In England during the Middle Ages, a courageous young boy who suddenly loses the use of his legs is forced to learn how to deal with his new disability.
Very boring. I’m not trying to mean that’s just my genuine opinion. I had to read this book for school and found it’s excruciating. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because there was one scene that I found quite exciting. But only one out of the entire book. I have deemed it the most excruciating book ever written. That’s my opinion. Other people have given it good reviews and I guess it just depends on what kind of books you like. For me? I HATE historical fiction. So I would’ve found this already excruciating to begin with. Anyways, it’s worth a shot I guess but I found it terrible!
It was a very slow book, and it took me almost a month to finish. I have no doubt it was a good book to some, but it just wasn't a page turner for me. I hope many people do like it, and if you do, don't get mad at those who don't because we all have our own opinions.
