It's a strange book. I didn't understood it's auditory. Who is this book for? It doesn't provide a deep technical overview, it doesn't have a lot of theory about TSDB. It's just a quick look at two Apache's solutions. Though the book doesn't sell them to the reader.

This seems to be an advertisement for Open TSDB. A decent book, but reading official documentation is probably better.
