Things just has a way of kicking me when I’m down. When the girl of my dreams comes back to New York City and doesn’t refrain from seeking me out, I know it’s only a matter of time before the other shoe drops and things hits the fan. Someone is hunting Lost Breed members and they’re not being shy about it. A man with a violent past has thrown his lot in with the Black hearts and their new leader is keen on our destruction. Our death. It’s my responsibility to keep my girl safe - no matter the cost- no matter the risk. But I could never have foreseen how everything would go down.
Ali Parker is a full-time contemporary and new adult romance writer with more than a hundred and twenty books behind her. She loves coffee, watching a great movie, and hanging out with her hubs. By hanging out, she means making out. The man is hot. Hello. She’s a creative at heart and loves coming up with more ideas than any one person should be allowed to access. She lives in Tennessee with her hubs, teenage son, two grown daughters, and two love-of-her-life grandbabies! Telling a good story that revives hope, reminds us of love, and gives a vacation from life is all she’s up to.
Sabian has seen the other members having a great time with their wives and or girlfriends. Maybe it is time for him to find one but no one can replace his first love.
Angela has come to NY to live the life she wants and she told her parents she was moving to be with her boyfriend/ fiancé. She got the job she wanted as a journalist but right now her boss gives her a fluff piece to work on.
When Angela shows up at the shop Sabian tries to keep her at bay. With Axel being her older brother things will not go well.
Is this going to work between them and can they handle the death of one member and The Hand?
Loving the series time line is still a bit off but other wise the story is getting better and we get to see more and more of the lives from the other members.
The book started off fine. It was hard for me to relate to Angela at first because being high maintenance. While there's nothing wrong with that if arrogance and bitchery isn't involved, it's so foreign to me to be that caught up in clothing that I had a hard time caring very much about her character. At first. She's actually pretty awesome.
Sabian was also mostly cool. I had reservations about reading his book because he was such a manwhore before and said some pretty crass things. I wasn't happy about him getting a book. He seemed not as bad in this book except for the many occasions when he or someone else mentioned that the girls he usually slept with were sluts and not as good as Angie.
The death broke my heart. I'm so sad about it still. Very very sad. He was slutty and gross, but he was growing on me.
The reason I rated the book so low is that Sabian got all turned on by some random in a coffee shop. While he didn't go with her or initiate or accept advances, he did lust after her and talked about how hot she was when describing her. He was already with Angie at this point, so it was even more unacceptable than if it were to have happened before they got together. Totally gross, basically mental cheating, and doesn't at all belong in a romance. He should have ignored her and brushed her off without getting all aroused by her. It was nasty. Books like this will never get a high rating from me. I don't like that garbage. It's not sexy or romantic and doesn't belong in romance books.
I haven't read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had a very hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!
“I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book”
This is the fourth book in The Lost Breed Mc Series by Ali Parker and it is just as compelling as the first three. Angela is Axel's sister [he was the main 'hero' in book 2] and they come from the very wealthy Cooper family based in California- that is why Axel is living in New York far away from his parents as he did not want their lifestyle. Angela wants a life and career of her own too but her parents don't want that. However, she persuades them to let her get her degree in journalism then she gets a job at the New York Times and they only let her live there because she says that she is engaged to a man living there! She has visited Axel three years previously and met Sabian part of the same Lost breed MC. He is everything that she wants in a man and she is the woman of his dreams - but Axel isn't going to be happy with them together. This is a fast paced story with 3-dimensional characters that I almost feel as if I 'know' them. This can be read as a standalone story but if you read this first I am fairly certain that you'll then want to go read the other three books too. There is drama, angst, murder, sorrow, determination, devotion, and [plenty of red hot passion between Angela and Sabian], and retribution. once I started reading this book, I just couldn't put it down and read it in one go - finishing in the early hours of the morning. But it was worth it as this is a tremendous storyline with plenty of action. I can't wait for the next story by Ali Parker as this book illustrates beautifully why she is, quite rightly, a top USA best selling author. I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.
Okay so I made it t0 book 4--barely. Believe it or not, I actually like this book more than the other 3 books. So, I am not going to talk about the lack of the Motorcycle Club element. If you have read my other 3 reviews, you already know that I feel that this is more of a Romantic Suspense book-rather than a Motorcycle Club, and the lack of motorcycles is just the tip of the iceberg.
I fell in love with Sabian from the other books, so I was really looking forward to reading his story. I love Sabian and Angela together. Angela is of course, Axel's baby sister. So, this was like a forbidden love story. Axel didn't want his baby sister in the MC life, but that soon changed when Angela moved to New York City for her dream job.
Little miss rich girl convince Sabian to be her fake fiancé because of the lie she told her parents--they wouldn’t have let her move to New York City otherwise. True to the Parker's writing style, this book was written from both Sabian and Angela's point of view, which I love. The chemistry between the two main characters were steamy right from the start. This could be because they both had a crush on each other the first time they meet. I feel this book has great character development compared to the other 3 books. The characters were somewhat more interesting and well-developed (including those characters from books 1-3). Out of all four books in the series, this book had the most interesting story. The plot, like the characters, were well developed. I like the fact that all the women in the series are independent and strong. Storyline was amazing. Suspense...dramatic...was best so far...never saw that coming. I can say for certain that I was not disappointed with this installment of The Lost Breed MC.
Sabian is the fourth in this series and centers around Axel's (book 2) sister, Angela and MC member, Sabian. This, like the other books can be read as a standalone, but is monumentally better if read in order. There is an underling story arc revolving around a rival MC that continues throughout the books and you get to see the relationships from previous books continue to develop. As with everything I've read from Ali Parker, this is well written and the story and characters will developed and continually evolving. I love the chemistry between Angela and Sabian, the are positively combustible together. After reading the whole series to this point, I feel like I know some of these characters. As a result of that, and the detailed writing, I ran the gambit of emotions with this story. Throughout the book I was laughing and crying, getting hot and bothered, and experiencing the love and heartbreak right along with them. I really can't say enough about Sabian. I truly loved reading this book. I'm really hoping there is more to come from this family of bikers. Do yourself a favor and 1-click this bad boy, and if you're ready for an even better experience, get them all. At the end of Sabian there are previews for the previous three novels; Ryder, Axle and Jax. Get comfy, grab a drink, tissues and dry panties and enjoy the ride.
Sabian is the fourth book in The Lost Breed Series and is a part of The Lost Breed MC Box Set (Books #1 - 10). I binged this series back-to-back and found a dark MC romance series with all the ingredients needed to make for engrossing reading. Everything from action, violence, revenge, intrigue, drama, danger, tension, bad boys, high stakes, emotion, chemistry, steam, suspense, challenges, angst, family dynamic/drama, sweet and tender scenes, vulnerability, passion, band of brothers, sinister foes, agendas, secrets, and more. And with all the tropes that we know and love like opposites attract, second chances, protective Alpha-type males, damsels in distress, chosen family, ride-or-die, finding love unexpectedly, single parent, risking it all for love, redemption, eye for an eye, romantic suspense, and good girl/bad boy ---- just to name a few. This was such a great introduction to the author’s work, and even though this is my first time between her covers, it certainly won’t be the last. If you love MC romance and all the sexy, intriguing, suspenseful details that come with a band of bad boy finding their ‘one’- then this is definitely the books/series for you. Happy Reading…
I read this book as part of an arc program. I love this series and this book is another great one. Sabian is a member of the Lost Breed MC and works at the motorcycle repair shop. Sabian is also unlucky in love, when he dates a woman, he usually ends up messing up and being alone. He is starting to feel lonely and jealous of his friends that have found love. When Axel's little sister comes to NYC and starts working at the New York Times, she tells a lot of lies in order for her parents to allow her to move. When she told them she had a fiancée in New York, they want to meet him at her cousin's wedding. Angela asks Sabian if he will pretend to be her boyfriend, he agrees, as long as Axel doesn't find out. Axel had warned Sabian to stay away from Angela, only Sabian really wants to be with her. When Sabian and Angela decide to be together, danger comes and threatens everyone in the Lost Breed as well as their families. Angela vows to try to help the guys any way she can. I love this book, I loved Sabian, I think he is a big softy under his hard exterior and Angela brought it out and showed him he was loved. Good one.
The Lost Breed MC is back with Sabien and the feisty fact finder Angela! Knowing there is always a chance of threat from the rival MC they've broken down previously, they aren't too surprised when things start heating up again. Unfortunately, those things take a deadly turn, one they may not be able to outmaneuver, Sabian needs to distance himself from his once lost love, he is not the only one who will be devastated if something happens to her because of all this! Keeping the stubborn journalist out of the line of fire will be much harder than he anticipates. Can he keep her safe and help out his brothers? I am very invested in The Lost Breed MC Family! Each story is a unique, suspenseful, crazy train of feels that is full of broken hearts, bruised egos, dark clouds, grittiness weaved throughout, Phew, all combined with a passionate love story! This well written emotional rollercoaster was no exception! Move over boys Sabian is my new favorite! I highly suggest checking this one out! As well as the others in the series!
At first I was hesitant to continue this series but oh so glad I did. Ali and Weston once again did not disappoint! Sabian ran alone, except for his Lost Breeds MC. He looked at what Ryder and Axel had and couldn’t deny he kind of wanted love in his life too. But the MC was his life and I don’t know if I wanted to drag someone in with me. Angela hadn’t seen her brother Axel for 3yrs., she came to visit him in New York and fell in love with both the city and possibly one of his MC brothers Sabian. When Angela gets a job with the New York Times, she moves from LA away from her overbearing, rich parents and takes steps to be her own person. She runs into Sabian and when they lock eyes will they be able to ignore the feelings they have? Sabian knew Angela was Axel’s baby sister which meant “hands off” But could he? Angela is tired of everyone making decisions for her life. She’s a grown woman and doesn’t need her brother forcing his will. See if they can truly become the couple Angela wants to have with Sabian.
SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION!!! Hey guys, if you're looking for a fast paced, action packed, thrilling rollercoaster ride of emotions and unexpected danger that captivates you from the start. Congrats my friends you've just stepped off in it. The characters and scenes were realistic, intriguing and complex with a undeniable connection between the two main characters. Talk about off the charts, white hot, combustible and explosive chemistry thats so hot you can feel the flames. The scenes were so vividly detailed and descriptive that gave the illusion you were right there in ground zero with them. Twists, turns, adrenaline pumping suspense that keeps your focus on this page turning bombshell. Following the characters along witnessing their personalities transform and blend. This duo did what it does best. It brought this read to a heated and explosive ending. Awesome job guys thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
Sabian was a great thrilling and suspenseful romance. Ali Parker has written another steamy romance with some really great characters, they were strong, smart and independent and love for there families. This was a story that kept you on the edge of your seat it was auction packed and one heck of a ride. I absolutely loved Sabian and Angela they really have a great connection and you can definitely feel the heat coming from the pages. I for one really enjoyed this great book and I highly recommend it. A must read you won’t want to miss. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
To get the most from this story, you should read the whole series of Lost Breed MC books. These bad boys know how to love a woman, yet be loyal and committed to their fellow MC members. Even though Angela and Sabian come from different worlds, there are undeniable sparks between them. Angela’s brother is one of the Lost Breed so she knows full well what she’s getting into. There is suspense and intrigue, as well as lots of steam. Ali knows how to start with a simmer that eventually boils over. Can’t wait for the other guys in the MC to get their story and their HEA!
I loved Sabian: Lost Breed MC Series. I just loved Sabian and Angela!! Sabian met Angela a couple of years earlier when she came to see her brother Axel. He never forgot her and she never forgot him. She needed his help and they fell in love no matter how hard they fought it. They are such a great couple. Ali Parker is a great writer and I would recommend this book and the whole Lost Breed MC Series to everyone.
I loved that these books keep building upon the bigger story but give you it from the view of a different couple. Sabian was a breathe of fresh air. I loved that he found humor in himself and Angela was definitely the perfect match for him... I have a feeling her family may play a bigger role in the future given the bit of background we were given of them but that just may be my happy thoughts... I still want to know what happened with the elusive nephew...
The lost breed stories are the absolute best. I go through them one after the other. All about a brotherhood of men in a gritty, badass, motorcycle club and the women they love. Sabian and Angela are another couple full of love and lust, fighting and gang wars. But always love wins out for a happily ever after. A+. I can’t wait to read the next one. Anything by this author is top notch!
Another captivating, action-packed read from Ms. Parker. The intense emotions evoked highlight the importance of family and friends and the off-the-charts passion, while intially frowned upon, could not be stopped in any shape, manner or form. I read this in one night, sleep is overrated, as I had to do it the justice it deserves, also I couldn't close my eyes not knowing what happened next. Definitely a one-click you don't want to miss.
As with other books by Ali Parker this book four Sabian was just great. Angela moves from Los Angeles to New York for her dream job and meets Sabian again after three years. Sparks fly and they began to see each other after her family and her brother Axel tell her not to. This was a great book four in the series and I can't wait for more!!
I chose this rating because this was a really great book. Some of the characters were very intense, but they were all there for each other. Sabian was an outstanding gentleman she he needed to be. Angela picked a good man. The Lost Breed MC are a bay bunch fellows. Great read. I recommend this book to all romance readers.
After years of carrying a torch for Ellie the female mechanic, but reluctant to draw her into the MC life, Axel finally caves. This storyline continues from Book #1, but the continuation does not detract from the suspense, the action and the story of Axel and Ellie. I recommend this book.
Love the love story but feel like we lost some continuity with previous books in the series. The name’s of the kids...who are Ava and Austin? Did Ellie & Axel have a child together along with Hanna? Did Holly have a third child to go along with Luke and Angelic? Feel like things are missing.
If you are fan of MC romance, you will love Sabian's and Angela's story. The story has it all family, loyalty to its brothers teamed with action, drama and all the romance you can handle. This is a well written story that captivates you right from the beginning. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this story for an honest review.
Amazing series and Sabian is no different. Well written. Nice storyline and plot. Great characters. Captivating and keeping you on the edge to know more. Fun, steamy, drama, protectiveness, love and lust. All mixed up in a enjoyable read.
Ali Parker is one of my favorite MC romance writers I do read a lot of other works but the MC's are my favorite. She knows how to put pen to paper and I will continue reading all of her stuff as long as she's writing, love her😘
Another good book from this series, Alex's sister comes to New York to live so she can be a journalist and Sabian is such a good guy that I just fell in love with for he plays her fake fiancé boyfriend to attend her cousins wedding. So many things happen to this couple, of course this book has plenty of hot sex! Can't wait for another book in this series.
This story didn't disappoint. Sabian and Angela are strong personalities. The story is strong, riveting, heartbreaking and heartwarming. This series is great. I would like to see additional stories in this series.
This series gets better with each book. When I first read Ryder I didn’t think I would want to continue, but I have and the books get better. I would like to read more about the previous couples in the books.
This book was a bit different than the other books in this series. I wasn't real crazy about the plot especially between the main characters. There was still some excitement and suspense. Overall, the book was decent.
