Loving What His Hood Love Does to Me
In high school, Markell Roberts and Junee Johnson were the it couple. Every female wanted to be in Junee’s shoes, and every guy wanted Markell’s spot. Markell had dreams of one day becoming a big-time music producer. With the love and support of his high school sweetheart, Junee, he couldn’t ask for more.
Fast forward eight years later and Markell is now one of the top music producers in the east coast, who goes by the name Kells. Surrounded by women on a regular was nothing for Kells, it came with the territory. But what happens when he runs into the talented seductress Dynasty. Will he still be able to uphold that same mentality or find himself indulging in things that he shouldn’t?
While Markell is busy in a battle within himself, Junee is getting cozy with the intriguing Lance Aubrey. The two of them started off as mere acquaintances, but soon after became friends. Junee finds herself wanting more than just friendship from Lance. Could it be the lack of attention that she is not getting from Markell, or is Lance bad boy charm something she needs and want in her life?
Will Markell have enough willpower to stay faithful and dedicated to Junee? Or will the temptation and fame become too much, and take his life on a downhill spiral he couldn’t have prepared for?
Then you have their friends, Niyah and Clinton. Niyah can’t seem to let go of her past hurt to enjoy her newfound relationship. Clinton is a good dude, but in Niyah’s mind, all dudes are the same, cheaters. Will Niyah be able to see what she has in front of her before she loses a good thing? Or will Clinton get tired of the constant battle of trying to love someone, who doesn’t seem capable of being loved?
Follow these couples on their journey to see if love prevails all obstacles they may face.

Good Read
I just knew from the beginning Markell was gonna be a clown, I just knew it. Seemed like one minute he was this clean cut guy and without much effort he just came crashing down. I hate that he had such a hold over Junee but its to be expected, she married him.
I loved Clint and how he tried everything in his power to fix Niyah, only thing is you cant help someone who isn’t trying to be fixed.
Niyah and Junee both were all over the place and needed to grow up, Niyah more than Nee.
And Lance of course was bae, he came in and showed exactly what a real man can offer.
I wish the author showed more of Markell’s spiral as well as Lance and Nee’s relationship, seems a little under developed. With Markell it was just like how do you go from being with someone for 8 years and nvr having an affair to 1 session and boom its all out the window, they werent having any problems or anything at home.

This was such a good read. I feel so bad for Junee when she finally finds what’s been lacking her husband just throws a big wrench in her life . Kells is getting a major dose in the grass isn’t always greener on the other side , he got a dose of temptation and lost his mind now there’s no coming back . I hope Lance don’t go shooting first and asking questions later😩.I really hope Clint and Niya find their way back to each other I don’t trust this new chick .

Wow
At first I was a little skeptical about reading this one. I’m glad I changed my mind. This was a really good fast paced read. As of now Clinton is my favorite. I am hoping in part 2 he makes it. I don’t trust Monay just yet and Niyah annoys me. Junee is green as heck and Markell deserves whatever his fate will be. I hope the wait for part 2 is not too long.

Page turner
This was an awesome story. The characters are to love and their story lines were great. Looking forward to reading more about them. My first time reading this authors working and I wasn’t disappointed one bit.

Juicey read!
This book was a great read and full of scandals! Markell behind oa reaping what he sow. Junee is innocent in all this but yet foolery kept headed her way. Im glad nyiah was getting herself together as for clint i pray he dont die! Cant wait for part 2

This was a good, I can’t believe Markell would just cheat and do the things he did🤦🏾♀️ Hopefully Junee and Lance can make it work. I don’t really know how I feel about Niyah, she should’ve just gave Clint a chance but she was working my nerves. Hopefully Clint is ok.

This was my first read by this author and i loved it i could not put it down. Markell strikes again bad enough he cheated and with someone who was known for messing with any and everyone. Clint and Niyah SMH cant wait for part 2.

This is a definite page turner. Dynasty 😳😱 what the hell. I knew Markell wasn’t worth nothing from the beginning. I really hope Niyah and Junee can catch a break. Lance and clint love jumping the gun without asking questions.
