It's Live!!!

The second book by new author Haven Rose is going to be a hit. A romantic suspense that relies on a really good story for the drama- not drama from OW/OM, which is so refreshing.


HERO~ If you read book 1, then more than likely you are waiting for more from Deacon. He was a great hero. A tough childhood which left him adrift and not feeling like he belonged anywhere until he met Ryan (hero from book 1) and his family. With them he found the family he craved. Their love and acceptance led him to be open to finding someone. When he first saw Leah it was life at first sight. He was loving, attentive and protective. He only had eyes for her and was willing to do anything to protect her.

HEROINE~ Leah was a sweet, unassuming heroine that was very easy to like. She had lost her mom whom she adored and was suffering through dealing with a nasty step mother and her evil son. Leah put up with a lot more than I would have!

SEXUAL HISTORY~ both virgins

OM/OW DRAMA ~ None

STEAM Some steamy parts

VIOLENCE none of a sexual nature

SAFETY Safe - neither with others after meeting

ENDING~ Good epilogue a few years into the future

Lethal Memories by Haven Rose is the second book of the Tangled Web series. Deacon Kennedy was the perfect hero he was sweet, possessive and completely head over heels in love with Leah Taylor. This was a insta-love romance with push and pull between the couple. The story line was amazing. I am looking forward to the next book (I seriously can hardly wait)!!! I would totally recommend this book to anyone who likes insta love and a little suspense. The little epilogue at the end was great.

Watch out! We have a new book boyfriend. I have been invested in Deacon since book 1. It was amazing to see his transformation after he was welcomed into Ryan's family and when he met Leah. This book had my emotions all over the place. Suspense and crying and just beautiful words. I need the next book! Just from book 1 to book 2 I could see a big change in Haven Rose's writing. And for the better. I can't wait to see what she gives us next.

I’ve wanted to read this book for awhile now but wasn’t in the right head space when I bought. So I finally was able to read it and it didn’t disappoint. I loved deacon and just wanted give him a hug for everything he went through. Leah was a good heroine and I enjoyed her too.

I'm enjoying this new series by Haven Rose. Was glad she did Deacons story. It was sweet and hot with a HEA.
