There are some days it just doesn’t pay to get out of bed. My girlfriend kicked me out. Then, even my dog didn’t want me, so he ran away. My boss fired me when I called to let him know I was going to be late. And to put the cherry on top of the crap sundae, I accidentally doused a woman in water who had more followers than brain cells. As if becoming one of the most hated men in Queen City wasn’t bad enough, some lunatic was stalking the popular life coach I had soaked. The fucker should be running from Zoey, not watching, especially with me protecting her. Some fuckers must learn the hard way, and I’m going to be the one to teach him. You don’t mess with anyone who belongs to a Predator. It was a perfect day … until I met Stump. I found a new friend, reached half a million followers, and was on the brink of putting my past behind me when the crazy biker accused me of stealing his dog. To make matters worse, he then blamed me for people hating on him. He did that with no help from me. I don’t blame the dog for running away. I would, too, if I belonged to him. My skills as a life coach don’t work on him. I might not be able to change the irritating Predator, but I’m not above using him to catch the one who wants me dead.

I liked it a lot more the second time I read it. I paid attention to details.
Participation of several characters dear to the reader.
Shade being Shade.
Greer being Greer.
Interesting heroine and conniving hero!

I'm not sure what it's going on but I didn't love Stalked.

I used to love all of Jamie Begley's books but lately, I'm just not falling in love with her main characters.

Stalked is about Zoey and Stump.

Zoey moved to Queen City a few years ago. Her childhood wasn't a perfect one. Her mother was absent and her father moved her too many times to count or remember. Presently, she's a life coach and she loves her work. She keeps her past to herself but she has befriended Grace and Penni who share an office in the same building. When Zoey finds a dog outside the building, she can't leave him alone. She's able to take him in and even though she wants to keep him when the true owner comes forward she relinquishes him.

Stump is a Predator. He loves his brothers in the MC but he's happy he doesn't have an old lady to nag him. He likes his life uncomplicated. Who needs an old lady when you can have a great dog instead?

When Hannibal (his dog) goes missing, Stump is determined to find him. He's on his bike looking for Hannibal and in his haste, he doesn't realize he drenches Zoey with his motorcycle until much later when a stranger tries to hit him with his car. What Stump doesn't know is that Zoey has many followers on social media and when she posted a picture of Stump leaving her soaked, the followers aren't happy and they are going to show Stump their displeasure.

Stalked had some of the humor that I have come to expect from Jamie Begleys' books. It's always nice to see the Last Riders popping in for a cameo. Greer and Shade were both awesome in this book.

I liked Zoey. She had a way to see the positive in people and in this world. She was sweet, caring and a good friend to Penni and Grace. I'm just not sure what she saw in Stump.

Stump was rude, called her names and never liked to apologize to Zoey. But, my main problem is the execution of his profession of love towards Zoey. No man should do it under those circumstances. It just felt wrong and disrespectful to me.

I was also not happy with the rushed ending. I felt like they were too many unanswered questions in this one.

I don't know. I missed the earlier Last Rider's books.

Cliffhanger: No

"Stalked" is the story of Zoey and Stump.

The book has the grumpy-sunshine trope embedded in it. Our heroine is the kindest, sweetest woman with a very sad backstory. Every chapter begins with a heartbreaking letter to her mother. When she rescues a lost dog, she never expects it to lead her to the Predators MC club, or its very possessive owner. Stump is extremely rude and jealous, and takes pleasure in verbally hurting her. That is until, she realizes she's being stalked and the whole MC club gets involved.

The first half was very enjoyable. How she got on his nerves yet stayed true to herself was fun to read. The second half, his abrupt love confession right after he was with OW- as a matter of fact every time he felt something for the heroine he turned to OW, and later even abandoned the heroine. Zoey was too forgiving IMO, someone should have kicked his ass.

Stalked was the fourth book in Jamie Begley’s Predator’s MC series.

This was a tough one for me to review. I love an MC read and I love a suspenseful romantic plot. Stalked had all three but I had a tough time connecting.

Stump (not my favorite name) was a member of the Predator’s MC. During a horrendous day - where it was raining, his girlfriend broke up with him, his dog got loose and he was fired from his job - he soaked an unsuspecting lady, Zoey, with a water spray from his motorcycle. Unfortunately for him, the quirky and eccentric Zoey, tweeted about it and he became a social media target.

Begley fully developed the characters and storyline, but I had a difficult time relating to both Zoey and Stump. I struggled with feeling the chemistry and love between them. Additionally, there were quite a few editing errors that were hard to overlook. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the suspenseful plot that Begley created and it’s what kept me intrigued and entertained. No spoilers here, but there were several layers to the mystery Begley weaved. And as disheartening as it was, I enjoyed the creativity she used in unraveling Zoey’s past.

In the end, it was a quick and suspenseful read mixing several MC clubs and series. With the conclusion of Stalked, Begley provided an intriguing segue for continuing the series with the next (currently unnamed) book.

This review may have some spoilers, because I just can't review without mentioning what's bothered me. I tried to be abstract, but not sure if I got it. So, if you don't wanna spoilers stop reading after stars. Just now in all it was pretty good read for me. Stump and Zoey they had their own charm. And it was nice to not only meet Predators again, but The Last Riders and even Porter.

☆☆☆☆☆

I was confused about Zoey abilities. And if you meet Porters, you know what I'm talking about. I love those twists in books. But concidering what Zoey can do, you would think she can recognise the true people behind the mask. Sometimes she got it, sometimes she was blindsided. I didn't get it. Maybe it just me?
Stump was just typical Predator or even TLR. Trying to ingore/pretend/escape/fight his feelings for h. And there was moment, when I think needed a bit of work. Meaning it was just too fast change from 'I'm attracted. But it wouldn't last long' to 'I love you'. Stump said he was trying to show her how he felt for a month and half, and maybe if this was shown instead of told, I may felt different about the change.
And his plan with Shades help related to Zoey... It needed elaboration, because I wasn't sure about it. I mean I got an idea, what it was about, but it just needed more, because it felt, like I walked in the middle of theirs talk.
Stalker... He was ok, well, not ok, but you know what I mean lol, until we got to his reasons for stalking Zoey. And that was confusing to me too. It felt like a base for another book and I understand when authors do it and love it, but in this case it just felt like unfinished business at the end.

Escape into My Reads Book Blog ➳ Raj

The first chapter of Stalked started off with a bang and I was hooked, but my excitement soon dwindled as I continued reading and felt like I had to force myself to finish a Jamie Begley book.

So little was known about Stump from the previous Predator books and I was interested to get to know him better, but I came away after I finished reading like I still learnt nothing about his character, his past or his family life. As Zoey’s character was new I couldn’t get that invested in her at first as the connection was missing, but afterwards I liked her and could empathise with her pain and need to help others. I think with the book being dropped out of the blue that also dampened the excitement for this release on top of not expecting Stump to have a story to tell. I think I would have preferred for Moon’s book to have been released before Stump’s, but I think this book was a filler for another character's future storyline and I can say I 'am very excited to see that happen as I love that character.

I felt like this book was underdeveloped and lacked depth to the characters lives and left many questions unanswered, like a puzzle uncompleted due to the raw jigsaw pieces refusing to gel together. I loved that we got more Penni and Jackal but I kept having questions at the back of my mind, like who the hell looked after their daughter Wylie whilst Penni was at work, and Jackal was with the Predators?! I found questions like this holding me back with the story and I was unable to focus on the words in front of me, I mean it’s the little details that add to the character’s lives and delivers a much richer story. I mean we didn’t even get a scene with their daughter which added to the disappointment of this book. There was also lot of characters in Stalked to get familiar with and the constant reuse of the same C/G letter for a character added to confusion, and made it difficult to connect to their individuality.

I felt that Stump’s hating Zoey one minute to loving her unbelievable. I could understand that he knew what he was looking for in a woman and that he was selective but JB failed to show the stages of how he fell in love with her. Chapter 18 all I’m going to say is I was upset for Zoey and mad as hell at her for the lack of self-respect and non-existent reaction she showed to what she came upon. Seriously I wish JB would please stop writing these scenes of weak women who are too accepting/forgiving of the men’s hurtful actions. It’s overdone and I am so over it.

My favorite parts of the book belong to Roo/Buster aka Hannibal the daschund dog, who proudly wore Stump’s property patch lol! His scenes were so hilarious and JB as always knows how to deliver humour to her stories. I also loved Greer’s scenes who was his usual cocky annoying self, and Creed really interested me!

I love your work JB but please for the sake of fans read our reviews and take them into consideration, because poor editing continues to be unaddressed or corrected with each new release, and I totally don’t get why, like seriously why? This influences me to rate the book low, and spoils the read when words are missing to complete the sentence, or the wrong name is used like one minute its Cole then its Colt. I just don’t understand the logic of why mistakes are not picked up by your beta readers/editor, or if you have them. I want quality over quantity every time.

The epilogue yeah I actually cried, it was emotional and beautiful but before I could really capture all of those joyful feelings of a reunion for Zoey, JB cut it off and lost a damn star in rating! This isn’t the first time JB has ruined an epilogue for me, I just don’t understand why as an author she wouldn’t capitalize on delivering an epic epilogue that did the characters justice, and finished a book strong leaving fans happy instead of cutting off/not including scenes and leaving them disappointed and making me feel like the whole story I read was worthless.

This about sums up all my feelings and thoughts about Stalked...

The ending felt flat. The book was a solid four star until I couldn't find another page to turn. Pretty mad at having gone a long with all those childish letters all throughout the book to have them mean "not enough" got a star removal. Very vengeful of me but I'll give you a thank you for sweet cover model....

Hmmm?!?

I absolutely adore Jamie’s book, but this is my least liked book out of all her books it felt rushed and the plot was lacking. Usually her books make me feel a tone of emotion but this one wasn’t like that it just felt like it was missing something. Very disappointed!

Zoey annoyed me through about 85% of the book. I don’t know why but heroines like Zoey and Shade’s Lily bore me and make me want to roll my eyes until they roll out of my head and across the floor. Too “goody-goody”. Too “pure”. Too “kooky” (Predators’ word). Zoey was almost TSTL when it came to her stalker. It’s just hard for me to see Zoey’s appeal to Stump. Why was everyone so maniacally angry in the beginning chapters? Stump was pissed off at everybody he came into contact with. Seriously, why was he angry over a slut “leaving him”? Grace and Penni were shrews. I seriously don’t see any tough MC officer guy (particularly the president) allowing his wife to lead him around by the dick in front of other people. I wish we’d know if Cole’s condition improved after, you know. Also, I cannot believe this book ended without “the big reveal”!!!!! WTF?!?!!!! WHY?!?!!!

On a different note, anyone else find the cover model looks like Jake Gyllenhaal?

Zoey the kook

Stump thinks Zoey is a crazy kook, however when her life is in danger they grow closer and love comes. They never did catch the guy though. It was nice to see all the characters again including Greer!

Zoey's life has formed her into who and what she is now. A life coach, Zoey believes a cup is half full and there is always a positive, even in the worst case scenario. Prime example is when she's drenched on her way to work by a motorcyclist. Her take is that at least she wasn't hit by the motorcycle. Yes, life has it's ups and downs but focusing on the positive is her mantra.

Stump is in a panic (though he'd never admit it) when his dog Hannibal escapes forcing him to search for him in the rain. Finally having to give up on his search, Stump's shows up to his job only to find out he's been fired for being late and getting some chick wet. If that's not enough, random people are stopping him, blaming him for upsetting some blog chick for something he has no idea he did. Whatever.

Life isn't done with these two when a situation forces the two into close contact per orders of Stumps MC President, Ice. Apparently a stalker is threatening Zoey's safety and Stump is to be her bodyguard/protector.

Why should an MC club get involved in Zoey? Two of Zoey's half million follows happen to include MC members wives who have made it known that THEY care.

* *

As an MC club series I grabbed this book looking for a good karma is a b*tch sort of read. Of course I read the "sample" before one click but that was enough to hook me and the rest is history.

OK. Different take on MC life in that a biker becomes public enemy #1 because of a life coach blogger post. For this reason I wanted to tag the overall story with "romantic comedy" but there was a running subplot of darkness as the author gives the reader an ongoing glimpse of the pain Zoey experienced in her childhood to to the present time line. Whiplash of sorts for me between the two.

The two main characters. Zoey is a saccharin sweet optimistic sort of character who I had a hard HARD time relating to while Stump was a grumpy biker who I could relate to but had character inconsistencies that were problematic. I totally get the premise of opposites attract that I think the author was going for but in my world, in my reality, nope. These sort of characters and these sort of character attributes don't act or behave this way. End result. I wasn't a fan of either.

Romance between the two did evolve into adult content scenes, but, in my opinion, would have been better served if the author had gone to "fade to black" format. Authors who choose to include adult content scenes need to fully commit if they're going this route as choppy or brief shock and awe bedroom action are depressing.

Secondary characters. Characters from previous installments do return in varying degrees of participation. Does this mean this story cannot be read as a stand alone? Honestly, I'm of the mind this is a stand alone as long as the reader is ok not to know the back stories of those characters.

As for the elephant in the room. This is a romantic mystery-suspense-thriller sort of read that includes two separate subplots for the reader to ponder. #1 has to do with Zoey's past and present. As I'm a non spoiler reviewer I can't say much more. #2 has to do with Zoey's stalker. Again. Not much to say without spoiler info, so. My thoughts about both are my own and I own it when I say that neither made sense or worked when I got to the ending. Serious concerns regarding my own ongoing debate on self perceived inconsistencies and lack of world building with a lack of evidence towards the final reveal scenes. Further, the reveals themselves were rushed, condensed, and wrapped up too conveniently. Everyone loves a HFN or HEA ending but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be a natural progression/twisty curve ball/climatic for the reader to realize.

Further, a lack of editing in regards to grammar and even using wrong character names in certain scenes were problematic. I'm not one to hold a few errors against an author so when I do notice them, and start to get irritated by them, yup, it's a problem.

I'm not a fan of this story for more reasons than I can go into. I'm actually not sure if this is the end of this one as, for me, there are still open ended aspects that weren't resolved. Once again though I see I'm in the minority in regards to my feelings about this story but that IS the beauty of reading in general.

I'm not sure how to rate this book it didn't feel like a Jamie Begley book. This was to be Stumps story and I still feel like I don't know him. This felt like a rushed book just to put something out there and set up next book. No connection with Stump and Zoey. I really had to force myself to finish. Somethings in the book made no sense and some left unfinished. I have to go with 3 stars, I would have waited longer for a book that we know Jamie can write instead of doing a book that just felt like a filler book. I think it was to early for Stumps book, we needed to know more about him first.

ETA: I changed the rating to two stars when I realized that at "Book Complete" I still didn't know who the stalker was. Did I just tune it out or was the whole thing just so confusing I didn't catch it? Maybe.

I just really don't know what to say about this book. It's certainly different than any other book I've read by this author and I've read them all. I'm really stretching it to a 3 star. I guess that's because I'm such a JB fan girl. I could list a long list of things I didn't like but I'm gonna be nice.

I liked it. It’s definitely different to her other books. Zoey is different to any other female character Jamie has written. She grew up with a father who mentally abused her and did not have a mother. This has made her grateful for the simple things in life but also guarded against loving anything afraid she would eventually lose them. I’m not a huge fan of the Predator I usually only read their story while I’m waiting for LR, but I did enjoy this. I didn’t quite get Zoey and Stump chemistry till the last 20%. They are a great couple though. I feel Jamie may have rushed this a little as it had a few writing mistakes not enough to be annoying though. The epilogue wasn’t enough for me, I needed more and she usually rocks epilogue.

I have never written a review before, but I feel the need today. I have all of Jamie Begley's books. I have enjoyed them all. This being said, Stalked left me scratching my head. It seemed as if she was so busy trying to include so many former characters that she left much of the story between Stump and Zoey on the table. Many chapters were devoted to other characters and had no bearing on their relationship. I would have loved more of Stump helping her find her true family and the story of that. Even the hints of Ginnie's book were so disjointed that you felt as if you were missing pages of the story. This being said, I will read Ginnie's book and hope it does not ramble as this one did.

Stalked (Predators MC #4) by Jamie Begley

I've read many books belonging to most of Jamie's MC Series, I absolutely love her writing style and the stories from each series. I love the fact that they cross over and you get to catch up with other characters from other books. In saying that I have to say that this book ended up becoming one of my favorite stories. It was one of the books you start to read and you can't put down till you reach the very end.

If you’re a romance reader who happens to loves sexy, domineering, controlling, bad mouth men who belong to a Motorcycle Club then you definitely need to read all of Jamie Begley MC based books.

Stalked is a story of woman and man who don't start off liking each other much, but when Zoey is in danger Stump is there. There is so much more to this book, is a must read, but then again I believe all her books should be read.

I have rated Stalked 5 stars and defiantly cannot wait to read more in this series.

Zoey and Stump's story... It took me way to long to start this book, I don't know why but I've been hesitant to return to Jamie Begley's stories... I'm happy I did because this one was better that Hostage, so that's good! It was slow-paced, which I liked but the paranormal element was off, the whole scene left like a filler... but whatever...

yeah spoiler because this was such a waste of time

Another review mentioned how when the main male character said he loved the female character they didn’t approve of his timing or that it was too stupid of a time to him do it. I absolutely agree. Yells out he loves her after she sees a naked woman in his bed! This book was not ruined until 70%. I don’t know who I am more angry at the male character or the female character! So after spending all this time together with her and slowly changing his life because if the time spent with her, instead of talking to her about the fact that he wants to have a relationship he just goes with what she had said about wanting to be celibate and not drink alcohol. Instead of telling her I love you and do you have any feelings for me instead he abruptly quits his job protecting her which was really more of a excuse for him to be around her even if she was in danger, and instead of having that conversation he quits abruptly and decides to screw a club girl. Yes at 70% of the book. They had only had one kiss at 70%. But they had gotten very close. So in my opinion he’s a scum. And unredeemable. Because what happens next is when the female character realizes that he quit she decides to confront him and find out why face-to-face and of course she finds the club girl in his bed obviously after a night of sex. Instead of being upset and leaving an awkward situation she stays there to ask him the stupidest question ever why didn’t you go running with me this morning duh there’s a naked girl in his bed he just slept with. And here comes the big love confession I quit because I love you I quit because blah blah blah blah blah. So at that point did she confront him about the fact that rather than have a conversation he slept with a club girl? No she totally says oh my God that’s awesome do you really wanna wait for me and until I’m ready to have sex and he’s like yeah I love you. Really? If he was was willing to wait for her until she was ready to have sex he would’ve done that and had that conversation before going to sleep with someone simply because it’s been a long time since he had slept with somebody. Yes buddy you just got your rocks off so of course you’ll wait for her now!!!! It’s not like it was her religion not to have sex it was just her choice in life. So there was no uptight religious value. So she acted oblivious and seemed like she was OK with him sleeping with the club girl and then ticking her cheek affectionately while professing his love for her while as a reader you know where that hand has been…….. and at this point I think this is a do not finish for me because I’m so angry at both characters. I should’ve known that this book was not gonna be any good after the first book had the main male character screw a girl on a pool table after a date with the love of his life who was a virgin and wanted to take their relationship show. Obviously this author has truly low opinions of women’s value and respect boundaries related to sex. Men should be allowed to cheat with club hos because “decent” women don’t give it up quick enough and then women have to forgive them because the men love them right????. I’ve read some of her last riders books and that’s only when I’m looking for some junk food for the brain because the way she treats sex and women’s values within that type of relationship are really degrading. Sex can be empowering women can be powerful within that arena of sex. Not for her females….. female characters are always cheated on and yet always have to accept it and be doormats. I don’t think I’ll ever read another one of this authors books again.

I am not sure how to write this review. I’ve always loved Jamie’s books, but this one didn’t really do it for me.

Stump was not my favorite Predator and that is saying something because Ice, Max and Jackal were no princes. He just seemed to be in a perpetual grumpy mood and couldn’t show his emotions for Zoey maturely. I did love how he loved his dog, Hannibal and the way he kept chasing after him. Zoey was kind but I felt she lived in imaginary world at times but she did fit in with the old ladies. I will say I felt like there was a character dump from the Predators to the Porters to the Last Riders, there were so many I couldn’t keep them straight. I guess what I’m trying to say is this book was less about Zoey and Stump and more about being a filler and setup for Ginny’s book.

Stop now Spoilers below:

For one thing there is no romantic connection between Stump and Zoey until we hit 60% into the book. Stump and Zoey’s relationship is completely different than any of the other couples we have ever read. Stump was a complete buttmole to Zoey and continued to be for a very long time. Then suddenly he’s in love with her and instead of doing the mature thing, he decides to manipulate her. I didn’t understand his reasoning at all and that whole moment in his room in the club was kind of disturbing. He never told or expressed his feelings for her and thought it best to use Crush to get Zoey to understand what he wanted.

The other thing was the stalker, who wasn’t even Zoey’s stalker. I believe the whole stalker situation was a setup for Ginny’s book. I would like to see how that storyline goes because we get no conclusion in this book.

Now for Cole, I wonder where that’s going to go; Penny’s idea for Greer and Rachel was very intriguing.

Storyline was kind of all over the place. Stump was sappy and easily manipulated. Loved Zoey's back story though. Very emotional. And I always love a Shade cameo.

No... Just no. Not even Shade and Greer could save this book. I'm still unsure if JB even wrote this. Its NOTHING like her other books. I'm quite suspicious unless someone gives me the down low. I could care less about these two characters. ESPECIALLY Zoey. Killyama just moved to my number 2 of disliked heriones from this series. Zoey's awful. Bossy, uppity, pathetic. Self centered even though she's trying to always preach to the people with her self help BS. Didn't even give two shits about her background, and that's saying something. I'm sorry I strongly disliked this character 😂. It makes absolutely zero sense why Stump would be with someone like her. I was looking forward to his book, but was let down tremendously. Yikes 😬. Can't win them all. Seriously not even sure what the point of this book was. I'm guessing to get more Ginny time 🤷.

In ending this review and my apologies to JB, but I wish the stalker would have taken Zoey out. Please don't come at me 🙈😂. Also, all The Last Rider's need to stay away from The Predators MC. They're losing their coolness 😐

I have been a big fan of JB series The Last Riders and the Predators MC, her books went from 5 stars with amazing characters to this one which was ehhh. Her characters are becoming wimps and afraid of their wifes - what happened to the predators in book 1? Its almost like someone else wrote this book and Jamie put her name on it. Very disappointed and I may not continue to series.. Portions were left hanging, why all the "letters" to her mom that she never mailed, portions were out of order and I won't even go into the editing errors.... I suggest you save your money.

H was rude to her. ow after meeting h. Led h to believe he was with ow after spending weeks with her. She admitted her feelings and he did as well. I would have said no because if you loved me you wouldn’t have slept with Crush. She never was told that the morning she caught them in bed it was a set up. I didn't get the unsolved stalker thing. Obviously Ginny will get a book.

I really enjoyed this book. Jamie Begley really knows how to write asshole men lol. They all have been assholes but like all her other books when the men fall in love they show a side to them that they never showed before and Stump was no different. Zoey was a little peculiar but she had a past that I didn’t expect. And I really enjoyed reading their story.

Definitely not my favorite book in the Predators series. (Seems like no one will be able to top Ice & Grace's story, Riot.)

Overall, the book left me with a "meh" kind of feeling. I liked certain parts of it but it wasn't unputdownable or exciting... it was sort of forgettable.

*****COULD BE SLIGHTLY SPOILER-ISH*****

One of the major problems for me... There was no sizzle factor. Plain & simple, Stump & Zoey lacked chemistry. I liked them as friends but wasn't convinced that they made a great match, romantically speaking.

Stump- I liked how blunt he was with people & that he hung out as friends with Zoey for a month or so (although we hardly got any details on it) but geez... His train of thought seemed to go from "Man, this chick is an annoying kook" to "I wanna make love with the woman I love" in two seconds flat. I did love learning the real meaning behind his nickname though. It makes him a bit sexier in my mind. Can we say role-playing fantasy, please?

Zoey- I liked that she was a bit "out there" & she was sweet but I didn't feel a strong connection with her character. The living with monks thing explains some scenes but had me rolling my eyes too. And for heaven's sake, if your man was in bed with another woman & her hands & naked boobs were all over him, please make him disinfect himself before you let him touch you!

What I wasn't expecting but really liked:
*Ginny- Although her part in the story left a BIG plot line in cliffhanger mode, I was thrilled to bits to get so much of her in this book. Her new job & that plot line cliffhanger are already weaving her back in with The Last Riders! YAY!! Can't wait to see her back in Treepoint & the moment she meets her love interest! Hoping it's... *zips lips*
*Greer- He is ALWAYS a scene-stealer in each book he appears in & this book was no different. Although I was supremely upset with Penni & Zoey for putting him in the position they did, I was happy to see him in Queen City because he is such an AMAZING character. Disappointed that we didn't learn about the outcome of what he did though...
*Creed- This new-to-us Predator was pretty intriguing. Hoping we hear more about him in the future!

What I needed but didn't get:
*Better editing- The amount of incorrect words, wrong verb tenses & jumbled-up names was very distracting. It's "splayed legs", not "spayed legs". It's "he nudged her", not "her nudged her". It's Jackal, not Jakal & it's Cole, not Colt.
*Baby news- Didn't get it for my favorite couple in the Predators series & got confirmation that my favorite couple in The Last Riders series wasn't expecting yet either. Grr...
*More of Dalton Andrews, Grace's dad- It was stated on social media that he will be getting a book in 2018 but with not even a mention of him in this book, I'm left wondering if that'll even happen...
*Hot sex- The scene we got between Stump & Zoey was awkward & seemed more clinical than sexy. Even the one scene with Stump & a club wh*re was lacking. (See creamy p*ssy note below too.) I'm a greedy b*tch. I wanted quantity AND quality. :)

What I got but didn't want:
*That weird Shade & Stump set-up- Didn't understand that one bit. It wasn't necessary, so why do it? Just because it gives Shade an extra scene, doesn't mean it should be in the book.
*The term creamy p*ssy- The word creamy should NEVER be used to describe a p*ssy. In no way is that sexy. It makes it sound like the girl has an infection down there.

While Stalked won't be a regular on my Jamie Begley re-read rotation, it IS a must-read for fans of the entire Last Riders/VIP/Biker Bitches/Predators/Porter saga. If you don't know all the details in this one, chances are you'll be confused when the next book releases!

My heart is officially broken!
I have no words, all I can say is this novel wasn't for me at all.
But as I say all the time, it's nearly impossible to love every single book an author puts out into the world.

Stalked is the fourth book in the Predators MC series and it is the twenty third book in Jamie Begley's reading order. This is Stump and Zoey's story and can be read as a standalone but is better read by series order.

The Predators MC Series has been one of my favorite things to come from Jamie Begley. I loved all of these beefed up Motorcycle driving troublesome studs. But sadly this stud didn't do anything for me.

I'm not going to make any sense throughout this review because I honestly have no words. Let's just say I felt this novel was hot and cold. One minute I'm invested and all in and then the very next second I'm bored as bones. It was a give and take type story. I felt the pace of this novel was incredibly slow in some instances and rushed in others. There was absolutely no inbetween.

The one saving Grace was Zoey. I loved the positive aura that flowed through her character. She was the only thing that kept me interested in this novel.

I did not like Stump at all. He was a complete asshole. But to be honest, I found myself skipping through chapters and I know I missed a bunch of information where their relationship is concerned.

I guess you can say I ultimately dnf'd this novel. I have no clue what is going on. Stalked is the only book in the entire Jamie Begley reading order that threw me off. This one was a definite no go for me.
