I absolutely enjoyed reading this Fabulous Colwood Firehouse Box Set by Kim Fox. Without question Kim Fox is very talented writer. This Box Set includes five full paranormal romance novels about the shifters in the Colwood Firehouse series. Each book is full of drama, laughter and fascinating characters and a HEA for each shifter. But I must confess I love to read about Bear shifters there is just something about Bears I love. I have read all five of these books. Because I am a total book stalker for Kim Fox. I enjoy everyone of her books I have read. Her characters are fascinating and captivating and this series has something for everyone especially if you are into paranormal romance. I am happy that this Box Set contains all five books in The Shifters of Colwood Firehouse series. If you haven't read any of Kim Fox books then you are in for a awesome treat to enjoy.
The boxed set includes shifters Zane, Gunner, Axel, Jax and Draven. Finding a mate is the last thing on these shifters mind at least for three of them that is. But when the right sassy, smart curvy women waltzes in their lives, they quickly become their mates focus.
Book One: Zane
This is Zane and Gwen story. Zane is a the Kodiak bear shifter and Gwen is a baker who his bear bonded to as his mate. But for now all the two of them can do now is pick arguements with each other. Until two enemies are forced together for a night.
Book Two: Gunner
Gunner and Aleida story. Gunner is a Lion shifter and Aleida is a dragon shifter and Draven's unmated sister. Can you imagine having the worst date of your life, only to arrive home to find your mate. The one you would give your right arm to have been on a date with.
Book Three: Axel
Axel and Hadley story. Axel is a polar bear shifter and Hadley is on vacation. Their's is so exciting and funny. Their relationship is sizzling hot worthy of any type of genre, their characters are beautifully defined. Whose your daddy?
Book Four: Jax
This is Jax and Violet story. Jax is a lion shifter, a grumpy one at that and the one thing that he hates more than kids is sharing the remote control for the TV. Violet has a abusive boyfriend who makes her leave her baby at the firehouse which causes her to be an emotional wreck. When someone drops off an annoying pink package on the doorstep, and this one isn't from Amazon..Can you say instant family.
Book Five: Draven
This is Draven and Calie story. Draven is the Colwood firehouse chief. But his brothers who are older than him wants to kill him after they have killed his father. Draven is a Red Dragon who is now on the run from his birthright. Cali is locked in a tower for five long years she is being guarded by vicious dragon shifters. When a mysterious red dragon flies by her window and shifts into a naked man who offers to take her away. But is she desperate enough to go away with a naked pervert creeping outside her window. But now his brothers are determine to take over the world.

All of these characters are enjoyable and praise worthy. Ms. Fox created a world that's entertaining and full of humor. All of them has chemistry that is blazing hot. Every story includes the other shifters so we get to enjoy their characters also. As usual Ms. Fox series is steamy hot with lots of laughter and the best entertainment. I knew this box set would be fun with a lot of laughter. I am a real book stalker of Kim Fox books. I have enjoy reading all of Kim Fox series they are humorous, suspenseful, a real page turner that is if you enjoy Paranormal Romance. That all I can say besides saying you will enjoy reading this series it's full of laugh, romance, action and it's steamy hot. These stories are blazing hot but what else can a dragons, bears Lions be. I absolutely recommend this Box Set.

1. Zane
Gwen is a human who lost her mom and needed a fresh start. So she moved to Colwood and opened up a muffin shop.
Zane is a kodiah bear shifter and can't seem to stop fighting with the girl next store even if his bear wants her.
Oh but things have changed! Lol
I love the characters their so much fun and they pull you into the story so much I wished they were real! Their is drama, action and mystery. I really love this series and the main one this series spring from their awsome. If your a shifter fan you have got to check them out! Their awsome!

2. Gunner
Gunner is a lion shifter and he is on the worst date ever see he got sold at a charity auction to an old lady. Phyllis is hoping for far more the just the dinner the auction was for. Poor gunner.
On the way home after dinner with his passed out drunk date Gunner smells a dragon in the Firehouse that is not his alpha and he doesn't know so he shops to check it out. That's here he meets the most beautiful girl he has ever seen.
Oh yea let the fun begin. I about died laughing as poor gunner has to deal with phyllis! You funny. I love the characters and how they all interact . There is tons of action, mystery and fun don't miss it

3. Axel

Axel is a poker bear shifter and wants to mate and start a family since he this one girl.
Hadley only planned on a one night stand with a hot guy while on vacation in Colwood Montana but surprise she was a baby on the way
She comes back to tell Axel about the baby but she doesn't plan to stay. Axel is crushed then if that not bad enough a ice breathing dragon shows up. OMG
Lots of excitement in this one and the OMG of all fights scenes too. I love characters so much thier so sweet, funny and crazy to. It does have a happy ending so don't miss it,

This whole series are book I could reread over and over again.

4 Jax
Jax is a lion shifter and works at the Colwood Firehouse since he was 16. This was going to be his first time to get 4 days all to himself but someone dropped a baby off at his door.
Violet had been forced to give away her baby by Anton. An abusive mean tiger shifter that kept her prisoner for two years, if she didn't he was going to kill him. She just so happens to be jax's mate,
Lots of action in this, lots of crazy mood changes too with Jax becoming a first time dad. I love the change in his character. Your just going to hate Anton lol don't miss out shifter fans

5. Draven
Draven was born the to be the next dragon king but he is happy just living in Colwood Montana and being the fire chief until he hears his evil half brothers plans then he knows he has to stop them with the help of his half sister Aleida who is a dragon shifter and her mate who just happens to be Draven friend Gunner. A lion shifter. So far this has been a wild goose chase to fulfill a prophecy about a sword called Caliburnus and the rightfull king but their not sure if it's even true. One more place to look one last chane.
Can't tell you more with giving anything away but wow great twists and turns on this story. I loved the characters their so fun! Great action, mystery, comedy. It was a great read. Each story builds off the last one so you should read them in order to get the full fun of the series plot.
OMG I lover each book the series is awesome, I own each book separately because I couldn't wait for the writer to put the set out lol but if it's awsome to have them all in one place and not to have to wait to see what happens in the next book because you all ready have it!
Shifter fans will love this series!

Zane*****
Love this story because I love shifter stories in general and I love a story with some humor in the midst of the telling. I love this series and this authors style of writing. Zane is willing to love Gwen from afar, while she indulges in her love to hate the worst neighbor ever. Well we all know that there is a very thin line between love and hate. These two have a series of "oops" and very sexy moments before they discover that they might just be perfect for one another. Great read, couldn't put it down doesn't drag or lag so it was delightful to read it nonstop. Anxiously awaiting Gunner's story....

Gunner****
Finally!! I am so glad that Gunner found his mate. The tension from his obsession with Joan had me upset with him for causing them so many issues and at the same time had me feeling sorry for him and his unrequited love for Rhett's mate. This brings no peace to this series though, the dragons will rule.....lol. Well I should say the heat is on!!! Aleida comes at the right time to help these shifters settle a score but this only begins the journey. These dragons are determined to so their fight isn't over and their best is yet to come. Enjoyed reading this and I am very anxious to read what will happen next in the adventures of the Colwood Firehouse. This couple is very direct, knows what/who they want and quickly connect as the series plot thickens.

Axel*****
Finally, Axel! He is so lonely and so ready for his mate and he doesn't care who knows. Hadley was attracted to Axel but she doesn't know him so she doesn't think relationship is possible. Well, enter the ice dragon, lol. Axel wears his heart on his sleeve and jumps in full throttle to convince her otherwise. They get a little more time and have to team up as danger returns to Colwood and shifters unite! Very exciting, hilarious and adventurous shifter romance. Also good to hear from some of the previous characters. Another great story!!!

Jax*****
The lion caves….This is great!!! Very entertaining and exciting read. The author picked the perfect plot for this character, the very thing he hates opens his heart to love and his mate. I still think back and laugh at how he took care of the Beast….he’s creative haha!!! So glad to get to know Jax and have more depth to understand his personality. Also happy for his mate who was in desperate need of some bonded love, she’s a survivor though, love the comrade of the firehouse crew and can’t get enough…anxiously awaiting more of this gratifying series!!!

Draven*****
The dragon king….another excellent shifter romance. Full of action, adventure and the very unique brotherhood fun that the Colwood firehouse firefighters share. Against all odds, they stand together as a united force of reckon. Draven dragon is just as stubborn as his mate, lol. Her story is heartwarming, their story is gripping and fast-paced. I love and thoroughly enjoyed reading this whole series which are all so good that I will be rereading them in the near future whenever I need a guaranteed exciting shifter story.

Fantastic series!

Zane: Fun, sexy, and amazing! Gwen has opened up a muffin shop right next door to Zane’s Firehouse, but not all is milk and cookies, the Firehouse is full of shifters, but Gwen has no idea. Gunner: Sexy lion meets his match! Dragon shifter Alieda is out to protect the world from her evil dragon shifter half brothers. When she comes to her brother Draven for help she never expects to meet sexy and broody Lion shifter Gunner. Gunner’s Heart still bears the pain of his love choosing another, but when he meets Aleida he realizes that he never really experienced love, until now. But with dangerous shifters hiding around every corner, will they even live long enough to fall in love?

Axel: Terrific addition to the series, I love Axel, he is so amazingly sweet!! When one hot night with an even hotter polar bear shifter ends up with a baby on the way, Hadley’s life is thrown for a loop. All Axel wants is a mate and a family, but Hadley has other plans, she wants nothing to do with sexy Axel. Can he convince Hadley to give him a chance at being a mate and father, or will a cold evil lurking in the shadows ruin his chance?

Jax: The perfect combination of romance and adorableness! I adored this story, we got to see the real Jax, the one that was hiding behind his gruff exterior, and he is all sexy, soft, and cuddly! Violet is an amazing woman, and little Benjamin the Beast is so dang cute!

Draven: Woohoo, get ready to rumble, dragon style!! Draven is out to save humankind and defeat his evil dragon brothers, but without a mystical sword or a mate, his luck is quickly running out. Will he and the rest of the Colwood Firehouse crew be able to save the day? And what about the mysterious and beautiful woman in the window?

Fun set of 5 great stories:

Zane - What a lot was packed into his story. I loved the "hate" relationship between Gwen and Zane. The relationships that Zane has built tickle to read. The author had me cracking up with the Gwen's naming issues. There is a playful touch on some of the previous characters from Colwood, MT.

Gunner - I was laughing from the start with Gunner's charity date. Gunner and Aleida were wonderfully at odds with each other the entire time. It is like they couldn't help themselves. While there was serious danger, this was a fun story. At the end, I wanted more. While not a true cliff hanger, I still felt unfinished.

Axel - Awww, Axel is the best !! He is just so enthusiastic and lovable. He acts so quickly with his heart. It's just adorable. Hadley was bubbly and just perfect for him. There was more to the story than just the romance for these two. However, I was all about these two! It was a fabulous story that I didn't want to put aside.

Jax - melted my heart. Jax has been built up to be this rough and grumbly guy that broke no arguments about where he stands on relationships and especially kids. Violet broke my heart. What she had to endure was just tearful. To see her find Jax and to find her inner strength was wonderful.

Draven - was the last of the Colwood Firehouse Shifters. There was a lot to tie up with him. The story did it without wasting a lot of time or space. It was good to touch base with the other members and their mates. While there was a lot of action, it also happened in a short amount of book time. I did wonder about the age and maturity difference that there might be between a dragon that had been around for centuries and his mate that is oh so young. Fortunately the story wasn't really about their after the HEA, so we don't need to know if it works or not. There was also a tease about coming stories, so maybe there will be more on the Colwood Firehouse shifters. Overall it was a good and quicker read.

Great series in one box set!

I don't think I have read anything by Kim Fox before. This was a good introduction. You get the whole series for one low price. I liked that these are not all one type of shifter. They each had issues to deal with, with an overarching problem in addition. Of them all, I think I liked the last 2 stories the best. Jax is hilarious when he tries to take care of the baby, especially since he hates all kids. I will never look at duct tape the same again! And Draven is just so sweet with Cali. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is a bit more depth to the stories. But these are all fun, quick reads. Each story has a fast pace, a hopeful tone and a character oriented storyline with some action and some steamy scenes. The characters are vivid and endearing. This is a great box set for people who like quick shifter romances with some laughs, some excitement and fun characters. Enjoy!

I purchased each and every one of these individually and I have to say I really enjoyed the whole series of this paranormal Romance by Kim Fox. I encourage you to pick it up it is a wonderful read. You will not regret getting it if you love paranormal romances. The guys in the stories are like brothers and they are funny hot and there are several laugh out loud moments in each story along with great passion.

I was looking for a read to unwind to, this fit the bill perfectly. Though it did have several tense moments. It's 5 different stories, with 1 big story running through. Really enjoyed it.

Enjoyable read
