I picked this audiobook because I like the works of Edgar Allan Poe and because I love the voice of Christopher Lee... and to have Christopher Lee read something in German was intriguing enough to make me buy it.

The readings by various people are all great, though I of course have preferences for certain voices, but I think everyone who listens to audiobooks does.

The second part, which mostly consists of songs inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's works is a bit hit or miss. I loved some of the songs, disliked others - but looking at the bands that are involved, I pretty much knew that going in. Some of them are just not my kind of music or I dislike the singer's voice or something like that.

All in all, definitely worth buying and I can see myself listening to it (at least the first half) more than once
