Much like the last book I finished by the same author/editor, this book is packed with info. As with any collection of essays, some were easier to read than others. The point of the book is to show the commonalities between Zionism, imperialism, and racism, and I think it succeeded. The essays go into different topics such as Israeli Jew vs. Palestinian Arab wages, the relationship between Israel and National Party-dominated South Africa, how Zionism is indeed a form of racism as the UN had declared by this time, and many other things related to the overall theme. It's a bit dated, given the time it was written, but many of the issues discussed are still going on today. It's definitely a good primer for anyone who wants to learn more about the Zionist takeover of Palestine and how it had evolved during the 1970s, but it's only for people who don't mind reading dry, naked facts without any kind of engaging narrative.
