This was a good textbook. I did learn a lot and some was quite triggering.

more like a 4.5, the textbook does a fantastic job covering so many topics, highlighting intersectionality and the different ways that women's rights are inherently tied with other forms of injustices (racism, incarceration, ageism, environmentalism, wage gap, etc.), and providing comprehensive research for every claim it made. but for a 2019 book I was shocked to see hardly any mention of the #MeToo movement, especially in the chapter on sexual assault and domestic violence, along with other blips in focus here and there
