 to get the code for the app his partner has developed that they are about ready to launch. He arranges for them to meet at an investor party, but when she recognizes Gabe across the room and he moves swiftly toward her, she thinks this job will be a cinch! A really good read!

They were high school sweet hearts until Meg moves away due to circumstances out of her control. She lives with her uncle who is Gabe's business partner. Her uncle wants the business for himself so he is using Meg by manipulation and guilt trips. Gabe has never forgotten his love for her and
when he sees Meg at a business function he realizes he still loves her. All the love Meg felt came back to her when she sees him. Can she betray him like her uncle tells her to do. This is an amazing read. Well written with a great story line and well rounded characters. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Bravo
Okay i just admit i didn't allot of time angry while reading this book. The uncle Heller evil butt. He mentally programmed Met to think she was the blame for everything, useless, a harlot, etc.
Meg lost her mom as a teenager and left to live with her only surviving relative, uncle Heller. Also, in the process she lost her high school sweetheart that truly cared for her and her him.
Gabe was a bit of a nerd that lost his family and spent his live working and wondering what happened to his lost love, Meg. Then fate and evilness steps in to run interference in Gabe and Meg's life.

Great read.
He is a computer nerd in a positive way.
She is not having an easy life and needs a way out. Her uncle gives her a change and she takes it.
But it brings them back together.
She thinks she can do it, but soon she gets feelings for him again and it gets even more complicated.
I like the way he cheers up by seeing her again.
It brings shine to his life.
But although they are extremely hot together, of course the plot from her uncle and her comes out and how will he react?
For that you have to read the book, you won't regret it, it is great!

Meg realized at an early age that men only want one thing and that love doesn't exist. Gabe has always been the geek, but wants the love that his parents had. They had a short time in high school and now her job is to destroy him. Will Meg follow through? Will Gabe be able to prove to her that love is real?
Loved how these two were completely different, but yet couldn't help but be drawn to each other. While at first I wasn't sure if I would like Meg, it was easy to see that she wanted someone to want her for her, not anything else. I loved Gabe's character's heart, even at times I definitely thought he was naive. Great read!

Meg and Gage were high school sweethearts until Meg was forced to move away. Gabe was left with a lot of questions and no answers when Meg wasn't suddenly at school. Fast forward to years later and Gabe is a technology whiz, owning his own company and fast tracking new apps for the world to discover. But Meg is being blackmailed into getting on Gabe's good side and trying to steel his secrets. What she didn't count on was falling for Gabe again, but can she ruin her chance to be free or will she take a chance on Gabe again? Suspenseful and heartwarming all in the same book.

This is a second chance that I didn’t expect. She’s trying to get out of her uncles possession and ends up fighting the guilt of doing something that could hurt her high school sweetheart, who, she’s fallen madly in love with once again. This story had me teared up a couple of times, seeing how she’s broken down from all the mental abuse. I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Gabe is quite the sexiest nerd around and has grown so much since high school. Meg has had a rough childhood with a mother who was an addict and when she passes is stuck living with her uncle. They haven't seen each other since an incident happened in high school, what will their reactions be when they see each other after 7 years? You'll have to read the book to find out what will happen. This book is well written and the characters are interesting to read about.

This is a great story, subterfuge, lies, second chances, love. Gabe has invented a dating app, and his so called partner wants it and gets his niece to seduce it out of him. Meg didn't realise that it was Gabe she had to lie to, he was her high school date and the only one to take her for who she was. Can she do it?
I was hooked, this is well written and I just loved Gabe.

These ladies have written another fantastic read. I didn't expect anything that happened. It will keep you hooked from beginning to end. I really enjoyed meg and Gabe a lot. I adored Gabe. This story has pretty much the elements of a movie. It was a really good read.

I wasn’t so sure about this book based on the blurb. But I’m glad I read it and I’m sure you will too. The plot of the story is different and refreshing in that twisty way. Not dark twisty. Just not what I was expecting. The characters are well developed and their story is entertaining. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivIzed review.

Loved this!!! It's the redemption of the nerdy guy in high school and the bad girl he has always loved! This is a sweet, super sexy and drama filled second chance at love. The characters are so great and the story line is so well written I found myself cheering for the hero and Meg, even when she was behaving badly. This was the perfect way to unwind after a long day at the office!!

Meg and Gabe should have been so unlovable but I adored both of them. Gabe was so weak, Meg such a scheming character, but as the story unravelled and the reasons behind how they grew up unfolded, I began to love them both more and more with each page I read. And the chemistry between them was so hot. Read an ARC for an honest review.

Wow, they've done it again. This dynamic author duo have written a great book that's guaranteed to have your kindle on fire. A romance with plenty of twists and lots of heat. A second chance romance that will warm your heart and have you page turning and wanting more. A great read that I read as a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review

Gabe and Meg dated briefly in high school. She did whatever she wanted and he followed her like a love sick puppy. For her saying she's so world-wise, she's not. She is careless, reckless, and I don't know what Gabe sees in her. Not much relationship building either, only her avoiding taking about herself and lying. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Interesting
This book was interesting and fun to read to a point. Gabe was really smitten with Meg but she didn't deserve him. But don't they say opposites attract. She was not at all likeable until near the end. He was a neat freak but at least he wasn't a manwhore like she was a whore. I'm trying to remember that this is supposed to be a fairy tale.
