"Pacing and the plot development in this novel are on point…the author did a good job balancing Molka's perfectionism with her tendency to lose control/violently lash out when wronged. This has gone a long way toward making Molka a believable and sympathetic character…definitely one who's story is worth following through several novels." - Scribendi Editing Services

This book had a bunch of twists and turns I was not expecting. That Molka is one tough cookie. This book was well written and highly recommended. It was so refreshing to read a book I did not need to use a red pen. It also made me want to learn martial arts. And I’m 70!! Lol!!
I read some of the reviews and was expecting something a little more professional. It was rather unpolished, and at times amateurish. The scene where Molka is on a plane explaining the book's backstory to a complete stranger, (who isn't really even there) made me cringe. This was not a book where you could get carried away and stay up half the night trying to finish reading it. It's described as an action, adventure, suspense thriller, but I disagree. Results: to be completely frank, I was bored with it. I have not read any other works by this author as far as I know, so it may just be that this particular book was not up to par. This is book one of the series, but I don't plan to read the others.
This book is a good way to spend a couple of hours. I found the characters all a bit unbelievable and the storyline ludicrous and it's no classic .But saying that it is a good bit of pulp fiction .The story moves along quickly and it turned into quite a bit of a page turner . The main character Molka is a good heroine even though she keeps making mistakes and gets into all sorts of perilous situations in this book alone she is raped tortured and bound and gagged on a plane which is a bit bad if your supposed to be a kick ass Israeli special forces operative but this was her first assignment and no doubt she will get better in her further missions of which I will probably read whenever I've got a couple of spare hours.
How Far Would You Go To Right A Horrible Wrong?Former special forces warrior Molka became enraged when her little sister was brutally murdered and they didn’t do anything about it. Now Molka will show them exactly how far she’ll go. This is the first in a series and though it could have been better, it has great promise. Molka wishes to avenge her sister, to do so she becomes an agent of the Council, the Israeli equivalent of out CIA, she must complete 11 projects to get her revenge, she makes mistakes but she learns, she grows and she survives.
There were some areas of the story that followed the excerpt explaining this book.
However, as there were extreme sadistic and sexual activity written into the book, it would be awful for those scenes to potentially trigger a C-PTSD response. Over 18 recommended?
An exceptional fine suspense/thriller from the pen of Fredrick Stafford! Molka is definitely a force to be reckoned with! Her cover as a Veterinarian is a stroke of genius! The characters both good and bad are very well developed! Looking forward to reading more of Molka 's projects!
Call me old-fashioned, but bad punctuation and use of the wrong word interfere with my reading pleasure. Ex: using “Counsel” when it should have been “Council” throughout the book; commas in all the wrong places, etc. The story wasn’t at all bad, but like the Edsel (which my parents bought in 1958), a good idea poorly packaged is a failure.
This book was a little too violent for me. Also the manipulation of Molka by her own team was unsettling. The surprise, contrary to the idea of society, it was the MC group that helped Molka. The most disturbing aspect was how her team stood by while she was drugged, beaten and raped. Not a good look for government handlers.
Have to go along with some of the other reviews - very underwhelmed. The premise was good but the story didn't live up to it. Should be listed as a "dramedy" due to Molka continuing to stumble through each incident. As she is supposed to be former Israeli Military she would have been more adept at confrontations and better skilled overall. Will not be reading the sequels.
The story sounded interesting but after the first half I kind of lost interest. Molka seemes like a badass but then she tends to be not so smart, but then ohhh she’s still in training. Well, the actions are ok, the plot … so so, the dialogue…please stopping calling her beautiful one! It sounds so corny.
Molka is a beautiful, deadly operative. She has a tragic past that plays into her current decisions and actions. I like the action and how her motivation unfolds. I feel her emotions and applaud her successes. I look forward to the next book.
Got this book on Kindle Unlimited, and I never really connected with it. The story wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good. The main character was all right, but she was not one that made me want her to conquer everything. I finished the book, and there was no satisfaction in finishing; just a sense of being glad that it was over. I doubt that I read any more from this series.
Great character and action but she makes too many errors in judgement which put her life in danger. For a bad ass she gets beaten, tortured, made, and assaulted too many times. Her wins appear to be by chance.
A good action heavy spy adventure with a badass protagonist. Molka is sexy, skilled, willing to go through hell for revenge but is still an imperfect and likeable character. I will be checking out the next book to see where her story goes from here.
An Amazon recommendation and KU available book that was well worth dipping into. A strong female main character and a plot that twists and turns. I'd recommend it and will get the next in series.
A good book that kept me gripped. Rather than on top of thing Molka seems more reactionary and luck good and bad follow her closely. Bad luck seemed to get her into most adverse situations then good luck gets her out. Looking forward to book two though hoping she gets a bit more of a grip on things.
I rather liked the concept of an Israeli Special Forces hero, but could not really recommend it as I found the writing style too condensed. I’m surprised at the number of 5* reviews
