She is currently writing the fourth and final novel, Shattered, which is due to release in 2020.

Crossed by Shelby Haisley is the 3rd installment in the story of the teenager August Haven. In this book finally after intriguing the readers in the 1st 2 books some answers about August are revealed
This book is also as fast paced and from start to finish as the previous and makes the reader eager for the next one to know how it all ends. One o side it makes us eager to know the end and on the other side it makes one wish this thrill ride never ends.
I hope to see soon a movie announced on this series on the lines of the Jason Bourne series.
A non stop thrill ride for all lovers of thrillers.

August Havens has been living her life hiding out from her enemies after faking her death over a year ago. August is on the run again after her friends were captured. Her friends are being used as some sort of leverage against August trying to get her to come out of hiding and walk right into their hands.
Her friends would probably still be safe if August had not done a foolish thing. August went on a mission of her own and by herself. She tricked Jace and Blaire leaving them home alone unfortunately she was caught with her hand in the cookie jar so to speak, managing to escape once again but unfortunately her friends did not.
Once again August is forced to leave her safe haven behind and hit the road but not before going after her friends to hopefully rescue them and bring them home safely.
I know when August tricked her friends and went after the information she wanted by herself that deep down she thought she was protecting her friends not realizing that she was just putting them in more danger as the operation that she was trying to do would have probably turned out a lot better with help from her friends and she might not have been caught.
August has grown up a lot in so many ways because she has had to but there is still so many more ways where she hasn’t matured at all. If she wasn’t getting herself caught she was getting her friends caught and even killed at times. August always thought she was doing the best thing for everyone but she just wasn’t taking a look at the big picture very well.
But I’ll have to admit she kept me on my toes wondering what kind of trouble she was going to get everyone into next and then wondering how she was going to save everyone.
August may have always wanted what she wanted and putting everyone’s lives in jeopardy but she never stopped to think about the risks she was taking while performing the task at hand as she was trying to keep her friends safe or rescuing them or getting what she wanted. She never once thought about the danger she was putting herself in only the task that was before her at any given moment. August is the kind of friend that put her own life in danger to save her friends.
Crossed was just as fast paced as Wanted book one and Twisted book two in The August Havens Series. Crossed, like the first two books have lots of action and suspense it also has plenty of twists and turns to keep the pages rolling revealing just enough of its secrets to keep me hooked.
Once I picked up Crossed I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to see what August has in store for us on the next leg of her journey and where she will take us next. I am eagerly awaiting the next book in The August Havens Series.
I highly recommend Crossed to all mystery and suspense fans but I do suggest that you read Wanted and Twisted before reading Crossed as they are not stand alone books. One click your copy today!

A third action packed August Havens installment from Shelby Haisely.
All three of the books are well written and grab your attention from beginning to end. There were some surprising twists and turns in this book. Some you could see coming and some not so much. I love the character August, but find her reckless and compulsive. So much so, that it very often puts her family in friends in unnecessary danger. She is of course 17 and not fully prepared for the pressures put upon her, but often times put herself in dangerous situations.
The core group has slowly been growing from book 1 and continued to do so in this latest installment of the series. I can never get a good read on Agent Billings. Who is he operating for today?
All in all the series has been great. It's easy to read and keeps your attention from beginning to end. I definitely recommend this book.

Book number three in the series, and now we’re talking! After my frustration with the previous two books for not answering any of the questions I had, this book finally starts to reveal what is going on, and why August is so important. While some parts felt predictable, the story as a whole felt very fresh: despite the characters from the previous two books being present in this book once again, the plot did not become repetitive and the circumstances were brand new.
A fourth book will come along eventually, and now that I have read this book, I must say that I am looking forward to see how the tale of August Havens will end. While this book starts to build up to the grand finale, there is a lot left to be divulged, and I am sure that the author knows exactly what she is doing by making her audience wait.

I am just in love with Shelby’s writing,she just keeps getting better and better, its so easy to read and all the characters are somewhat relatable. Like I said Shelby should consider turning her August Chronicles into an action TV Series. The third installment is even better than the first and second books. If there is provision for 10 stars, I would definitely give Shelby for Crossed. Well Done Shelby, can’t wait for the next installment ‘Shattered’. I recommend this series to anyone that enjoys intrigue and action.

Beyond Awesome! The August Series has been my absolute favorite and THANKS to Shelby, I have gotten to read them! She is my number 1 author! I recommend this series to anyone that enjoys intrigue and romance!
