Patrick Peterson was finally home at his Peterson estate in Thomasville city after being his chosen brother's bodyguard for the past two months. His brother, George Jr. Jones, had a brain operation at the Lord Winsor Private Hospital. The operation was performed by Dr. Lord Winsor in Winsor Town, England. While Patrick was guarding George from six o'clock in the morning until twelve a.m., Patrick's agent, Kathleen James, was guarding him for six hours, from midnight until six a.m., so Patrick would get a chance to get some sleep before he started another shift in looking after his brother once again. One day, he was just coming out of George's room when Kathleen was about to knock on his hospital door. Out of the blue, she asked Patrick how his three-and-a-half-year-old little girl, Sabrina, was. Patrick was shocked because no one knew that he had a little girl. He pulled Kathleen hard against his chest, whispering in her ear that she better tell him how she knew about his little girl, Sabrina, if she knew what was good for her.
It wasnt that I didnt like it. It's that I would get lost. The transitions in the story were hard to follow. It almost felt like the story was written in a rush.
The Nouveau Riche by Olga Alexander is a novel which narrates the story of a girl named Bernadette and her struggle and how the people around her make fool of her. In the beginning, It seemed like the story of a man Patrick Peterson his daughter Sabrina and Bernadette. Bernadette was a girl brought up in an orphanage but she had rich parents and a brother. The story moves how Bernadette a girl from orphan become a nouveau riche.
The story the characters narrated comes and goes as the story was so rushing and the life of Bernadette was a mess but she had some value than others in the story who took advantage of her and fooled her and there was a lot of adultery in the story. The climax was ok, not good because as it was like in mid of the story where something good happens and twist. There were lots of twists and turns and it makes Bernadette confused what to believe or not.
There were a few grammar mistakes also. This is a long book with 615 pages. It took a lot of time to complete it. I finally completed it and was happy.
In this book Someone I liked and felt bad for the way her life was going was Bernadette. She was such a strong woman who had a lot of guts to go through to a lot of ups and downs in her life.
To be honest, I only made it halfway through. It was too hard to keep reading through the grammatical errors and wildly fluctuating plot. I'm not sure what was even happening.
The novel "THE NOUVEAU RICHE" by OLGA ALEXANDER tells the story of a girl named BERNADETTE ,who has been started her life unexpectedly and the cruelty and pain she experience in life from others. In this novel we can see that the waves of life are taking her into darkness and fake relationships. The novel depicts the conditions that are still happening in today's society. The main thing is that she was an orphan, and she was trapped by those she loved the most. All of these things are more than affordable for a person. But, she continues to move forward in life without giving up hope.
The character Patrick in the novel shed tears because of his memories .... This verse shows that memories also play a big role in life and that one can live happily with memories.
The first part of the novel is very promising, But those expectations do not last until the end of the novel.....rare flower is the word in the novel which gives more beauty to that particular situation.. And most of the dialogues between characters are not realistic. It took lots of time to complete because this is a book containing 615 pages.... I give 2 out of 5 for this book.. Life is full of ups and downs we have to overcome that all paths as like "BERNADETTE".
I decided not to finish reading the book because it needs to be edited for frequent grammar and punctuation errors that make it difficult to read. Some developmental editing would help to make the story read more easily too. This was clearly a passion project for the author, Olga Alexander, and I hope she can see it get the kind of thorough, caring edit such a personally valuable work should have for a successful publication.
