IS A COUPLE OF CHAPTERS MISSING ???

I loved that this book, was about a very serious subject matter. Domestic Violence and low self-esteem issues, are stories that I love to read about. I applaud the Author for penning such a good book. The book centers around, two best friends, and two brothers. Who are dating the two friends, things are not what they seem, and things quickly spirals out of control. If you are a fan of, an abundance of sex scenes this book has plenty to satisfy. However I feel that a lot of content is missing, considering that the brothers got away with murder. Yet there is no mention of any arrest nor jail time. I understand that this is fiction, but I believe that something should of been said. At least it would of made the plot more believable in my opinion. For that reason I rate this book 3 stars.

Potential

This story has lots of potential to be great, but there are some things that hold it back. It seems that there are parts missing in the story, especially the ending. Some of the timeline is inconsistent with what’s going on in the story, such as the hospital scene. More work is also needed on character development. I didn’t feel a connection with any of the characters. There were more errors than what I’m used to as well. I did like the introduction of Joy’s cousin, Jessie. Although we don’t know much about her or her boyfriend, Dre, she kind of helps bring some positivity in Joy’s life. Again, this story has so much potential to be really good, it just needs a little more structure so it will flow smoother and a better editor.

Um... a bit of confusion

This story had a lot going on. Much to work with if the writer did another draft or two. Many parts were confusing in terms of timelines. Characters declared love but really it just seemed like they loved sex. The main character was basically leashed around by her private parts. The spacing was inconsistent and in the middle of one of the chapters it suddenly switches to a different character’s first person POV and then in the same chapter suddenly switches back. I wouldn’t tell this writer to stop writing but I would say that the story needs quite a bit more development. My preferable rating would be 2.5

Not His Brother's Keeper

I'm feeling some type of way about this book. I don't understand why Joy stayed with Anthony after getting savagely beaten and making all those declarations that she was going to leave him at the hospital. I don't see how she could go back and forth between brothers but to each it's own. And then to so easily sleep with Melvin right after she slept with Anthony. I'm glad that she eventually made a choice and stuck with it for her and Kevin to get their twins and HEA. I don't understand how Anthony got away with killing Vivian.

Man this was a good book

This is my first time reading this author and i must say this book was so good from the beginning to the ending. I felt sorry for Vivian bc she was so jealous of Joy but like they so be careful of what you wish for i'm so happy for Kevin & Joy bc he's a good man & stood by her & waited patiently for her to love him & now they have twins i knw he feels bad bc he killed his brother but Anthony got just what he deserved. I would love to read more books by this author

Awesome Read

Honestly at first I wasn't going to purchase this book because of the title. But I am so glad that I did. I read this book in an hour. At first I was feeling Joy because she had that bustin it wide open coochie. But after she claimed down she was ok. This book was very good and I am glad that I gave this author a chance. Looking forward to read more of her books.

It was a good read

I must say the story has great potential. The editor dropped the ball a bit bye the writer did a great job at painting her picture of Joy and Kevin. This couple was very interesting for the most part. I am an avid reader, errors and inconsistencies are a huge pet peeve of mine. That's the only reason I gave this story a four.

Ok read

I heard a lot of bad things about this book but I decided to give it a try. The story was a really good story, it lacked depth. The grammar was really bad, and the timelines were off. The title was very misleading which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The book had so much potential to be great it just was very rushed.

Good Read

I really disliked Anthony and I felt Kevin should have been first choice. Anthony just seemed too possessive to begin with, so I knew what would’ve happened. This book kept my attention.

A good read!

This was a good book and my first read by this author. I love the relationship between Joy and Kevin. I feel Vivian got a little more than what she deserved but Anthony definitely did. This won't be my last read by this author.

Normality is Overrated

Not your ordinary storyline. I originally was not a fan of Joy I severely judged her but after her tribulations she deserved her knight and shining armor.

Interesting

A good story line with minimum grammatical errors. Two brothers want the same chick, as usual jealousy and betrayal follows.
