This is a very comprehensive and informative audiobook, everything you want to know about Yoga.
I've been wanting to try Yoga for years, but just didn't know where to start, what it was about, etc. Now I have a much better understanding of its meaning and origin, and I'm going to truly give it a go.
There are so many benefits, it seems to Yoga, I think it would benefit just about anyone. Start here, and explore all that Yoga has to offer.
For all of us who are so busy, we need to remember to take a little time to de-stress :) I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
This book has so much information about yoga. Yoga has been a part of my life since I was a child and I would do it with my Mom. I am so happy to have listened to this and was able to learn about the history and different kinds of yoga. This book also has a nice section on different poses. A little bit of everything. I was given this book with the understanding that I would leave an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book. It was really informative on both the history of yoga, the different types of yoga and how yoga can help your mind, your health and your body. I really learnt a lot from it.
This is a better guide for seniors and beginners than books for which I have paid $50. It covers stretch, balance and strength exercises and touches lightly on mental and diet aspects that are adaptable to the lives of most people.
Yoga For Beginners: Your Guide To Master Yoga Poses While Strengthening Your Body, Calming Your Mind And Be Stress Free!: (yoga meditation, yoga book, yoga girl, yoga asanas, yoga bible ) — Emily Oddo (Introduction+6 sections/21 “chapters”) March 26-28, 2020
1. I thought this would be a quicker read than it was. 2. This is a follow along reading for an audiobook.
This is a pretty decent book. I did not download the audiobook, and I understood it pretty well. There were several clicks for buying (or downloading free if you don’t have the) Audible book. But I didn’t want to download the audiobook. It wasn’t worth it for me in that way.
There are several routines to follow in here, but it was about becoming comfortable with Yoga public sessions and being prepared to going to a Yoga class.
At the end of the book was a sample of a book called “Buddha Meditation” [or something like this.] Is it terrible that I found myself spending more time reading that sample?
I read the e-book version and it contains a lot of information, almost too much if you are an absolute beginnner like me.
I liked the suggested prgrams (for strenght, or energy etc) and the food section about the yogi diet.
The downside for me were how the poses were explained. I know it is hard to do but I just dis not get it and I actually had to look up how it’s done using other sources for me to make sense.

Very easy to read and understand. Covers most of the basic principles to begin a practice of yoga. Not intimidating, offers encouragement. Introduces the physical, mental, and spiritual nature of a yogic lifestyle.
