Mike is days away from getting out of jail. But he has a big problem - he's being tormented again. This time, it's extra nasty. He's convinced that Linda is back to make his life hell.<
Linda was enjoying Heaven until Mike started screaming for her attention. She's not interested in helping him - she just wants him to go the hell away. She doesn't have much choice, though, when she's summarily kicked into Hell for tormenting Mike... despite her protestations of innocence.
Trent, as per usual, is stuck in the middle, trying to work out what the hell is going on.

I grew up in a little country town called Walla Walla. A tiny place - about 600 people and a Lutheran church that, ironically, could seat all of them. Walla Walla had one big thing going for it - a lack of FUN trouble to get into. So when I was a kid, I spent most of my leisure time reading. And writing. And imagining weird stuff. I come by that talent naturally, you know - my mother has a nutty imagination and a nuttier sense of humour.
I grew up, moved to the Big Smoke, made a few dumb mistakes, grew up some more, and eventually realised that I'd always wanted to be a writer. So I started writing again. I wrote, and wrote, and eventually DEAD(ish) turned up in my head, almost fully-fledged, and I decided that Linda, Mike and Trent might just make me famous. *snicker*
I live in Brisbane, Queensland. I spend my days freelancing, writing books, and reading other people's books.
I'm a sucker for Katharine Kerr's Deverry series, Anne McCaffrey's Pern books, and Mercedes Lackey's everything. Less book-related - I'm a vegetarian, fierce feminist, and liberal christian. I wear my hair kd-lang-short, but usually brightly coloured.
A nice quick read, perfect for those who want some light hearted and silly fun. This book had a better plot than the previous two and was more entertaining as well.
It's an amusing trot through Heaven and Hell. If you like a light, silly read, I highly recommend this one. The profanity was a little excessive this time around. It's fast paced, but not rushed. Jumping back and fourth from the first person perspective of each character is unique, and makes for a nice break from the usual reading experience.
I always get a good laugh out of this series. Basically, Mike, the guy who killed Linda thinks that she is terrorizing him for giggles. Linda is trying to figure out what is going on when she is sent to Hell. There she meets the other women that Mike dated and then killed. Talk about women scorned! These women are not messing around! This whole series is a must read!

This was a fun, fast series. I wanted to read them all (so far I hope-hint hint Ms. Kramer) before making my review. There were times I laughed out loud. I sincerely hope that Heaven is close to the way its been described in these stories! Very entertaining!
