Fantastic 5 book series of Nath's early life.

It took me about a year before I decided to finally read these. So many stories that add prequels and various extensions to the FIRST successful book or series are disappointments. They often seem stilted or awkward in meshing the stories. Or the story is rushed seeming only to be a filler for the gap. These 5 books were anything but that. They were totally new, complex in a good way stories of Nath Dragon's earlier life with many new characters as well as adding the cantankerous future sidekick of Brenwar. I thoroughly enjoyed each story. Of course it was really one story but broken into 5 books. I understand the writer is making a living. I have read some of the stories to my grandsons and they love him too. The vivid descriptions of the people including the battles and various places the go to make for a colorful and rich experience for your imagination. I have always lived science fiction and fantasy. Since my retirement I have enjoyed many new authors. This author is one if my favorites

A must Read for You!

I've loved sci-fi fantasy since I was 8yrs old, I'm 46 now. This series and a the books Ive read from Craig Halloran so far are all expertly written, brightly developed characters, and the flow of the story is always moving to the next adventure or crisis in a uniquely fun and imaginative way that will have reading to see what's about to happen next. Highly recommend this book to readers young, old, and in between. It's that's fun.

As usual a good time.

I have really enjoyed your books. But I am very happy that you have gone back and to the point where it all started. Just to let your readers get a real look at what makes Nate who and how he acts . It's a very good and well designed plot .I can't wait till the next book is out.

Fifty year sleep

Nath really has no problem getting himself into trouble.
For someone who has lived as long as he has you'd think he'd learn.
Regardless I enjoy the continuation of his growing into the hero will become.
Keep writing and I'll keep reading.

Craig Halloran certainly knows how to write.
I'm going on to read the Chronicles of Dragon. I've just bought the set of ten books and that will be what I'm doing next.
Thank you Craig. Brilliant writing.

Strife

Poor Nath Dragon. He's only 100 years old when the book starts, he's basically a kid. I love this character but seriously how naive he is gets pretty frustrating. Ovetall, another good book in this series.
