The steamy and passionate final installment in the Seduce Me Series!
An old boyfriend and an exciting job offer is the perfect escape for Ashley Sullivan. She wonders if it represents the life she had always envisioned for herself. The only problem is that her passionate desire for Brandon Mitchell is never far from her thoughts. When Brandon unexpectedly arrives to win her back, Ashley finds the thought of being with him irresistible. She agrees to a romantic getaway to France in hopes of finding a love to last forever. Can Ashley and Brandon find their happily ever after? Or will Ashley discover that a life in Los Angeles is what she wants after all?
When Ashley gets an offer from Lauren Caldwell from Adele fashion magazine for a lucrative position, she's intrigued, especially since she's not sure things will work out with Brandon. The job would be in California and that's where Jeremy is. Could she give him another chance if things don't work out with Brandon? Would this be the right move for her? When Lauren Caldwell sets up an all-expense paid trip to meet with Adele magazine, Ashley decides to take the weekend and see just what the offer entails. When Brandon shows up, Ashley tentatively gives him another chance, on her terms.
Although I missed the first parts of this story, I did get the chance to read the third and fourth parts. I was able to pick up the heart of the story with no problem, but it would have been nice to read each and every part. In my opinion, I'm not especially thrilled with the installments when reading a book and this is part of the reason why…I missed the first two parts. Yes, I can go back to "catch up", but it's just not the same as reading it from the beginning, all together. Readers may enjoy that though so they get the story as it's "happening". It was nice that Jeremy and Ashley remained friends and he was understanding about her wanting Brandon. The make-up sex was erotic and came with the dirty talk that Ashley loved. The heroine stuck by her man, which was a pleasure to read. Everyone should get a make-up vacation like Ashley and Brandon got and it made everything so romantic and sexy. It was great that the hero and heroine got their happily ever after, not only for them, but for me too! I'll be looking for future sensual reads from E.J. Adams! 4 Stars
I really liked the story in this series. However, I didn't care of this book as much as the others. I am happy we got to find out Ashley's decision but the suspense and tension is just isn't there. I also felt Ashley's relationship with Jeremy should have been given more time, perhaps it's own "part." Then, that could have made Ashley's decision harder for her to make.
