JUST IN CASE this series isn't diverse enough, with characters already going through interesting things and pointing at problems in society, they reveal a character struggling with an eating disorder. If you aren't reading this series, you dang well should be! They bring in the subject by uniting two people from opposite sides (heroes and villains), sharing in empathy and support. And later between those two, there's an intense anger that comes from discovering something about the other, a hatred, that's extinguished by that same empathy... Goodness, it's beautiful!
And then there's the gay thing. Having the world you grew up in taken from you because your parent disagrees with who you love? That hits too close to home.
As I stated in volume 1, this graphic novel had an adorable art style that reminded me of a mix of gwenpool and the wicked and the divine with some modern texts in there which was awesome. There were also some behind the scenes content I also enjoyed reading. Though this volume was short it presented an all star cast of characters when it came to diversity and powers. In addition this particular volume revealed a lot more action more plot in addition alot more character growth. That's why out of the 3 this one and the first one are my favorites. So because of these points I have to give this volume a 4.5 out of 5 stars. You guys should totally check this series out if you havent already.
