I just binge read all of The Property of Hate that is available online. It's a quick, fun read, with a very adorable Hero and an interesting 'Monster' guide. Assock is possibly my favourite character at the moment. The artwork is lovely.

Currently rereading since I got the physical books and this is probably my favorite volume. I love Assok and the market so much, they just scratch my brain in the perfect way. I even remember back in the day how everyone was so scared Assok was secretly evil and Sarah was lulling us into a false sense of security lmao

I read all of this series online in the course of 3 days, all 474 pages. I loved reading this, the characters, the colors, the storyline. I can't wait for more pages to be added to this series. :)

The second volume. Still weird, still not complete -- spoilers ahead
Taking off where the first one end, with Hero having dragged RGB to the roots of the very strange tree. There she meets an animated sock -- Assok -- that can only repeat words that it's heard. She climbs the tree and quarrels with RGB on discovering she can't go home. Sleeping produces interesting results --
Including meeting someone who knew RGB, more revelations about Dial, a confession for RGB, a market where Hero's hopes are dashed, an owl, explanations from RGB about the world, and more.

After a year of lurking and waiting for it to go back on sale, I finally got my hands on not one, but *TWO* Property of Hate books.
