It is set in the Victorian times and during the Prologue we learn about our main character Johnathon Phillips. This is so we can understand why he is the way he is. He lives alone with his mother who harvest fields for a living. He promises to change careers from working with the orphanage to working as a butler with the Smyth family. A sudden death he leaves behind and makes him want to start his new job immediately. He meets everyone at the new place. He also meets their new employed maid as well. At the same time he develops new feelings for their young vulnerable daughter , he learns that the maid likes him. Stabbing love in the back has only made Johnathon dig up the deepest secret of Zelda, their maid. Cursed, the only way Johnathon can break the curse is by learning how to love again.
