Pipe Dreams: Spanked by Her Dirty Plumber is a RED HOT read by Haley Monroe. This is my favourite story of Ms. Monroe’s that I have read, so far. It had a lot more depth, back story and character development than some of the other books, and while I really enjoyed those stories, this one really pulled me in and let me get to know the characters- they felt far more accessible and relatable than characters in previous reads. The story is a contemporary romance that will singe your eyelashes and melt your kindle while you’re reading. It is very erotic, with some spanking, domination, submission, breath play, sex toys, some suspense and a whole lot of enjoyment! After reading this fantastic story, you may get the urge to call your plumber.
When you first meet Penelope Peters (Poppy), you could be forgiven for thinking that she is just another spoiled little rich girl. She does have it all and is a little spoiled, but that’s not how it has always been for her. She was sixteen years old when her stepfather rescued her mother and her from a life of poverty. She escaped a life of hardship and horrible memories of abuse. She is grateful to her stepfather for the life she now leads, even if that means she has to put up with a creepy, obsessed stepbrother.
While her parents are away one day, Poppy decides to give her rather large collection of sex toys a sanitizing wash though the dishwasher. Only problem is when it comes time to take them out and put them away, the dishwasher won’t open. She has tried everything she can think of and still can’t get it to budge. So, with her family due to return very soon, and her reluctance to explain about her toys, she desperately calls a plumber. When help arrives, he is nothing like she expected the plumber to be. I mean, he really COULDN’T get any hotter.
Holden Crawford is the oldest of three sons and works for his father’s plumbing business. But for the past couple of years his father has been slowly destroying the business with his drinking and gambling. Holden has been doing everything in his power to keep the business afloat. But some days it’s an uphill battle. He hopes to turn things around and take over the business entirely, if it doesn’t all fall apart in the meantime. When he gets to Poppy’s house for her “emergency”, he is so taken with the stunning, pixie sized beauty, who is in quite an anxious state. Finding her ‘stash’ in the dishwasher only makes her more appealing to him. But, when her possessive brother gets home a little earlier than Poppy was hoping, Holden helps to cover for her by hiding her toys in his tool bag and posing as her boyfriend. So starts a funny, very erotic, and entirely riveting read. Do yourself a favour and get yourself a copy of your own to enjoy. You will be sure to love it as much as I do!
