My name’s Cassandra (Caz). Half of my soul was created in heaven, and the other half was forged in hell. An angel and a demon have claimed me, and I also have two soul mates who are bound to me. The catch? They’re all mortal enemies. Does that mean I’m good or evil or a bit of both? Now there’s a mysterious stranger who knows about me and my destiny. She says she used to be just like me - created the same way by the same angel and demon who are determined to keep me from finding the truth. Like I said, my name’s Cassandra (Caz), and I’m not afraid of demons, angels, warlocks, reapers, heaven, or hell. They should be afraid of me. ** Mature Language/Sexual Situations; Recommended 18+ **
L. A. Long writes urban fantasy/paranormal romance and reverse harem romance (which has quickly become an obsession). When she’s not writing or thinking about writing, she devours paranormal fiction, worries about animals, stalks chocolate, dreams about the perfect cupcake, and tries to explain her devotion to sprinkles. She lives with her husband and a group of ever expanding rescue animals (and possibly some paranormals in the Pacific Northwest.)
I don’t think I like ren. Hurting her soul mate because she makes him mad? And he’s the angel, just wow. Also have less respect for the main character that she wants to have sexy time with the angel after he just hurt one of her soul mates. And wow the roller coaster I’ve been on I completely forgive ren he is now my favorite. But Sebastian He now needs to die. Maybe even her other soul mate. Her soul mates need to go. Like I hope she doesn’t forgive for the pain that was caused by Sebastian. This is giving me whiplash. I need the next book.
I have had this series on my TBR list for a very long time and finally made time to read the first two books.
Another paranormal reverse harem, fast paced, and a total romp fest! Not that I’m complaining but I was expecting a story and I got erotica.
I couldn’t give them more than a three star rating because the bickering really got on my nerves, the storyline lacked excitement and as I mentioned it was a real romp fest.
At the end of book 2 we are given a reason behind all the mess, and I can understand but for me I think the damage was already done and if I’m being honest if I don’t read the next book in the series it’s not going to cause too much stress for me.
The second installment shed some light on the who why and how of the strange double triangle of relationships. I have not decided if I care enough to read the next installment. The overall storyline is a bit weak. Although I like the angry angel and the honest demon... the other two are weak character in my opinion, and Caz/Cassandra is just very predictable.
