Madness is sweeping through Cougar Creek, and Flint wants no part of it. The fever has two of his brothers in love already, and Flint is damned if he’s giving up the bachelor life to tie himself to one female, but when a perimeter sweep has him running into an exotic and enthralling beauty who rouses his instincts as a cougar shifter and a male, the hunt is on.
All Yasmin is interested in is making sure her friend, Ivy, is safe, but the alluring black-haired man with a wicked smile she meets on the path to the creek has her thinking about other things. When an incident at Cougar Creek leads to her revealing a secret, and Flint’s persistence pushes her to a rash decision, her entire world is in danger of being turned upside down.
With the gathering in full swing, and males determined to prove their worth to Yasmin, Flint discovers he’s not immune to the madness sweeping through the creek, because he’ll do whatever it takes to claim victory and win Yasmin’s heart… no matter how dangerous it is.

Courted by her Cougar is book three in the Cougar Creek Mates series by Felicity Heaton. It can read as a stand alone, but also can be read after Claimed by her Cougar.
Heaton takes us into the lovely Canadian woods with a bunch of cougar shifters who will soon be getting together for the pride gathering.
Yasmin has come looking for her friend, Ivy, who is featured in Claimed by her Cougar. She want’s to make sure her friend is safe. The author treats us to a surprise as to what Yasmin is. We all think she’s human, but we soon learn differently.
Flint is a hot head and a love’em and leave’em kind of guy. He’s watched his two older brothers fall in love and bond with their life mates, but that’s not for him, not until he meets Yasmin.
Yasmin and Flint are instantly attracted to each other, but they both fight it. Yasmin because Flint is only after a one night stand and him because he’s scared of his feelings. Their romance’s has a little conflict in that a courting challenge has been issued. Yasmin accepted even though she didn’t know what it entailed and so the challenges and courting being.
Courted by her Cougar is a quick read. I enjoyed the book and am looking forward to the next in the series.

Courted by her Cougar is the third book in the Cougar Creek Mates series by Felicity Heaton. Although part of a series it can be read as a standalone.
Flint is a Cougar shifter. He's recently watched as two of his brothers have fallen in love and bonded with their life mates. He doesn't ever want to fall in love, he's a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy. That is until he meets Yasmin.
Yasmin is a good friend of Ivy, the woman who Flint's brother Rath married. Since they have to keep safe from humankind the cougars live safely in the mountains away from those that would want to hunt them. As far as Yasmin is concerned she wants to see for herself that her friend is OK after seemingly falling off the map.
Yasmin and Flint have an instant attraction one they both try to fight, her because he is obviously only after a one night stand, and him because he is scared of his feelings. But in the end, he can't stop the way he feels and has to enter into challenges to prove he is better than the other shifters who are vying to court her. Will he even survive the challenges to win her heart?
This book was an absolutely fantastic one. From the very first page to the last I couldn't read quickly enough to see what would happen. I love the setting of the place, I love the fact that Yasmin is more than she seems. I love the attraction between Yasmin and Flint and how the passionate scenes between them are scorching hot and yet so romantic. The challenges that Flint has to face and the fights were so detailed that I could almost picture them. Kind of glad I couldn't, it might have been a bit gruesome! I loved this book, found no fault at all with it, and I one 100% recommend it.
Headline Review: 5 stars - The fire ignites in this cold Flint!
As the tag line says, Courted by her Cougar is Book 3 in the highly addictive Cougar Creek Mates paranormal romance series by author Felicity Heaton.
I have to confess, this is the one I’ve been waiting for. Make no bones about it, Flint is my favourite *holds hands up* There, I’ve said it. *blows out breath* Oh, that’s feels better, lol.
“Why?” You may ask. Well, I don’t know about you, but the ones where the hero is determined not to succumb to those pesky things called feelings are always the most enjoyable to ‘watch’ falling on their derrières *snorts*
Flint’s story is all that and more. This instalment was full of surprises for me. It was gritty, real, and very raw. My heart was most definitely in my mouth on occasion. I felt as if I was right there *points finger* as events unfolded. Although being there for certain situations *coughs* was a tad embarrassing *whistles*
With ‘The Gathering’ in full swing, we bear witness to several of the Cougars antiquated and archaic traditions. It’s not easy trying to read with your eyes covered because you’re getting a tad squeamish. Whaaa? I have a delicate constitution, don’t you know? *smirks*
I’m scared to say too much about Yasmin, but suffice it to say, she doesn’t suffer fools gladly. She can definitely hold her own, but also has a sweet vulnerability, as her back story is revealed. Scared to let anyone close, her emotional defences are high and it’ll take a strong heart to scale these walls. I know just the man, don’t you?
CoBHC was everything I want in a great PNR read. I am one satisfied reader at the moment.
Last up is Colbalt. I think I’m going to need to don my big girl panties for this one, and have the emergency box of tissues and chocolates handy. I just have a feeling...
This story is the third book in a new shifter series called Cougar Creek Mates Shifter Romance Series, which is an offshoot of the Eternal Mates series (which I love) and based in the same world.
Flint is an interesting character, and I liked him a lot. He has watched two of his siblings become struck with madness (his term for falling in love) and wants no part in it himself. All he wants is to get through the gathering and get back to his life away from the others. Unfortunately, fate has other plans, and when he meets Yasmin, his life gets a lot more complicated.
Yasmin is an intriguing character. I liked her a lot too. She is a doctor and Ivy's friend, though she has a secret of her own. Determined to make sure her friend is okay, she makes her way to Cougar Creek, where she meets Flint and sparks fly. Unfortunately, she makes a quick decision which leads to dangerous consequences.
I began reading this story, told through both Flint's and Yasmin's points of view and quickly became hooked. The action is intense from the start. As this is a novella rather than a novel, I think the author did an excellent job in extending the time the characters got to know each other in this book compared to the first book in the series, though I am still not a fan of insta-love. There is more than one big fight scene (which I won't go into due to spoilers) that I enjoyed; this is one thing I love about this author's writing - her descriptions of action, in particular fight or battle scenes are extremely exciting. It is also lovely to meet the other characters once more. Yasmin's secret, when revealed - though there is foreshadowing written cleverly from the start, the reader is left thinking 'Of course! That makes sense'. I am now looking forward to reading Cobalt's story soon.
Felicity Heaton has written another fast-paced, sexy paranormal romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. I love her fast-paced writing style, which flows effortlessly from scene to scene. She is still on top of my favourite author's list.
I do not recommend this book to younger readers due to the extremely HOT and explicit sexual scenes. However, I highly recommend this book (and series) if you love sexy paranormal romances full of cat shifters and other paranormal species. - Lynn Worton
Action, tension, steam, a HUGE secret, and a happy ending. This book was SO cool to read! What I loved the most was the originality of the story and characters.
The HUGE secret (which I shall not spoil!) was revealed within the first half of the book, and it was a total "WHOA!" moment. Being a jaded book blogger, I actually got a little giddy at how exciting it was to read something so different, and I loved how that uniqueness was a recurring theme throughout.
Let me tell you; if you've never read one of Felicity's action scenes, you must!!! Not the "wink-wink" action scenes, although those are off-the-charts, too. I mean the knock-down, drag-out, edge-of-your-seat "I feel like I'm THERE" fight scenes. Be warned, though, descriptive fight scenes also include descriptive injuries, and Yasmin is a doctor, so I got a very thorough crash course in medical training.
And Flint was HOT. I love all of the heroes in these books, how protective they get over their women. And yes, I feel it's hot and fine and I prefer that the hero protect the heroine when needed.
I am THRILLED to read Cobalt's book! The brooding, loving-her-from-afar scenario was set up so beautifully in this book, I am ECSTATIC!
(I was given a copy of this book in consideration of my honest thoughts)
I loved Flints statement at the beginning of this book, he proclaimed he wasn't gonna fall into the madness his brothers had, when as readers we know full well his gonna fall hard lol.
Flint is a likable brother, I rather liked the sound of his own home set up, his only visiting for the 'season'.
Yasmin is looking for her friend, she knows where she is and will not be scared off by the big and burly man telling her to go away.
Flint is drawn to Yasmin, as much as he tries to keep away. It's the cougar's heat season and there are lots of men sniffing around Yasmin.
There are some good fight scenes in this book. The pull between the fated ones comes across well - as it always does with this authors books, and I really liked Yasmin not being quite what she first appears.
Another enjoyable and easy to read shifter romance.
I think this was my favorite so far in this series. Flint was a playboy who refused to fall for the mating craze his brothers did, until he meets Yasmin. His playboy ways come back to bite him when she wants nothing to do with him. Its funny to see the dynamic between these two as Flint tries to flirt with her. Her secret is an epic one, and I was pretty excited by it. It was definitely different, and I didn't even know that race existed in this universe. There was great action throughout the book, and the bedroom scenes were HOT. I wish we could have seen what happened to the "bad guy" in the end (although he wasn't really a bad guy, just a jerk). Overall, this book is definitely worth reading and I can't wait for the next one.
Courted by her Cougar (Cougar Creek, #3) by Felicity Heaton is an enthralling paranormal shifter romance that can easily be read as a stand alone. This book is on point. Check, check, and check. A sexy shifter and an alluring beauty fill the pages of this hard-to-put-down story. There is plenty of interest and excitement as the gathering commences and a courting challenge is issued. I can't get enough of Flint and Yasmin and how perfectly they play off one another. This book is an effortless read that I highly recommend. I can also suggest this author's Eternal Mates Series.
One of my favorite writers of paranormal yumminess. Ms. Heaton and her newest Series that promises to a set of amazing stories. The Cougar Creek Mates and the latest release "courted by her cougar" Keeps to the storyline about brothers and their changing lives.
Flint thinks his brothers has lost their minds settling down with one, when there are so many others. A trap to be sure that he will avoid at all costs.
Yasmin is all about in your face I don't need that kinda male and pretty much backs up her sass with a shocking come back. She has no use for one night stands or the males who only offers the one-shot deal. Oh and she has a wee little surprise of her own.
When tempers and sass combine its a total spark of chemistry gets them into a whole new set of oh boys' It was fun watching Flint come to terms, as well as watching Yasmin stand up to the quite stubborn male. I didn't quite feel the heat with Flint/Yasmin as I did the others but the story detail, the fight scenes were a lot of fun to read. The main characters just felt a smidge disconnected. Cool cover as well the perfect length. Enjoy
This is the third book in this Cougar Creek Mates series and this time we get Flint's story and wow what a story we get.
Flint has watched his two older brothers fall in love and bond with their true mates, during the gathering, but that’s not for him, not until he meets Yasmin.
There is an instant attraction between Yasmin and Flint, but they are both fighting it. Yasmin knows Flint's type and doesn't want to be a one night stand. And Flint is scared and doesn't understand these knew feelings. But also he feels that Yasmin is hiding something from everyone!!
Their romance has a little conflict in that a courting challenge has been issued. Yasmin accepted even though she didn’t know what it entailed and so the challenges and courting being.
Will he risk everything for her!!
And will everyone accept Yasmin when they find out what she is hiding!!

REVIEW This is brother Flint's story and wow an explosive story we get. Flint never wanted more than one night with any woman. This gathering had two of his brothers finding mates and falling in love he wanted no parts of it. Alas, the fates see things their way when a friend of Ivy' shows up and she is much more than he bargained for and now he risks it all for her?
Grab a copy and find out. I love this series so far but this is my favorite one.

REVIEW: COURTED BY HER COUGAR is the third instalment in Felicity Heaton’s contemporary, adult COUGAR CREEK MATES paranormal, romance series focusing on the cougar shifters of Cougar Creek, Canada. This is cougar shifter Flint, and physician/healer Yasmin Dubois’s story line. COURTED BY HER COUGAR can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. The Cougar Creek Mates series is a spin-off from the author’s Eternal Mates series. It is not necessary to have read the previous series but there is an on-going premise throughout with the inclusion of the group known as Archangel.
Told from dual third person perspectives (Yasmin and Flint) COURTED BY HER COUGAR picks up immediately following the events of book two-Captured by Her Cougar- wherein Yasmin comes to Cougar Creek in search of her friend Ivy (Claimed by Her Cougar) whom she believes may be in danger. While the ‘gathering’ at Cougar Creek continues to gain momentum as the unmated males battle for the unclaimed females, Yasmin’s presence and eventually her pride pushes cougar shifter Flint to fight for the woman he claims as his own. What ensues is the acrimonious relationship between Yasmin and Flint, as Yasmin’s secrets are about to be exposed.
Yasmin Dubois is a healer but something about Yasmin doesn’t sit well with our story line hero. Yasmin is not whom or what she appears to be, and in this the unmated males of Cougar Creek enter into a battle to determine who can claim Yasmin as their own. As the guardians of Cougar Creek, Flint and his brothers are ineligible to enter into the courting ritual but Flint sees red when too many males vie for Yasmin’s affections.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Rath and Ivy, Flint’s brother Colbalt, female cougar shifter Ember, as well as a number of males hoping to win Yasmin’s heart. Cobalt and Ember’s story is next in Craved by Her Cougar.
The world building continues to focus on the ‘gathering’-a time of mating heat between unmated females and males; a time when the beast overrides any sense of human emotion.
As per Felicity Heaton’s style of writing COURTED BY HER COUGAR is more of a written narrative wherein the story is told through thoughts and emotions. The premise is engaging; the characters are colorful and energetic; the romance is passionate and seductive. COURTED BY HER COUGAR is a spirited and dramatic tale of fated mates.
Flint is the youngest of the cougar brothers and he's haunted by the fact that he was too young to fight when their pride was attacked and his parents were killed. He blames himself for not being able to help protect them so he throws his energy into protecting the pride during their gatherings with his brothers. He is bemused by the mating frenzy that seems to have taken over his brothers and determined not to get caught with a mate himself because he has no intention of settling down enough to risk his heart.
Yasmine has come to Cougar Creek searching for her best friend Ivy, she's very protective of her friend and wants to make sure she is happy and safe. The last thing Flint needs is another human around the place but Yasmine isn't as easy to get rid of as he expected and it turns out her medical knowledge could be helpful if she is willing to teach Ivy and the brothers more skills to look after their people. Of course keeping the fact that they are immortal cougar shifters hidden from another human isn't going to be easy but it turns out Yasmine has a few secrets of her own that she doesn't want exposed too.
Courted by her Cougar is the third book in this series but I think the stories all standalone if you're not up to date. I'm enjoying getting to know each of the brothers and I really liked both Flint and Yasmine but I have to confess I'm not a huge fan of the cougar culture that we saw in this book. Some of the males can be pretty brutal to each other when they're trying to prove themselves and claim a mate and I found that a bit off-putting even though it wasn't Flint or any of the main characters who were actually causing trouble. I loved that Yasmine wasn't what she seemed and that she stood up for what she believed in and wasn't going to let anyone tell her how to live her life. She seemed to understand Flint really well and I think they'll be good together.
Courted by her Cougar is the third book in the Cougar Creek Mates series, and we meet another brother. Flint has his own tour business, but returns home to help with the Gathering. When he sees what has happened to Rath and Storm, he is determined that he will not fall to this 'madness'. That was before Yasmin crashed into his life, and now he is prepared to face danger to have the opportunity to make her his. Yasmin likes the look of Flint, but recognises him for a player. Nothing is guaranteed to leave her cold any quicker than that. The attraction sizzles between them and Yasmin is left with musings and wonderings over what might be, if she would only give him a chance.
This is a great addition to the series, giving a bit more detail into the cougar's way of thinking and their instincts. We also get to see that not all cougars are the noble, honourable, type! Full of excellent descriptions, this book has a steady pace, that continuously builds to the climax. For those that adore sexy times, there are plenty in here, and yet they do not detract from the story, but add an extra layer to Flint and Yasmin's relationship.
There were no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow. This continues to be a wonderful series, with plenty of depth to both the world and the characters. We do get cameo appearances from Rath and Ivy, and Storm and Gabriella are both mentioned.
A strong shifter series that I have no hesitation in recommending.
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and the comments here are my honest opinion. *
Holly Hell what a book! This is a phenomenally well written and thought out book. It was such a joy to read. It had this wonderful flow to it and I had a hard nearly imposable to put down. This is the third book in the series if you have not read the first two books do not worry these books can be read as a standalone. But this review may give away some spoilers as there is a back story in the book. And it mentions others from the first few books. I so cannot wait to read the next book. This is Yasmine and Flint’s story. And what a story it is. Yasmine is afraid her friend is in trouble and sets off to find out for herself how Ivy is. But as she nears the creak a giant hot looking man steps into her path. And he dose not want to let her in. so Yasmine being the thought cookie Ivy described in book one just pins him to a tree. And finally she gets to see Ivy. And since she is a doctor she gets to stay when she meets Rath. But you know that the creek is not a safe place for any mere human and when a group of cougars get into a fight and shifts in front of her everything changes. And now she is part of the gathering and fare game only Flint is not going to let that happen. now he has to fight to get his mate. But she has a secret to and it is amazing. Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too.
Flint is a ladies man, a player and the younger brother. When his parents and his pride were attacked he was young and couldn't fight but after the attack a few weeks ago and his brother Storm going aways with the Enemy's sister, Flint's need to protect his family is out of hand.
Yasmine is looking for her friend, she needs to make sure that she's fine and safe and happy. And if to make that, she needs to trek into the middle of nowhere, then she will.
When she meets Flint on her way to the Creek, she's determined to stay away from him. She's not looking for fun but is not looking for the love of her life either....
These two were so fun to read! The banter was great, and watching how they were trying to deny and figure out their feelings was super fun. Flint's alpha attitude combined with his determination to probe himself worthy of Yasmine. And her! She's so strong and loyal and protective, you want to help her and hold her and never let go.
Courted by her Cougar is a relief from the tension we had on the previous books, the sittuation between these two is more about them admmiting their feelings and seeing more about the Cougars way of living and customes. I love how we got to see more them as a family as well, I really missed Storm in this one, I think he would have been a great addition to the dinamic of this book.
I'm loving this series, even more with each book, and I can't wait to see what happens to Cobalt and how he choses to deal with his feelings when is his turn.
I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Burgeoning love at Cougar Creek continues with the third installment of Felicity Heaton’s new paranormal romance series. Yasmin arrives at the remote creek settlement to connect with her friend Ivy, the creek’s newest human resident. Yasmin’s arrival at the creek is intercepted by Flint, another of the cougar shifted brothers charged with maintaining the security of the shifters’ hidden property. Not to be deterred, Yasmin charges ahead intrigued, but not intimidated, by the tall, dark, and handsome man protecting the area. Flint admires Yasmin’s confidence and intelligence, but refuses to initially embrace the idea that he, like his brothers, could be completely consumed by one woman.
I liked the tale of Yasmin and Flint. It has some action and intrigue, but is firmly rooted in romance. I liked that Dr. Yasmin Dubois has a secret of her own. Instead of needing the cougars’ protection, she’s perfectly capable of taking care of herself and everyone else. Pack politics prevent Yasmin and Flint from realizing their connection and this provides additional and angst and anticipation to the story, adding to reader engagement.
The stories in this shifter romance series have been quick, entertaining reads. Each installment in the series has been released in an incredibly timely fashion. A fourth and final installment, Craved by Her Cougar, is expected soon.
The next brother is about to fall and his special lady friend is a little more than human. Which kinda puts Yasmin in a weird position because it was a big secret she'd been keeping from Ivy and suddenly it's all out in the open. Plus, there's that whole crazy attraction thing to Flint.
You know, these immortals lead complicated lives. They have to hide their animal side from the humans, keep a lookout for obsessed killers trying to hunt them for the thrill of taking down their kind, and their animal instincts kick in at the most inopportune moments at times.
Like, you know, when Yasmin impulsively accepts an off the cuff declaration from a cougar who isn't Flint. And then when Flint throws caution to the wind and makes an outrageous declaration of his own.
Good times, man. Good times.
I'm thoroughly enjoying these cougars and their situation. The brothers are in an odd position since they're not supposed to take part in the gathering other than too police it and yet instinct won't be denied.
Cougar shifter Flint has watched two of his brothers fall victim to the mating season. They have found their mates. He on the other hand would rather play the field. Unfortunately although he is surrounded by willing female cougars, because his family are in charge of the meeting they are all forbidden to him. He will just have to suffer the frustration until he goes home. Yasmin has come hunting for her best friend. Although Ivy sent an email saying she had found a man and fell in love. Yasmin wants to make sure everything is alright. She is a medic and is hiding a pretty big secret of her own. When the truth is revealed it brings out the competitive nature in the pride. Now the trouble will really start. This is the third book in the series, but you could read each one on it's own. There are some blood thirsty fights and some hot sexy scenes. Our hero is normally a lighthearted kind of guy, but can be annoyingly dominant for our strong, self sufficient heroine. Very good fun, I have loved all the books in this series and am looking forward to the next one.
Poor Flint he is fighting the sickness his brothers caught because he doesn't like to be tied to one woman. Quite honestly, I find the harder they fight this attraction the harder they will fall but author Felicity Heaton adds a spectacular twist to this story with the feisty Yasmin who cares for Ivy and comes to make sure she is safe. It will shock and delight the readers when they find out about her secret.
Yasmin's constant thwarting of Flint's commands adds some humor to this book and his frustration is amusing. I do like the way the author makes Flint more loveable as the books progresses showing the reader his reasons for being a one-night stand type of man.
This story is very fast paced and filled with men determined to have Yasmin, so the reader won't have a dull moment. Characters from the previous books are involved in this story creating a feeling of family to the delight of this reader.
Traditions can be crazy to court a female but in the end she can refuse the male who went through all trials just to get a courtship with her. Yazmin is ivy’s best and only friend so she goes to look for her to make sure she is okay. Flint has been taking charge of the perimeter runs since his brother rath been spending his times with his fated one ivy. Unknowingly, feeling nerves and that something was coming he sets out to make his one of his rounds and find Yasmin whom insists on seeing ivy. Little did they both know that a connection between both is Undeniable but Yasmin is tired for the men try to take of vantage and thinks that flint only wants that one night stand and that’s when things go crazy and courting her. This is another great story of another brother getting caught up in the fever of finding his fate and it’s a bit dangerous to court her because she had accepted other suitors. Can’t wait for the next one.

Here we have yet another awesome Cougar Creek book! This time, it's Flint's turn to come down with the plague that seems to be running through his family - finding his mate. I will be honest, Flint annoyed me a little when he showed up in the earlier books, but he really grew on me here. I loved his habit of saying the exact opposite of what he meant, and how that just got him further and further into trouble.
Each brother is similar, but yet so distinctly different. I love how Heaton can give me something unique about each one, yet still make sure I get what I love about them - that protectiveness. We also get a glimpse at more of the supernatural world, outside of cougar and bear shifters, and this hint makes me eager for more.

We read this book for episode 55 of our podcast. This is the third book in the Cougar Creek series by Felicity Heaton. The youngest brother, Flint, thinks the mating of Rath and Storm is a sign of madness sweeping the creek this spring mating season. He is sure he won’t fall for any female, that is until Ivy’s friend Yasmin storms into camp to make sure her friend is all right. The chemistry between them is instant and scary, so scary Yasmin fights it and ends up on the wrong-side of a courting ritual she doesn’t understand. Flint’s determination to fight for her thaws her heart and they find a solution to their loneliness in each other's arms. Stymied by the restrictions of the courting process, their fleeting physical encounters simmer until the end when the sparks can finally fly! For more of our thoughts, listen to episode 55 of Shhh We’re Reading Dirty Books found on any podcast platform!
This next installment of the Cougar Creek Mates Shifter Romance Series finds brother Flint and Dr. Yasmin caught up in the mating frenzy that leads to harrowing challenges and dangerous circumstances as they realize that they have been made for each other. A startling revelation from Yasmin casts her in an entirely different light and makes her all the more perfect for Flint. Author Heaton build the tension and the heat at a slow and steady pace that makes the consummation all the more satisfying for both the characters and the reader. The story’s end will leave the reader with a happy smile and a strong desire for book 4. Well written and highly recommended.
And it keeps getting better. Each brother is going down on the love train and this little brother wasn’t excluded. Flint wanted to avoid the fated mate epidemic as oldest brother Rath met Ivy then another brother Storm met Gabi then seeing second oldest brother Cobalt pine after Ember. Flint didn’t expect a disturbance in the force as Ivy’s best friend and doctor Yasmin Dubois comes looking for her to verify nothing nefarious was going on. Only these two wouldn’t realize Yasmin initiated an old courting tradition that coerces Flint to get his girl.
(Flint & Yasmin): umm… so yeah this one was a little better but not by much. Yasmin comes in as a friend of Ivy's but she's got a whole lot of attitude. I didn't like her for most of the book. She comes in as sort of a doctor. Wrath, as suspicious as he is, wants Flint to keep an eye on her. She's not feeling that at all and does not allow him to flirt with her. So then there's a challenge and courting among the shifters for a chance to be chosen by Yasmin. It's then where the feelings between the two begin to build. I didn't like the whole challenge thing but it allowed for some action in the story. While Ivy is her friend there's not much dialogue between them. The book was ok.
I love that all the brothers are having a hard time accepting that fate has a way of stepping in and smacking them in the face with their mate. Yasmin comes to check on her friend that already has her mate, even though she is human and he is a cougar, She meets up with Flint who does not want a mate, let alone a human mate. But Fate steps in and Flint finds out that Yasmin is not exactly human.
Enter a courting, the drama of competing, finding out exactly what Yasmin is....this story pulls you in and it allows your imagination to ride along with Ms. Heaton's writing.
This 3rd book in this awesome series tells the story of Flint and a sexy doctor named Yasmin who came to check on Ivy who is mated to Flint's brother Rath. With all the single male shifters at Cougar Creek for a visit, tension and the need for sexual release is rampant. Flint is attracted to Yasmin but when she accepts 3 males request to court her, Flint gets caught up in the courting trial against them to see who is the strongest and bravest to court her. Very exciting and could not put this book down till I finished it. Great job as always.
This another good book in the cougar creek shifters. This is the 3rd book in the series and although each book can be read alone, they are best read in order.
I liked the intensity of the feelings that the mates have for each other and how alive each character feels. I liked that there is more action and suspense to this book than the previous one. Some scenes were extra hot and addictive.
I took off a star for grammar mistakes and how distracting It can be when wrapped up in a story.
Give this series a shot, you won’t be disappointed!
