The was a sweet, uncomplicated and quick read. The mystery had enough twists and turns to keep me interested and while it may not necessarily have been grip my seat to the end exciting, i still enjoyed it enough that I am hoping there might still be some further books in this series.
In this instalment, the Roseland sisters are on the hunt to catch a fire bug who has been setting fires around silver cove.

As the sisters are now more in tune with their paranormal powers there is more guess my power rather than detecting but the mysteries themselves are still quite clever and never completely straight forward and this one was no exception.

left me smiling, I give it 3 1/2 stars

I just love this cute, creative, cozy mystery series. I love the characters and the bonds between the sisters, Mr. Finch, Chief Martin, and of course the cats! The paranormal magic is delightful and adds a light-hearted, entertaining component. The mystery is always interesting and adds an element of suspense.

In this story, fires are being set around town, instilling fear in the residents of nearby Silver Cove. As the incidents increase, the perpetrator escalates his crimes, and time is of the essence in capturing the culprit. We also get glimpses of last minute wedding preparations for Angie and Josh, leading up to the wedding itself. It’s a sweet, long-awaited part of the story. Sweet Love & Devotion is easy, entertaining and utterly enjoyable.

This fourteenth episode in the Roseland sisters lives was filled with anticipation of the wedding of Angie to Josh. The twin sister, Jenna joins Angie to find their deceased Mother's gown in the Attic. What they find though, besides the gown, is strobbing red lights...

Red lights which quickly turn into an arson case that the local Chief of Police needs the four sisters and Mr. Finch to use their natural investigative talents to stop. Unfortunately, the arsonist quickly morphs into a murderer as well and the sisters feel challenged.

Speed is needed to stop the killer and get Angie and Josh down to the Altar.

This is a special cozy murder mystery series. One that caught my gentle side immediately. Do not think there isn't danger or action scenes, however, we grow to love the main characters and their two cats. My only complaint is that I wish the stories were a bit longer. I miss the Sisters while I wait for the next volume. Good writing, Ms. Whiting.

Another Roseland Sisters story from Sweet Cove

In book 14 the sisters are getting ready for another wedding.

The police force is drafted over to Silver Cove to help with some fires that were happening.

First it was people's homes and then some businesses too, including a home for the elderly where 2 residents die from the smoke.

Now they are adding murder to arson too.

Angie is drawn deeply into this case as well as Josh too.

Things get worse before things are resolved.

It was a good story. A little slow in places didn't help. The more light hearted side was missing more from this story. It felt a lot more dramatic but slow.

I enjoyed it but not as much as previous books.

I am still awaiting the next one though as the sisters at their best can be a fantastic read.

Love and devotion can overcome a lot of odds!!!!!!

15 stars!!!!
Wow, Angie and the gang had a real mess to figure out.
Chief Martin had to work with the police of Silver Cove to find a fire bug, but there was so much that wasn't making sense.
The girls couldn't get any feelings for the knowledge of who or why all this was happening.
The suspects had reasons but things weren't adding up. People kept seeing different looking men.
Angie and Josh were at the end of planning their wedding and things got worse, then there are murders, destruction and destroying peoples lives for a twisted person's thoughts since childhood.
YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!

Delightful Series

J A Writing has scored again! Her series, A Sweet Cove Mystery, has continued to delight me with every new novel. The Roseland sisters and their entourage of significant others and close family friends as well as their wonderful cats are so well developed they meld seamlessly from book to book. I'm continually entertained and kept guessing as the ladies use their paranormal gifts to assist Chief Martin and the Sweet Cove Police Department in solving whatever new mystery Ms. Whiting comes up with. As always, I'm off to get the next novel in the series!

Fire bells and wedding bells

Great read but just a shame that the culprit was so obvious. A spate of random arson attacks has the chief asking the girls to help investigate. With a wedding in a few weeks, they hope that they can get things sorted before. But when the arson attacks escalate and lives are lost will one of the sisters be next? Nice plot but really too easy. The characters are as great as ever but I missed the cats not having more of a role.

Arson and more arson!

I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery while learning a lot about arson! As always the characters help make this book the success it is. Even if this is the first Sweet Cove Mystery you've read, you'll find the characters entertaining and will work along with them to figure out who the arsonist is. I am once again looking forward to the next mystery in the series!

Very good

Fire is a terrible thing. I've taken care of burn patients. And their pain is off the charts. To know you could die unless help arrives is scary. I don't know if you ever get over the experience. I was happy to see Angie get married but I hope that the series will continue. It's a welcome to read about a lovely family who care about one another and include friends as well. Thank you for the story. Stay well and please keep writing.

I adore this series and eagerly await each new volume. The characters become more real and more dear to me. I devour each book, reading from beginning to end in a sitting. I love 💘 Kindle cozy mysteries and enjoy them greatly. There is only one problem - you don't publish them fast enough. I look forward to the next Sweet Cove adventure!

Arson

Chief Martin comes to house about th the two recent fires in the next town. Then there's a third one, the fourth one is an assisted living and two people died, more taking to hospital. The arsonist is escalating, he starts two the same night. The girls are getting ready for Angie's wedding, Ellie is doing the alteration their mother's dress. There is danger ahead for Angie and Josh. They need to figure this out before the wedding date. A really good q.

Wonderful Story. This one described the upcoming nuptials of Josh and Angie with the underlying crime of a serial arsonist. Which of course was solved before the wedding. I love the characters in the book and the details the author uses to describe the scenes and the paranormal power that main characters possess. Thank you, Ms. Whiting, for another great read.

Wonderful Book

This book has everything that I love in a book, mystery, romance, and paranormal gifts. I believe in ghosts, premonitions, and feelings. The Roseland family is loving, devoted to each other, their men, and their friends. The books vary each with a different twist and different mystery to solve. The books are worth the read.

🔥away.

I love this series. Hope it goes on. We need two more weddings. Maybe 3. But I worry about murders. There is too much violence withmurder. How about a nice calm robbery. I would hate to lose one of the friends.

Another charming, light read

The title is particularly apt; three separate instances of love and devotion are illustrated during the course of this arson/murder mystery that still manages to be sweet.

I love weddings!

This is a charming story about love and devotion. If course, it is also a mystery about an arsonist, deaths, and an exciting mystery finish. The rest is expected, but not without a twist. I love her books!
