These were nice short stories. A lot of new to me authors.

Wow it took me three months to read this book. It was a huge hangover from last year. I thought oh it’s only 10 short stories it wouldn’t take me that long to read, but how wrong I was. In the end sadly it became about just getting to the end so I could move onto something else. I’m not one for giving up and not finishing a book. But it’s safe to say I will be taking a long break from the Dark Nights collection for a while. Whilst most of the short stories were good and a nice insight into that authors writing, I think I prefer a longer story with more plot and direction.
1. KL Grayson - Random encounter, turns out they are neighbours, to lovers. Man is a tattooist.
2. Mari Carr - Best friend and sister, sister off limits but best friend and sister have loved each other since forever.
3. Angel Payne - Girl from posh family, she is sweet and innocent, man is a ruthless business man and a bit of a player.
4. Michelle St James - friends for ages, they eventually get together. She witnesses a crime and man’s secret job is revealed as he tried to keep her safe.
5. Rebecca Yarros - Girl cares for younger sister and alcoholic and abusive dad, man is a firefighter.
6. Kennedy Layne - 2 federal agents, identity of the women agent is compromised.
7. Sky Jordan - Girl is an assistant to a bossy horrible actress, Man is a stunt man.
8. CD Reiss - Lawyers and rock stars/ groupies, flashes from the past and present day.
9. Jennifer Lyon - best friends to enemies to lovers. She has a stalker, he is a bodyguard for a band, but really wants to be a chef.
10. Riley Hart - Childhood best friends, to enemies to lovers. Both characters are male, one a motorcross star the other works in the city.

It had a few good stories but some were not good.
