Classic comic artwork

Was good interesting story work. Kept me half way interested. The idea is a bit confusing but maybe it will explain it's self later

Fantasy with added Nazis

Another hit from Comixology Originals. The creator of Elephantmen builds an universe reminiscent of Neil Gaiman and Stephen King. A twist on the classic girl with destiny involving Paris and Nazis. And, as all Hellboy readers know, everything is better with Nazis. Plus, we’re 3 issues in, and they haven’t destroyed Paris yet, which is rare enough in an American production to be noted.

As a bonus, it’s free for Comixology Unlimited subscribers and Amazon Primers on Kindle through Prime reading.

It's difficult to write a detailed review of a single comic issue as it's only 25 pages long and barely enough time to really get into the story, especially when it's the first issue in the series.

I am curious to find out what happens, so will be looking out for the next issue or wait until the collected volume is released and read it all in one go. Either way, it was a nice introduction and Abigail's artwork is gorgeous, which gives the supernatural setting a feel of its own.

Took a chance because this looked like a Penny Dreadful inspired series. Not too far off. Zipped thru issue #1 and have #2 on my Kindle Fire already. Thanks to Comixology Unlimited. I love a monster hunter story, and throw in some Nazi's (from Indiana Jones sort of) and off we go.

Woah!

I tried this to get out of my comfort zone. I’ll admit I’m not a huge comic book reader and usually stick to Marvel or DC(I know, I know, I need to branch out more!). I really thought this was intriguing and cannot wait to read the next part.

That was a fast read. Basically the devil lures a real estate agent into a war-torn hellscape and monsters apparently made from WWII memories or something fight and eat each other. The end to issue one? Weird.

It has my attention!

Excellent introduction to a world I want to explore. Reminds me of the sandman series. Good dark fantasy. Love the art style.

This was a bit short, but I’m intrigued. Very stylish, and weird, in a good way.

So Budgie was pretty cool. Otherwise I do not really know what this comic is about yet. The art reminded me a bit of The Sandman.
