This devotional book is perfect for a police or military spouse! This is the story of a Christian Police family and how they cope with the unique stress the occupation brings. Each day has a thought provoking theme with the author’s musings on the topic. She expands in it through personal experience, bible verses, song lyrics, prayers, famous quotes and other sources of inspiration. Her personal experiences are heart felt and genuine that are unique to a family with a member who is in a dangerous service position. Reflection topics or suggestions of how to relate the daily theme into your life follow each passage. This devotional is unique and written with a obvious love for her family and God.

This book was clearly written with a raw, heartfelt honesty that is easy to relate to. It tells the story of an officer's family from the inside, and affords the reader insights on how faith, inspiration, understanding, and love are essential for the foundation of the family as well as each family member's peace of mind in dealing with the uncertainty of what can happen day to day. While these devotionals were specifically written to provide comfort to the partners and loved ones of first responders and modern day heroes, it actually transcends that purpose and provides solace and inspiration to all who choose to read it.
