She escapes to The Dollhouse, New Jersey’s hottest lesbian bar, where disappearing in a crowd of gorgeous women is exactly what she needs at the end of the day. Berit loves her bar, her life, and the casual connections she has with the women around her. She can’t help her simmering attraction for Lauren, though, and Lauren’s rejection challenges her to prove she's capable of friendship, kindness, and even matchmaking. I have a real hit or miss relationship with Ullrich’s books. I’m really happy to say that this book was the former and the kind of romance Ullrich excels at writing. This is a traditional romance that doesn’t have any wow moments, but it’s well written, with good chemistry and great characters.

Berit seems to have it all, a successful lesbian bar, great friends, and beautiful women passing their numbers to her daily. But she doesn’t have that one special lady to share the rest of her life with. Lauren is the opposite of Berit. She works a job she hates and goes home to roommates who act like they are still in collage. Lauren is starting to wonder if this is the life she really deserves. When Berit meets Lauren she can’t stop thinking of her. But what happens if Lauren, who could be the one, is the only one to ever tell her no?

While I love romance, I always prefer it on a space ship or with dragons flying around, or even just some good excitement. For me to really enjoy a traditional romance I have to get into the characters and that was exactly the case here. Lauren, who can be grumpy at times, is still very likeable and you immediately sympathize about what she is going through. Berit seems almost too good to be true, but getting to know her keeps providing surprises. They were just well written characters that helped to suck me right into the story.

When it came to the actual romance, I think romance fans will be happy with this one. No insta relationship, the characters had to work at it. The chemistry is there and the sex scenes were good and steamy. It had exactly what I look for in a good romance.

Lastly, I just want to mention the setting of a successful lesbian bar was actually a lot of fun. Ullrich did a good job of letting the bar enhance the storyline. My only complaint, for the book, is I thought one spot of angst was a little forced. Berit started acting a little too unlike her character for me to really believe it. Luckily, the ending was pretty sweet and helped to turn my one complaint around.

If you are an Ullrich fan don’t hesitate to grab this one. This is actually my second favorite of hers only behind Life in Death. If you are a romance fan I think this book will click off many of the boxes that you are looking for. This was a good read and I hope that I will enjoy Ullrich’s next book just as much.

An ARC was given to me by BSB for a honest review.

Cocktail vs Coyote Ugly

Definitely Coyote Ugly, despite the absence of the romance I was looking for, Violet, Lil, Zoe and Rachel made it worthwhile and Love At The Last Call was the good enough read for the weekend to accompany The Masters and Stanley Tucci's movie marathon.

I was a bit hesitant at first, a hot bar owner + bartender - Oh Mojito, please don't let her be the I'm the God Gift To Women type. Berit, Wait ,what? What kind of name is that?
Well according to the Urban Dictionary ⬇️

"Best person you will ever meet. She is kindhearted, nice , awesome, and has the biggest boobs you will ever see. Everyone loves her and wants to date her. When you have a Berit on you side there nothing you can't do. She is strong and will protect her friends and loved ones at all times. She is loved by all and is the most popular among kids and adults"

Yup, that pretty much summed up Berit except for the big boobs and being popular with the kids as no kids featured in this story. Berit's passion towards her bar and everything that came with it was clear from the start. It was more than just business, Berit had the objective of making it as a safe and entertaining place for women to hangout / mingle /have a great time and served with well thought out drinks with phenomenal names, that woman didn't have a single bad bone in her.

I enjoyed the bar scenes, Berit's interactions with her sister / business partner and the rest of the staffs were always casual and never over the line, Ms.Ullrich wrote some of the secondary characters interesting enough, I was interested to learn more about them.

The Romance.. Have you watched You've Got Mail?
If yes, remember the scene where Kathleen got sick and Joe visited her at her apartment with a bouquet of Daisies, made her tea with honey and Kathleen kept asking him why was he there again and again. Well I became Kathleen and kept asking Berit why Lauren because I couldn't feel it + I was never a fan of Lauren. However, their intimate scenes did give some workouts to the thighs.

Since Ms.Ullrich had been tempting her readers with the drinks featured in the book, I was happy to see a recipe for one of the most special cocktails at the end of the story. Recommended ? If you love Coyote Ugly and a remarkable + hot bar owner, why not.

3.5 stars

Pros
*Low levels of angst
*Good leads
*Sexy bartenders
*Fluff

Cons
*Underdeveloped secondary characters
*Both leads had character inconsistency at times
*Pretty standard plot

Overall a nice read despite the book's flaws. The biggest hit to the rating is how Lauren is a pushover everywhere and with everyone except when she's with Berit. And Berit also had similar problems in how she treats Lauren throughout the book. The housemates, especially Rebecca seemed underdeveloped for the role they play in the book.

But other than that, it's a nice read with good leads, especially Berit. And I have a taste for sexy bartenders, so there is that.

Wow, what a story – Awesome leads, awesome setting. Awesome leads, awesome chemistry. Awesome pacing, awesome dog, awesome characters. Awesome story, with the perfect amount of heat.

Berit and Lauren are well-fleshed out, three dimensional characters. Their story sucked me in from the get-go. Being so invested in them kept me flipping the pages at breakneck speed.

It’s fair to say, I loved everything about this story. It’s also fair to say, it’s not often you’ll hear me say that.

I started this book 2 days ago and had to take a break from reading it because this author has managed to make me hate another one of her characters. Rosi's review actually mentions a lot of the points that I have an issue with in this book.

The main one being the character of Lauren. How is it possible for this woman to be completely spineless with the awful people she shares a house with but manage to be rude, judgmental, condescending and snobby when it comes to Berit? The author spent so much time on Lauren trying to convince herself that she was not interested in Berit that when it finally did happen, I had already lost interest. Their romantic connection became a case of insta love for me.

As for Berit though I do like her character a lot more than Lauren, she also every now and then would act like she had a personality change. One second she is being firm with Lauren about her terrible behavior and the next she's back to treating her with kid gloves. Don't even get me started on her childish behavior towards the end of the book.

It's obvious some readers love this book but I am not one of them. Only a 2,5* rating for this one.

Lauren Daly is unsatisfied with her life. She's bullied by her boss, her housemates are irritating and her love life is a mess. Almost every evening she goes to a lesbian bar to escape her reality. Berit Matthews is the owner of a successful lesbian bar and has the reputation of a player. When she meets Lauren she wants to casually date her but Lauren is fed up of players. Slowly they become friends and support each other with their issues but is it friendship their only way forward?

This is a slow-burn romance with the interesting setting of a lesbian bar. Both main characters are created skillfully, Lauren with her low self esteem and Berit with her family and relationship issues. It took me some time to warm to Lauren's personality but once I realised the reasons behind her dismissive behaviour, it's easy to like her. Berit, cheerful and sociable, is apparently her opposite but the reader also slowly discovers her fears and conflicts. Together they have great chemistry and Ms. Ullrich makes the most of their flirting and attraction. The lesbian bar is an ideal setting for this romance and the secondary characters have their own voice and stories to tell as well. The intimate scenes are hot and sizzling but the main conflict seemed to me a little forced. However, it's a great entertaining read with a group of lovable characters.

Overall, a very well written slow-burn romance. Another great book by M. Ullrich. 4 stars.

This is the summer book you have all been waiting for…

Lauren has had enough of her life in general. She decides to drown her sorrows at her local lesbian bar called The Doll House. Berit (owner of said bar) is attracted to Lauren from the get go and would very much like to hang up her lothario hat and woo Lauren. But first, she must convince Lauren she’s not just the player image she personifies but exactly what Lauren wants in a girlfriend. Lauren and Berit have their ups and downs on the road to love… but what a journey they have!

I want to leave my version of the story there because you don’t want a hint of a spoiler with this book… just enjoy the ride.

First off, I have to give a massive shout out to M. Ullrich who has just upped the ante big time with this novel. It’s exciting, addictive (I was up all night reading it) and still gave me all the major swoon moments I’ve come to love from this author.

Lauren and Berit’s story was one I’ll never forget and honestly, it’s a book I’ll re-read time and time again. There isn’t the usual angst at play in this book and it’s one of the reasons I adore it so much. Don’t get me wrong, there is the twist we’ve come to expect but there’s no doubt in my mind these characters get their happy ending and I loved that it was written that way. My favourite parts in this book are the moments where it’s just Lauren and Berit and the world is silenced by their dialogue… especially Lauren, who at moments had me riveted by her honesty and candidness but then left me hot as hell by her secret sexy self!

If you read my reviews you’ll know I love nothing better than a butch or androgynous woman and M. Ullrich blew every other character I love in lesfic out of the water for me when she created Berit. She’s amazing and I knew I’d love her and be swooning most of the book when I read her profile but what floored me was her personality. She’s androgynous with a hint of butch, she confident but has a vulnerable side, and she’s a player but has a big heart and wants nothing more than to give it to Lauren.

What I didn’t expect was how much I’d love Lauren… she’s the girl next door but a secretly sexy minx. At the start of the book Lauren’s low self-esteem made me sad because she’s amazing; smart, sexy as hell and then as she begins to gain confidence you begin to get to know this awesome chick that knows what she wants and by god, is she going to go for it. Lauren shocked me more than once with her moments of confidence… I actually found myself shouting “Go Lauren” on a couple of occasions!

The chemistry between Lauren and Berit is combustible and I think this book has not only the best sex scene I’ve ever read by M. Ullrich but also the best I’ve read this year in Lesfic. Not to mention the scene where Lauren and Berit kiss for the first time… like wow! It’s possibly the best first kiss to date (and I read Georgia Beers books… so you know it must be awesome!!!).

I absolutely loved the characters in this book, even the secondary characters had me enthralled. So much so I have to mention Jennifer. Jennifer is a friend of Berit’s and is interested in Lauren romantically. I really hope M. Ullrich finds a way to write a book about her in a stand-alone novel, I even know who I’d pick as a love interest…

All in all, this is the best book M Ullrich has ever written so do yourself a favour and go buy it now… I promise you’re going to thank me. Big time.

Can I give it more than 5 stars? No? Please?
Ok then… A massive 5 stars!!!

This made me happy and I really enjoyed reading it. Berit, sexily androgynous flirt, owns and runs ‘The Dollhouse’ lesbian bar in New Jersey. When Lauren comes in one evening with her friend and shuts her down in no uncertain terms, Berit can’t help but be intrigued. Lauren is having a rough time at work with a boss who thinks it’s okay to treat the paralegals like trash and her home life isn’t much of an improvement.

There are a lot of great characters in this novel that give it a nice depth and diversity. Berit is instantly likeable with her easy going, genuine nature in spite of the tension in her family relationships. That is, until she gets angry. Lauren is much more complicated with a low self-esteem which colours the way she engages with those around her.

All the elements for a good romance are here: great chemistry, engaging dialogue, little bit of angst, well-rounded characters and some falling in love.

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

M Ullrich is a nice author. I've read two works by her, a short story in 'Boss of Her' and the full length novel titled 'Fortunate Sum'. Here's the thing, I did love all her works but there is a teeny tiny bit in the story which somehow screws things up.

In 'Fortunate Sum' there was unnecessary drama in the end, and in this book too the drama was a wee out of place.

This story was great. The characters were nice (though it took some time for me to like Lauren), the supporting characters were bloody amazing, the dialogue is funny and the sex scenes are well written.

But then there's the drama at the end which just killed me a bit on the inside. It might be just me but there were a lot of loose ends according to me.

I love stories set in bars. Even though I'm not that into alcohol, I like reading about how bars work and how craft cocktails are made. This book nails that.

I may have a teeny tiny crush on Berit. She's a perfect person, well almost. She's caring, understanding, and not a pushover. Ooh and she has a mean temper. I liked her instantly, while I kinda hated Lauren in the beginning. She was so low on confidence and kept putting herself down. Ugh. Thank god she got better as the book progressed.

For once I was so invested in the supporting Characters than the leads. They're gold I tell you!

The verdict: This book is great. Really. This author is a favourite of mine inspite of her love for drama. I'd instantly drop everything to read a book of hers. This being no exception. So yea go ahead and read it.

ARC received via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The only other Ullrich story I’ve read was part of an anthology, so I wanted to give a longer story a go. I wasn’t blown away by this, it was just ok. Basic premise is that Berit owns a bar, which Lauren ends up in, they become friends and Lauren ends up working for Berit after she loses her job and they fall for each other.

The problem is that Lauren is really unlikeable, she’s an insecure doormat of a character with little to no backbone. She’s also judgemental and continually treats Berit (who inexplicably keeps coming to her rescue) badly by making the same assumption about her over and over. Her situation with her ex also had me feeling no sympathy.

Berit is very sweet and kind, and deserves better than Lauren. I loved the scenes with her and her sister, she’s also great to her staff and customers. Her only flaw is her temper, and in all honesty I felt like she was given that particular flaw just to drive the last piece of drama.

There’s also some dating of other people, which I’m not a fan of, and Berit’s family drama, which spills over onto her work isn’t particularly interesting and is also solved pretty easily in the end. I liked Berit, most of the scenes that take place at the bar, and sometimes even some of the scenes with Berit and Lauren, but Lauren would eventually say something insensitive, or be too needy and ruin it. If I’d liked Lauren, I’d have liked the book more, but I just couldn’t warm to her. 2.5 stars.

Give me some angst every day of the week, not in real life, hell no, but in a romance, I live for it. Add that into a good old-fashioned romance and you will have me every time. That's exactly what M. Ullrich does with her latest novel, Love at Last Call.

Lauren Daly's life is a hot mess. Her relationship is off-again, a nightmare situation, because she is forced to continue to live with, said ex because she and her roommate cannot afford the house they currently rent without that extra income. Lauren's a paralegal but her salary and rent doesn't leave a whole lot extra for the serious student loan debt she faces. Add onto that heap that her boss is a tyrant who blames everyone for his ongoing memory failures.

Berit Matthews owns the hottest lesbian bar in New Jersey. Berit has no trouble attracting women, she oozes charisma and has the looks to stop traffic. This good-natured bar owner loves her craft, is a savvy businesswoman and knows when to turn on the charm to keep her patrons coming back for more. Berit has a way with the ladies and isn't opposed to casual hookup but she definitely has one eye opened looking for that special someone to settle down with.

Lauren meets Berit one evening after an especially brutal day at the office. Her bestie drags her out for drinks and she meets Berit who rubs her the wrong way almost immediately. Berit is not phased at all, more than anything she wants to no more about the sad yet dynamic paralegal. Let the romancing begin!

Lauren and Berit have a dynamite chemistry. Lauren pushes back at every move Berit puts on her. Their romance, the little bit of angst and hesitation keep you on your toes and the pages turning. This is a book I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great romance. Loved it!

Netgally Review:

The story was okay. Ullrich is very hit or miss with me. I think it is written well and I was captured throughout the story but I didn't always connect with the characters or their motivations. Especially Lauren, why did she allow people in her life to treat her that way for so long? Also, it sort of seemed like the obstacles to the two main characters getting together were magnified for no reason. The writing and the flow were great tho. I recommend this to anyone who wants a fun book to read in one sitting.

I like M. Ulrich’s stories. After having read Life After Death I was sure to get my hands on her latest novel. Love at Last Call was another goodread for me. The author made sure that the struggles of Lauren in her professional and personal life can also be felt by the readers and it reminds me that same shit happens to everyone. unlike in some fiction that spending an overpriced cup of coffee or going out to dinner sound like a no biggie even if the character has no stable job or still paying a loan, M Ulrich made sure to remind you the reality of having less or no income.
My least favorite part in this book were the cheesy ones mainly in the epilogue. And I love good resolutions, but if it sounds so convenient it’s minus points for me. overall a cute story worthy to read.

Love at Last Call is M. Ullrich’s fifth full-length novel and it’s truly excellent. Berit and Lauren have chemistry that crackles from their first failed conversation all the way to the epilogue, as their relationship develops from antagonistic acquaintances to friends to lovers. The writing is smooth and engaging, with perfect pacing and a plot that’s sure to please fans of contemporary romance. If you’re looking for a book to sink into, have some fun, and get away from it all, you’ll want to pick this one up.

I need a cocktail!

Dealing with an ex, frustrating home situation and a job that sucks so yes, Lauren is unhappy with how her life goes. For Berit, a woman full of confidence and with a heart of gold, The Dollhouse is everything for her. She enjoys life to the fullest. I wish I could become a regular at The Dollhouse and meet the amazing crew. I loved that Berit didn't give up on her regardless of all the wrong assumptions. A heartwarming and emotional romance. It is fast paced and flow smoothly from the beginning to the end. It was a delightful escape from reality and I highly recommend it.

Berit Matthews works the bar at The Dollhouse where lesbians are always welcome. What others don’t know is she is also the owner. Hot and sexy Berit has no problems meeting women who like her are only interested in having some fun. Lauren Daly works as a paralegal at a law office where she feels she not even noticed but for when something goes wrong. Got to blame someone and Lauren makes it easy to do. At home it isn’t any better. Her roommates take her money but has little respect for Lauren. Lauren’s looking for a til death does us part relationship. After losing her job she goes to the Dollhouse where she meets and talks with Berit who offers her a job. Really good read. Liked it very much.

Detailed score: 3.25

I’m not as big a fan of angst as some of the other lesrom reviewers on this site but this one was so sweet I swear some of my teeth are rotten.

Also: I usually fall in love with my characters the more the book progresses and I get to know them. Not this book. I wanted to shake our sole lens, Lauren, and tell her to grow a backbone. I seriously struggled to see what our other least saw in her.

Despite these downsides though, it was generally well written and Entertaining and got my dose of swoon.

Overall: too sweet for my tastes but a nice beach read

Hmmmm. I had to stop quite a few times while reading this.
Good thing this is not a first person POV especially Lauren’s POV or I will probably gave up on this.
I really hate doormat or submissive characters.
I can understand her situation regarding her boss from hell but with regards to the house situation I find it very annoying because she got a choice.
She’s paying 3/4 of the rent and all including food, her friend and her hogwash girlfriend are both free loaders, a user ex girlfriend. Her life is overkill!
I do feel bad for Lauren, who doesn’t right? But I just feel annoyed with how she deals with it.

With Berit, she’s totally the opposite of Lauren. She’s actually close to perfect. She’s actually on my top 5 favorite butch characters. She’s likable except on the part on how she treats Lauren after the club incident.
I find it weird that she’s waiting for Lauren to call her and make the first move even though she knows it’s actually her fault. I was actually waiting for her to make the first move to approve to Lauren that she’s worth fighting for. Too bad it’s still Lauren. Another submissive act. Whew!

I was actually thinking of giving this a 3 but because of the Epilogue I changed my mind. :))

Really cross: loved this book and as coming to the climax, builder arrived, back to book, plumber arrived (wrong house!) Back to the book - And then Inspector arrived whilst builders out for lunch. Quite destroyed the flow. But it was class, as you'd expect from Ms MU.

Wow I'm at loss for words with this book, firstly I think M. Ullrich need to open this bar so we can all hang out and look longingly at Berit Matthews she is hotness wrapped up in an awesome package. Then add in Lauren and the hotness gets hotter. I'm so glad I finally read this book it was everything I expected and more. The story is well written and had me hooked from the first page. I love this authors writing style, the way her words flow from one scene to the next kept me engaged in the story. I can't wait to read more by this author.

Oh dear god, I went from reading The Art of Peeling an Orange (incredible and mind-bending, in the best possible way), to this dross. It felt like my brain was knocking on the inside of my skull and peering down at my hands holding the kindle shouting "What the fuck? Give us something worthwhile!" I got a free copy on the basis that I'd write a fair review and that is honestly the only reason I finished this book.

Before I launch into some into discussing characters, writing, editing etc. there's one really major issue I have with this book. You know they way all of the campaigns for women's rights, the metoo movement and programmes to educate people about preventing sexual assault mention something about respecting a woman's right to say no? The need to acknowledge and accept that no and to understand that it means no and that "only yes means yes". You all know that, well in the last line before the sappy wrap it all up neatly epilogue, rich, commanding, toppy butch (Stereotype McCliché to her mates) says to her whingy femme, Damsel: "What did I do to deserve you?" The response, "You didn't take no for an answer". Stereotype butch hits on Damsel first time they meet and gets shot down, same the second time, third time...you get the pattern. I know this is fiction but surely it's not the best message to be sending; that if someone you like turns you down just give them a job (in you bar called "The Dollhouse") and keep buying them drinks until they're so drunk, desperate and depressed with how screwed up their life is that they'll go home with you! Ok, this being a lesfic romance there are feelings involved too but that is what actually happens.

'No' issue aside, it's still a poor excuse for a novel. BSB need to get themselves some new editors, or give their current ones a kick up the ass because far too many of their recent releases have had whole sections (if not plotlines) that should have fallen victim to the red pen. (Cari Hunter's Alias is an honourable exception here.) Also, shoddy attention to detail like Damsel being fired because her lawyer boss can never remember which of his two paralegals he's asked to do what and he's pissed off when Sally appears in court rather than Damsel. (how the fuck did anyone decide that could go past the first draft?). Calling the bar "The Dollhouse" is also a very weird male-gaze-y thing for me (as is describing Damsels' mouth as "pillow-like"!).

Anyway, I did not like this book, which is a pity as I quite enjoyed "Faking It" the only other M. Ullrich book I've read.

I adored this book. It made me so gloriously happy and I could not put it down.

Lauren's life is falling apart. Her job is torture, her ex is sleeping on her couch (and sometimes in her bed), her roommate's girlfriend won't contribute to the rent, and the bills are piling up. She's miserable. Berrit doesn't see any of that, she sees a challenge and a fascination with the woman with the sad eyes. She owns The Dollhouse, a lesbian bar in New Jersey. Berrit is determined to help Lauren any way that she can, and as the two women grow closer, they realize assumptions really do make a mess of things. Can they put their differences behind them, for the intense attraction and growing affection between them?

This book had an amazing cast of characters - some you loved and some you loved to hate. Each one was unique and added their own little flair to the story. Of course, Berrit's dog Hugo was an absolute show stopper. Berrit was a fantastic character - her confidence was gorgeous, and her creativity and her heart, breathtaking. Lauren was oh so frustrating sometimes - but admittedly its only because she was so real and true I think you could see yourself in her character. The insecurities, the not believing you're good enough. I'm glad she gained a little confidence over the course of the book and I'm glad she found a supportive partner to be by her side. Their romance was perfectly balanced and nicely paced. Their chemistry was seriously off the charts. Yum! I think M. Ullrich outdid herself!

I wish the Dollhouse was real, and I hope one day we'll all have the privilege of walking into a bar that is a special and safe place like the Dollhouse is. It sounds perfect. Ullrich did a fantastic job creating a gorgeous place - I loved all the detail with the craft beers and carefully chosen cocktails.

I loved seeing Genevieve and Harper make a small cameo appearance in this one, and the gummy bear martini stole the scene.

Also the last line in this book has to be one of the most perfect lines I've ever seen in my life. The author should be extremely proud of themselves!!!!

I expect I'll be reading this book again soon and buying the paperback as soon as I can! I look froward to what comes net from this author.

Quick story of a woman who seems to be on a run of bad luck—loss of her paralegal job, break up with her model girlfriend again, and trapped with horrible roommates. Feeling empathetic for her, yet? Except that Lauren herself was whiny, self centered, and shallow and I disliked her from almost page 1.

It’s hard to finish reading a book when you don’t care at all about the main character and there’s really no plot. The best part of the book and what I felt could have made really good stories were the other characters, Berit, Lauren’s new love interest and boss at a hot Lesbian bar; Rosa, a mysterious bar patron; and Bellamy, both a server and a beautiful and lovely woman who was both a friend and casual lover of Berit’s. Bellamy really shone on the page and I was clueless as to how she and Berit, who was a big old sweetheart, never fell head over heels over each other. Match made in book heaven. Or even the romance of Bellamy and Rosa, a subtle character who definitely piqued my interest, seemed like the perfect slow burn/May-December romance and would have been great to read. Just okay for me. I read this book courtesy of NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I have to say if I were asked today who my favorite lesfic author is, it would hands down be M. Ullrich. I have yet to find a book I don’t like. I love her writing style, the way the story flows, the chemistry the characters have... it all works for me. “Life in Death” will probably always be my favorite book but this is just as good in a feel good, little bit of angst, kind of way. I love animals in stories and I greatly enjoyed Hugo being a part of it. Berit is quite the character... I really didn’t expect to like her, I expected your typical playgirl womanizer and she really is just a wonderful character. She plays a huge part in being a supportive, thoughtful and positive advocate to Lauren who struggled with several issues. If more women supported other women just a little bit like Berit, this world would be a better place. Also, can we please get a real place like the Dollhouse? 5 Stars.

I have yet to be disappointed by M.Ullrich, so far I have enjoyed all of this authors book and this was no different.

There was nothing spectacular about the story but I found the characters to be well fleshed out and easy to like. The only character that I had a hard time liking was Lauren and that was because of her constant doorstop mentality.

This is a good book if you are looking for a light read which you can finish in a day.

An honest review thanks to NetGalley. Wow. I loved this book, awesome characters, amazing chemistry and a feel-good plot that made me not able to put this book down. This was a book that all romance lovers will love instantly. It left me with a warm gooey feel-good glow when I finished reading. Obviously, there were some parts where I was frustrated but the plot and characters worked it's self out that in my mind it was all worth it. Fantastic read!
