After being left at the altar, Adele does the unthinkable and heads to the Northwest Territories to marry a Mountie. When she arrives, she soon learns that things are different than the life of luxury she grew up with—but she's determined to prove herself capable of surviving in the primitive world she finds herself in.
Liam has never had much luck with women, so he figures having a bride sent to him will save him the agony of having to court a woman and sweep her off her feet. To his surprise, his new bride promptly informs him that even though they're already married, she still expects to be wooed.
How is he supposed to know how to sweep a woman off her feet when he's more apt to step all over them? Can these two strangers find a way to believe that what they have to offer is more than enough to make each other happy?

Adele has been left at the alter by Irwin. But she doesn’t throw in the towel, she sees Miss Hazel from the window and runs down to meet her. If her cousin Elizabeth, can marry a Mountie so can she.
Liam has no luck with women and he figures if he gets a bride from this Miss Hazel he has been hearing about, his life will be perfect. He won’t have to woo anyone or court them.
Little does Liam know he is about to get his hands full marrying Adele.
Loved the story and characters Adele comes from a wealthy family and Liam is Irish and from farming parents. We also get to meet Bob the Beaver which is always nice to see what animal will be in the next set.
I've read most of the books in this series and enjoyed all of them!
Miss Mary Hughes lives in Ottawa, Canada. She likes to find women who be a mail bride for Mounties.
She matches three women to become brides to a man they've never met, other than Miss Mary receiving a letter from a mountie who would like to get married & what type woman he's looking for.
This book is about Constable Liam O'Reilly and Adele Duvall who are to be married in a small town, Flying Squirrel.
Miss Mary and 3 brides to be marrying their new husbands, when they reach Flying Squirrel. They're all Mounties.
You need to read this book! It's a short read. Now you'll be find out if Adele and Liam will fall in love!
Although this is the 25/26th book in the series (there's a zero number book in the original setting), this setting is every bit as interesting as all the previous settings. As holding with tradition, there was a Flying Squirrel in the previous setting, now we are in Flying Squirrel, Northwest Territories. Our new animal is a beaver named Bob. The main characters are Adele Duval, from the upper class of Ottawa society. She's a cousin to Elizabeth in Bride for Aaron, book 22 in this series. Adele and Liam didn't know they were looking for a happy ever after, but they might be pleasantly surprised.
If you have a couple of hours or even a couple of minutes this is a book to read. A rich woman who gets stood up at the alter. Then marries a mounty who loves her for her and not the money. She struggles to take on her new life and finds happiness. Now of course I could not forget about Bob the beaver. Each story has a unique animal that adds life to each story. Excellent
I really enjoyed reading Adele and Liam's story. I liked seeing their relationship develop over the weeks. Adele learned that she was a capable person and that she could be loved for herself. Liam realised that he was capable of wooing her and seeing her true self. Sometimes what you think you need isn't even close.
Kay wrote a sweet story of opposites. It is a fast pace affair between Liam and Adelle. You can not help but want them to win when you see how hard both try. This series is one I love and every new story makes me fall that much more. Readers will love the mounties and the women who loves them.
What a great love story. Liam and Adele’s story is sweet and heartwarming. Liam learns that you can’t judge a book by its cover or in this case an Adele by her upbringing.
I love these Mountie books. To come up with a place called Flying Squirrell, is amazing! Adele and Liam both had a lot to learn and they set out to make it work. Adele protects Bob's home and he helps her out. A great book.
This book about Liam and Adele's romance was absolutely adorable. Ms. Hazel and Bob added their own special twists to this sweet story and happy ending. Waiting for the next story, so please hurry up and write faster.
This picture shows you you don't always know what's best in life. Adele finds out there's more to life than the way she was brought up. If you don't fall in love with Liam you are crazy. He is a sweetest Mountie.
Adele was left at the alter and asked Miss Hazel to find her a Mountie to marry like she did her cousin Elizabeth. Liam is the Groom, however he doesn't know he is second choice. The story goes from there. I enjoyed this book very much
I really enjoy the books in this series, each and every one of them. All the authors are good at what they do and keep me anxiously waiting for the next book.
I really liked this book if I was young in those I would liked to be a mail order bride for a Mountie. In the late 1800 to early 1900’s that would be great.
Characters are charming, funny and colorful. Fun story of mail order brides of the RNWMP. Another animal mascot for the town gets named by Miss Hazel. - Babs
Another great RNWMP book.I have loved them all. These books are all so wonderful I anxiously wait for the next one to come out. This one was special and I really enjoyed it.
Adele has been left at the alter. She knows how people gossip, witnessing it happen to her cousin Elizabeth (#22). She figures the best thing to do is marry a Mountie herself and get a fresh start. Liam's Mam is pestering him to get married and give her more grandkids. But he's not a charmer at all. He thinks that a mail order bride will be best because she'll marry him and he won't have to court her. He's in for a shock when his new bride informs him that he needs to woo her even though they're already married. Will Liam be able to sweep his bride off her feet? Will Adele be able to give up her lavish life and adjust to being a Mountie's wife way up North? This is a clean, sweet romance. I thought it was pretty good but not a favourite.
Liam and Adle I enjoyed reading this captivating story of love at 1st sight even when one was running away from being jilted at the altar. This story has a satisfying HEA.
When a man with such a detestable name leaves you at the altar what do you do? You run, gown and all to Me. Hazel. After all, Hazel helped you cousin Elizabeth marry a Mountie and so you shall too. When Liam meets the train, he can only think about trying to not be so embarrassed that his cheeks flame as red as his hair and that his bride will be the docile blonde he has asked for. But when the gorgeous dark haired, tall beauty steps from the train he is instantaneously embarrassed because his is smitten and his brain is trying to figure out how he will live with the cute little blonde standing on the platform when his heart belongs to another. But then wonders of wonders the blonde is matched with his comrade and he is matched with the beauty, Adele. What other surprises are in order for this couple. And WHO is Bob! I love this series. Each can be read alone or find number one and read them all!
