The entire series is Exam Refs is strictly focused on knowledge refreshment before MS exams. Chapters are organised according to to exam objectives etc. The books in the series are not designed to gain new knowledge, and thus are relatively hard to follow by someone not familiar with the topics.
Unfortunately, this book is way worse than average in the series.
I found 2 sections to be well written and informative:
- networking
- RBAC model
In other parts, the authors didn't make an effort to make the book consistent, we have a mixture of:
- basic definitions (what is machine learning)
- step-by-step tutorials (no screenshots)
- architectural discussions
- overview of existing services
- a bit of comparison of services and their use cases
All of this without any particular order.
Given the above, and the fact that Exam 70-535 is already deprecated, consider if time with it is well spent.
