He can tie up all her objections, but what about her heart?
Kennedy O’Connell’s life is perfect—a great job, plenty of friends, a brother who loves her. The chaos that ruled her childhood is gone, and she couldn’t be happier. Unfortunately, her mischievous streak tends to get her in trouble, and when she walks into her favorite spa to find a sexy Australian rock star taking her place, she can’t resist a little fun.
Isaac Anschau has spent five years chasing his dream. His rock royalty status can’t be denied, but his demons are catching up with him—he’s burned out, his creativity decimated. Until a redheaded vixen decides she wants to play, and he discovers a way to leave his nightmares behind. There’s just one problem: Kennedy is dead-set against submitting, despite the way she melts when his Dom side comes out.
They’ve got nothing to lose by walking away, and everything to gain if they give in to the raging hunger between them. Baring their bodies would only take a moment. Baring their souls could take a lifetime.

This is an exciting book, with a gorgeous Aussie rock star for the hero and a sassy, mischevious woman as the heroine.
Isaac has hit a wall when it comes to writing his music and the only thing that brings a glimmer of hope is the lovely redhead serving as customer support for the hotel Isaac is staying in in Las Vegas. Kennedy is the sister of another rock star and works hard to stay professional in the face of overwhelming attraction. Even more of a complication is that Isaac is a Dom and Kennedy is sure she's not not submissive-even though she reacts beautifully to his gentle domination.
Watching these two come together while battling Isaac's nightmares is a fun and entertaining read.
I have positive feelings and thoughts for Ella Sheridan's If only series, but I just couldn't like this book. It was a little too rushed for my taste and it was a whirlwind. I feel like the book barely went deep into one of the plotlines and that it actually is half of its 152 pages. I hadn't even realized that I had finished the book until I got to the end part and that makes me sad, because I was left unsatisfied and wanting a more "complete story". On the bright side, the story had begun in a good way and I was enjoying the book until I reached a point where the author had to rush things in order to end the book. I didn't want to rate the book with a 3-star rating, but I cannot give it more.
Dang I loved this book! I always find myself racing through a book by Ella Sheridan, which shows how well she writes. But also makes me sad, because then it is over sooner.
So much chemistry packed in the book. When Isaac and Kennedy would interact, the steam poured out of my Kindle. I loved following her journey to realizing that she is submissive.
I have to say that I didn't even know what this story was about but knowing Ella Sheridan, it had to be good. This story and the characters are awesome. The chemistry between Isaac and Kennedy are what makes a story great for me. This story has heart, laughter, and demons that Isaac has to face to be able to move forward. Isaac is The Rock God and after he left home 5 years ago, he has been on top. But with this tour coming to an end, he finds himself without the words for the next album and his demons are getting closer. When he meets Kennedy, she seems to pull something from him and he wants to explore more with her. Kennedy knows who Isaac is, who doesn't, but she can't explain the pull he has on her. Maybe a little fling might be just what she needs. She is drawn to him and the pull gets stronger the more they are together. Can Isaac share is secrets without scaring her away? Will Kennedy let him take control with her or will she run before she even gives him a chance? I loved everything about this story and now I need to go back and read the others in the series. If you are looking for a great story that all the feels, then this story is for you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. **Copy provided by the author and this is my honest review**
A 5 ++++ star read from this author about a Dom, Isaac, who happens to be a rock star and Kennedy, the President of Guest Services at a resort in Las Vegas, a resort that Isaac happens to be staying in. Their first meeting is comical, they don’t know who the other is but both admire each other and when they meet up again the sparks are that more intensified. What happens after is a read you don’t want to miss. A read with steamy sensual oh my steamy scenes that gave me goosebumps and melted the ice in my glass. A read that had me devouring each page as the independent, always in control Kennedy submits to Isaac the Dom. A read that had me falling in love with both characters as their emotions and feelings flew at me through the pages. A read that didn’t need over the top drama, jealousies, misunderstandings, miscommunications which made the read feel that much more real and felt like I was right there beside them. A read that flowed beautifully w/o missing a beat, a read that left me chuckling with the sass and perfect dialogue between them, a read with an ending that had tears trailing down my cheeks, A read that even though I received an advanced copy, I had to buy to add to my collection from this talented author.
Only for the Moment by Ella Sheridan is yet another amazing read in the If Only, series!
Kennedy is mischievous, fun, and exactly who I want as my best friend. Too bad, she’s fictional. When Kennedy heads to the spa she finds an Aussie rock star to play with. Only, it’s more than that…especially since Kennedy swears she’s not a submissive, yet Isaac has just enough Dom tendencies to make her reconsider.
Isaac Anschau needs some down time to deal with some demons that are holding him back. Meeting Kennedy is exactly what Isaac needs to get his head and heart back in shape, especially since she’s kind of acting as his muse. Kennedy and Isaac are drawn to each other and it’s more than just a few passionate tumbles.
The author never had to persuade me to buy into this couple. I was cheering them on from the beginning. I loved everything about this and would highly recommend the read!
OH man i flew through this book in not even a day. It was amazing I just soaked it up.
Ella is such an amazing writer I had read most of the books in this series and loved every single one.
Isaac oh my what a wonderful character. Strong big tough but struggling with inner demons he refuses to deal with. That is until he meets Kennedy, he knows her brother. The attraction between them is instantanious.
Kennedy fights it so hard, unsure of how to handle everything Isaac wants and needs from a woman. She ends up calling her brother who is into thte same things.
Through this book she struggles so much with not wanting to disapoint him and fighting her being labeled as a sub like she is weak.
Such an amazing story for sure. A must read for anyone into BDSM and some romance.
I will explain this book in two words...freaking fantastic! I picked up my kindle to just start it and ended up finishing the book that night. I could not put it down. Kennedy has always made me laugh and her book was no different. From the very first chapter I knew this was hands-down going to be a hilarious book. Plus there is a sexy Aussie rock star you really can’t go wrong with this book! It was very interesting to see the feisty Kennedy become “not a submissive” (we will say compliant for her sake). Isaac is one hot rock star that sets his sights on Kennedy. The passion between them is hot and the love is a thing of beauty. I would definitely recommend to romance readers or to anyone who is an Ella Sheridan fan, like myself!
Great story! This is a wonderful addition to Ella Sheridan’s If Only series.
Although Isaac is an Australian rock star, he’s no prima-donna and humbled by his current creative slump. Kennedy is a fun, down-to-earth woman. Her mischievous streak is hilarious and Isaac is totally swoon-worthy, and yet also very understanding of Kennedy’s feelings.
Very enjoyable, fun and, without giving the story away, a particular incident from Isaac’s past is dealt with in a very understanding manner. The respectful way the author handles this subject, and how Isaac finally faces his feelings about it, is commendable.
The third book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone with any problems. This is the story of Isaac and Kennedy
Isaac has been working non stop while grieving the death of his best friend. But his grieve has caught up on him. Then he meets Kennedy.
kennedy is strong sassy and not a sub or is she.
What I enjoyed about the book is that is shows a different kind of D/s relationship. Isaac shows Ken that the relationship is what you both want and need. It can be light and full of fun.
What is different about this book is that even though it is funny, romantic and very sexy, it also deals with serious and very current social issues.
I like Isaac because he has heart and he knows what/who he wants, he's all alpha of course but he is also vulnerable. She's his muse, I like her because she is bold and not afraid to stand up for herself. I also like the fact that they communicate with each other, not that they always agree, that's not realistic in any relationship. He is patient and kind to her, he's a sexy temptation she wants to deny, he gives her the power to decide, yeah I like that, lol. A fascinating and informative twist on that lifestyle which was pleasant to read.
Isaac is a famous rock star who is still struggling with the death of his friend by suicide five years ago. Kennedy works at the resort where he's staying before the last concert on his tour. He's a Dom but she doesn't think she's submissive. She thinks being submissive means bending to the will of another and she won't do that. This feels like a slow dance but the story takes place quickly. Her negative internal dialogue about submission got old especially when she was telling herself she wasn't submissive while she was submitting. 3.5 stars
I love music-rock genre stories especially with a little extra naughtiness tossed in. This one was wonderful. So very refreshing to read a story that doesn't involve the seedier side of things... but a story of a hard-working, musician struggling with private pain and a strong-willed, mischievous woman struggling with her deepest desires. I loved that they focused on each other and stood by each other through their struggles. What a lovely, uncomplicated romance.
Only For the Moment is a real winner. I loved the story and the characters. I love Isaac and Kennedy, they are so engaging together. The story was a bit serious and a bit humorous. I do hope Ms. Sheridan gives some of Isaac’s band mates their own stories.
Absolutely loved this series--the characters are well-written and believable. The author immediately draws you in and makes you comfortable with both the setting and then characters. She does an amazing job of writing from both sides of the BDSM lifestyle and mindset--emphasizing the trust factor thoroughly. Cant wait to read more of her books.
This series is steamy, funny, suspenseful, romantic, and steamy once I started reading I could simply not stop until the very end of the last book. The characters are strong both male and female, well done.
Interesting read, both rockstar and bdsm. Add in the bereavement and guilt and it’s a good read. Liked the characters but would have liked more of an ending.
All Kennedy O'Connell wanted was a much needed massage, but she gets much more than that. She is the President of Guest Services at the Sovereign Hotel in Las Vegas. When she enters the only place she can relax and have peace, her jaw drops at the sight of a half naked man on her massage table. She can't stop gawking at him. He is gorgeous built for sin and has the most sexiest tattoo she has ever laid her eyes on. Thank god he does not see her as her face and her body for that matter as they were the color of a blazing fire engine red.
This encounter snowballs into a comedy of errors that makes this story so much fun to read. The hot body that Kennedy drooled over turns out to be Rockstar Isaac Anschau. He has the reputation for particular tastes when it comes to bedroom sports.
Isaac is more than meets the eye. He has buried deep emotions that have followed him for 5 years. He lost someone close and has not come to terms with it. It is coming to a head when he no longer has his artistic mojo and his words are blocked in the sorrow he is feeling. His creative juices have dried up and his career is in jeopardy as a result. He sees hope when he meets Kennedy, She gets a rise out of him in more ways than one. But there is an issue that is restraining their relationship and holding it hostage. He has a Dom side and Kennedy definitely does not want to be a sub for any man. It's a struggle for them both and I found myself reading their story like wildfire to see how everything turned out.
Love, Love, Love. Absolutely make sure you set aside a large chunk of free time when you begin reading Only For The Moment. It is fantastically well written and flows so smoothly that you can't help but get sucked in. It begins with an evil giggle when we have Kennedy, the heroine, go for her weekly massage only to be met with the almost naked flesh of our rock star hero -Isaac- lying unsuspectedly on her table. Smirk- she's truly one ballsy lady:) In almost insta-lust, Isaac and Kennedy connect. There is an element of BDSM in this story but nothing hardcore. Isaac is a Dom ( and really really good with ropes;) who compliments Kennedy's tendencies. The writing is so well done that the foreplay alone between the two main characters is more satisfying than actual sex scenes in other books. It's very hard to get scorchingly hot love scenes that actually feel more than just gratuitous sex - but boy does Ella Sheridan manages to convey not only the panty melting heat but also the true emotions that are building between the characters. This 3rd book in the IF Only series deals mostly with Isaac's struggle to come to terms with a friend's suicide and his subsequent musical and emotional roadblock. Will the snarky and strong Kennedy be able to help Isaac heal and will she discover her own hidden strengths as his sub?? Read the book to find out!!!!! I pre-ordered it instantly for my library. Only For a Moment was a joy to read and I am more than happy to write a review for this ARC book.
