Zoe works as a freelance children’s illustrator and author, from her studio in the picturesque and inspiring Isle of Wight.
She published her first children’s picture book ‘The Lighthouse Keeper: A Cautionary Tale’ a couple of years ago and has now recently published her second picture book ‘Chasing Butterflies’.
When not covered in black ink or with dip pen in hand, Zoe can most often be found drinking Earl Grey tea or playing with her cat ‘Mouse. She also loves the fresh air and can often be spotted out and about in her red wellies walking her black lab, Wilson.

Simply Captivating...
Zoe Sadler's illustrations are both delightful and breathtaking in Chasing Butterflies and Nova's quest is truly endearing—one that will touch the soul of every free spirit.
Overall, a lovely, whimsical piece of artwork, with a story that can be shared with adults, children and grandchildren for generations to come!

Wonderful book!
What a gorgeous book. I love Nova's determination to catch the butterfly, and when she eventually dose, it does not bring her as much happiness as she originally thought it would! The illustrations are beautiful and the story is really lovely.

I love it and the pictures are beautiful. I like the happy ending - said my 6 year old. It's good - said my 4 year old. Once again Zoe has wowed us with her illustrations. Nova and her butterfly chasing is very sweet.

Zoe’s art is imaginative, engaging and wondrously quirky. Who among us, as a child or an adult, hasn’t marveled at the sight of a butterfly? Through her art, Zoe sends us off on an adventure with Nova and her oversized net. Like the cat that tags along we turn each page anxious to see what’s next...

Beautiful artwork as always - Zoe's illustrations always seem slightly wild and untamed which I love. A lovely little story with artwork to really engage the reader.
