Within arms reach of her bakery and the protection it offers, Adie’s attacked! How will she escape when her opponent is so much more powerful? And what will happen when her guys smell another demon on her? Will the trust her word when she can’t tell them the truth?
Join Adie on her (mis)adventures towards achieving a quasi-normal life among humans.
Pacific Northwest author L.L. Frost writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance with snarky characters and descriptive world-building. Whether she's writing a fast burn romance about witches, wolf shifters, and vampires, or teasing a slow burn romance while hunting demonic monsters, her passion is for character driven novels.
Growing up in a rainforest gave L.L. Frost plenty of time to daydream while spending cozy days under a blanket with her cats by her side. Sipping tea or chugging coffee, you can find her with a book or laptop in hand, imagining new worlds.
Poor Adie...it's just one problem after another. Attacked by a destruction demon, finding out her assistants guys are witches, a good snuggle with the imps and the Emil, Tac is now ignoring her, making "friends" with Peter (her cousin's assistant), getting to "own" the imps herself, making up with Kellen, and getting trapped in a haunted house... Just an average 24 house for Adie and her crazy life. This story is always so much fun!
If you're looking for a romance and reverse harem story to read and you've got about 20 minutes, give Adie's serial a shot. She's either the luckies succubus around or the unluckiest, you decide.
Are you serious? Demons suck. Well, some of them do, others you want them too! Adie just can't catch a break! Can she fix the problem without the guys interfering? Or will she have to stand up to them too?
Adie has found herself in a nasty situation with an individual that Kellen tried to protect her from. He didn’t do it in the best way so now Adie’s mad at him, but now she has bigger problems. A surprise snatch and grab shows her that the guys have been handling her with kid gloves in comparison to how others could/would possibly treat her as a succubus and their need/urge to dump their power in order to remain on the human plane. The Ambush sees Adie fall from one bad situation to another. First, the ambush itself and I have to say that some revelations about Tally’s men adds some nice spice to the story. Adie is in quite a situation though since she wants to keep the attack a secret from the guys, but how well is that going to? Is she really willing to jeopardize their relationships just for the sake of revenge? The only thing I didn’t like about this installment is Adie’s moments of selfishness. Once can be disguised as her seeking to “protect” but it’s more about trying to not appear weak. Then the pillows…seriously? Who cares if taking ONE away would have created “unbalance” she should have let him have one as a sign of caring. All in all, I’m rating this 4.5 out of 5 stars.
These little spurts are killing me I love the way way the story us going but I need a book the short stories are killing me. You got me hooked though I give you that! Just wish we could maybe get a at least 200 pg book in between the shorts. Just an idea. 😘
This series is nice quick fun reads. Each ends on a slight cliffhanger but not so annoying you want to bludgeon the author. Adie and her guys are awesome, it's nice to see their relationship moving into actual relationship territory. I'm also really happy she's going to be the imps new owner and get them away from her cousins buisness.
really dislike Domnall and I hope he gets what’s comin to him. I can’t wait until her guys find out tho I know she wants to protect Slater. Can’t wait until her guys find out hopefully they’ll help her destroy him. This book need to be reworked. There were a lot of stars around the words. Like *are* after awhile it starts to get annoying.
What's up with Domnall jumping Adie and then acting sort of sweet afterwards? We also learn new info about Tally's guys because of that encounter. Also, Emil can be so cute sometimes. How long does Adie expect to keep that secret, though?
This installment in the succubus serial was as good as ever. I enjoyed it, as usual, and I recommend it. Just make sure you’ve read all the other ones first!
I feel bad for her . Adie is always getting into crazy situations without really meaning to just to help herself or others but it always back fires on poor girl.
I love this cliffhanger especially since I’m watching haunted houses tv series right now. Omg perfect timing. Any I cannot wait for the next spooky story!!
