DNF for 24%. This new plot line where she has a stalker is annoying to me. But what was more annoying is the fact that they like each other and yet can't be together because why? And he has a love that means he'll never love again?

I really liked the characters in this book, but the story dialogs made little sense. At least to me. Billionaire Tyler needs a date to a gala and asks the beautiful yoga instructor. They go and her old boyfriend shows up. Omar is an ugly powerful man that she escaped from. In order to keep safe from him, she announces that her and Tyler are engaged. Of course the fake engagement leads to many problems as they fall in love but to afraid to admit it. They break up then? Confusing.

What a wonderful addition to this series. I really enjoyed Tyler and Tawny’s story. If you’re looking for a great read, you won’t go wrong with this book. All the previous main characters make appearances and we meet the couple for the next book. I can’t wait to read Sasha and Jasper’s book.

Further to the Billionaire Beach Club Romance series, Tyler Rigby has been nicknamed The Bashful Billionaire by the ladies on the island. After having made a fortune, his only desire is to sink into oblivion and avoid all references to his previous life. For the most part he is successful, until he finds it necessary to have a date for an upcoming charity event. For some time, Tawny has been the prime attraction for both Tyler and his dog Lazy Bones, but he has never worked up the courage to speak to her. Finally, allowing Lazy Bones to take the lead, Tyler asks Tawny to be his date – no strings attached. Unfortunately, at the event, Tawny runs into the man she least wants to see, and springs a surprise engagement on Tyler – not that he’s complaining. As the engagement spins out of control and becomes public knowledge, both Tyler and Tawny realise that they are attracted to one another, and the situation becomes more and more complicated. There was a certain amount of tension in this book, with an ex-boyfriend, a mother putting her oar into the works, and people with very little to do other than gossip. The story is well written, clean and can be read in an evening. Characters from previous books in this series appeared in this one too, although it is a stand-alone with a happy ending. I received a copy of this book for free as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Tawny and Tyler

Tawny has been crushing on the bashful billionaire ever since his dog Lazy Bones dropped his frisbee in her yoga class one day several months ago. Tyler has been thinking of the beautiful yoga class instructor ever since his dog Lazy Bones dropped his frisbee in her class a few months ago. Why couldn't he get up the nerve to talk to her? Then he gets his invitation to the children's wing gala and at first doesn't know who he will ask to be his plus one. When Tawny agrees to go with him, he is excited, but cautious at the same time. Tawny is the same way, she just can't lose her heart like she normally does! At the gala she sees the last person in the world she wants to see,Owen, her ex-boyfriend. She says the first thing to come to her mind and introduces Tyler as her fiancee so Owen will leave her alone. Tyler is taken aback but goes along to protect Tawny as he can see and feel her anxiety when Owen approaches. What happens next? Will Tyler and Tawny be able to pull off the fake fiancee bit? Will Owen leave her alone? Only one way to find out, read this great story by Elana Johnson you wont be disappointed.

Book three in the Getaway Bay Series is another interesting book to read.
When confronted with going to a big fund-raising event without a date. Tyler Rigby decides to ask Tawny Loveless, the Yoga instructor at his friend’s hotel. When she accepts and goes to the event, she is totally surprised to find an old boyfriend in attendance. One who is determined to get back together with her. She introduces him to her ‘fiancé’, Tyler, to try and deter any contact. After the event is over, Tyler decides that he can play the part until Omar leaves. The relationship builds and the future for the two of them hangs in the balance.

Just couldn't hold my interest

I tried to stick with it; closing it out several times, then coming back again.
I kept wanting it to get better. I wanted something to get my attention, and hold it.
I read through the 7th chapter. Still, nothing. No excitement. No love. No inkling of things yet to be.
It just plodded along, much as it has from the beginning. For me, life is too short, and an afternoon free to read, is just too precious to waste on an, at best, mediocre romance. So, I am deleting it, and moving on.

Romance, clean; novella; Series but standalone
Cute romance between Tawny, a yoga instructor and Tyler, a reclusive Billionaire. I wasn't interested in the money part of this as much as the attraction between the couple. Tyler needs a date, and seems to be unable to get Tawny out of his mind. He braves his worry and asks her out to an event. As they navigate their relationship, the genuine attraction, and Tawny's good heart win them each over. Sweet, fun and cute romantic read with a beautiful beach setting. Perfect fun, light escape read.

This is the fun story of Tyler and Tawny. Tyler is off to a fund-raising event and he asks Tawny the beach yoga instructor to go with him. That’s where things get exciting and to stop her old boyfriend trying anything she tells him that she is engaged to Tyler. Will pretending to be engaged bring these two together? Is there a HEA?
This third book is a fun and interesting read. I so enjoyed the characters and storyline.

BASHFUL BILLIONAIRE
Tyler drifting thru each day, with nothing too important to do. Beach, and seeing the yoga instructor working out, could he ask her. He needed a date for the gala event. Tawny, he has been here at beach for months and now he finally talks to her, let him work for it. A fake engagement can that lead to one with lots and lots of strings and be real. Delightful enjoying each one in this series, of how love comes. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion..

Another fun addition to this series.

I really like Tawny. She is quirky and fun. Tyler is supposedly a bashful billionaire, but he seemed to get over that rather quickly. I enjoy fake turned real engagement stories and enjoyed this one as well. There was the usual uncertainty on both sides of whether or not this was real and finally being brave enough to talk about it. Tawny and Tyler make a good couple.

Love Tyler, Tawney and Lazy Bones!

This is a cute story between Tyler and Tawny with the help of his dog Lazy Bones. Tyler normally hangs out on the beach surfing along with his dog. Tawny does yoga on the beach. They meet with the help of his dog. Their story has a lot of ups and downs with their game engagement,his family and their island friends. Love the struggles the go through. Love the endjng.

Sweet Romance

They're such a silly pair! She does yoga on the beach and he really just surfs and enjoys relaxing on the beach barely using his money from poker and the online poker business he started with his brother. They say they're engaged to get rid of her ex and then it gets ridiculous, because they don't say how they really feel. That took entirely too long! I was sad that there wasn't anything about the other couples in this one.

Beach Bum and Yoga Instructor

Tyler is living the life. No time clock, no worries and no stress. Catching waves and hanging with his buddies. When he needs a plus one for high society he asks the hot yoga instructor Tawny. His dog is always meandering to where Tawny is.

Tawny is along for the show, until her very dangerous and very ex-boyfriend appears at the gala. To save herself she introduces Tyler as her fiance and the game has begun as Tyler works to keep Tawny safe ~

Great read!

I thoroughly enjoyed this. I loved the angst and build-up between Tyler and Tawny. I was rooting for them. (And also found myself hoping for a story with a HAE for Stirling. Does he have one out there that I’ve missed???) It was a perfect blend of frustration and feels. Looking forward to reading The Brazen Billionaire next.

This has been my favorite of the series so far. I really liked both the male and female MC. I loved their laid back attitudes and Lazy Bones. The ending with the magazine article was too picture perfect and cliche for me, but other than that, it was a quick fun read. Cute and sweet. It is clean. No language. No sex.

They both attend a gala but when her ex shows up things get a bit interesting. Tawny introduces Tyler as her fiance. Totally fake engagement can it become real?

When Tawny sees her ex she panics and blurts out the first thing she thinks, and introduces Tyler as her fiance. Loved how he just went with it. They both had past issues they needed to work through and get past preconceived ideas. It turned a little rocky but in the end it was amazing. Really liked how they handled the ex and the reporter. Pretty smart.

Great romance in a beautiful setting.

Great romance Ina beautiful setting. Tawny has some mixed up ideas on how to keep a boyfriend. When she finds herself in a difficult situation she blurts out the first thing that comes to her. What an adventure it was to go with this couple while they discover their true feelings for each other.

Tawny and Tyler do things out of order. After months of trying to not let the other know they had noticed them, Tyler finally gets desperate enough to ask her out. Things quickly spiral out of their control and they find themselves engaged. Elana Johnson is the best at making the implausible plausible and fun to read. I enjoyed this book.
