Aria Ford's reads are usually a hit or miss for me, but surprisingly this one wasn't so bad. Brett and Kerry meet when they are top in their fields. He’s a baseball player and she’s a top dancer. They are both injured though and their careers come crashing to an end. He is also on the run from a hit-man/drug lord and doesn't tell Kerry, so to protect her, he leaves without a word and they run into each other 5 yrs later in Colorado.

This is a 2nd chance reunion story with a bit of suspense and nice characters. Surprisingly, Hero is not a manwhore, rich, etc and there is no OP drama, but the reason I took out a star is because after he left her like that with no word (they were both in love) and no explanation, they have sex the same day they see each other again. That part just didn't work for me. I like a bit of tension & re-bonding (maybe a bit of redemption) for my characters before they sex things up but it didn't happen in this instance and it was like - "oh Hi. How are you? I missed you. Let's have sex now". Umm...no.

Anyways, I learned not to expect much from these "romances" these days, so it killed and hour or two on a rainy afternoon...

This was beautiful story about Kerry and Brett I couldn't put it down. There chemistry was off the charts. They both have some obstacles to overcome plus one of them has a secrets but when the secrets is revealed can they over come it. want to no more ONE-CLICK NOW to find out if they get a HEA or not. Melinda Sara Tavers daughter of Beatrice Tavers , a woman who is confident and assured of who she is, with Melinda being just the opposite. Melinda left her husband,Calvin Liadi, because she felt he was controlling and she needed to find out if she could stand on her own and make decisions about her life on her own. Melinda had come to the company Dynamic Prints as team lead and now she was a certified Project Manager and she was suppose to be meeting with her boss, she thought to be made VP in 30 days at least that is what she thought. When she gets to meeting she finds out that her boss Pearla and the other partners wants her to be mentee to a new project manager to test her to see how well she can train or lead someone else. What she didn't expect was the mentee was going to be her ex husband Calvin. This story was really well written. It was overly sexualized. It dealt with issues women and men have all the time. Men not understanding exactly what their mate wants. I think it ivolves drama and romance with this story. I think this story was very entertaining. Melinda had her friends, Jasmine who she asked for advice and then she had her friend Lane who is a Dr. who she needed advice for her. This story was entertaining and well written, I would recommend reading this story.

A wonderful story about two people who met and at the time had the world at their fingers. Because of poor choices on Brett's part, he and Kerry drift apart. Kerry has now moved to Colorado after an injury ends her career as a dancer. Now years later the two meet again. Both feel the connection they once had and try to rekindle their love. Brett however, has secrets he has not yet shared with Kerry and is afraid if she finds out she will not want him any more. Add the fact that the past could put Kerry in danger. This s a great story of two people overcoming tragedy from the past and finding a way to make a future for themselves. I loved the bit of danger the two found themselves in and the way they were able to work together to conquer it and find the HEA they have always wanted with the other. One of Ms Ford's best books to date!

I found this to be a sweet second chance romance with a rather dark reason for needing that second chance. Kerry and Brett were at the tops of their fields until Brett disappeared from her life. A potentially career-ending injury sends Kerry across the country to recover and gives fate the opportunity to reunite these lovers. It’s very easy to see the connection these two have to one another, especially in the way they’re both willing to drop everything to figure out a way they can be together again. My only real problem with the story is that the solution felt a little too simplistic for the problem they were faced with.

There is Kerry who is a dancer at the top of her profession when an injury ends her career. Then there is Brett who is a track star who sees Kerry Dance and falls for her while watching her on stage. When life conspires against them they go their separate ways but meet gain five years later. Will they be able to rekindle their romance? They both still think about their relationship. Will Brett be able to come clean with Kerry and rebuild the trust? Book keeps you reading to find out what will happen. Enjoy.

When you are on the top you think you have it all but what happens when you topple off? Brett and Kerry met when they both were at the top of their professions. Years later when they meet again both are trying to start again. The passion and chemistry is still there between them. Will the secrets Brett is keeping cost them everything? Ms. Ford has written a really great story that kept me turning the page until the last.

It's my second book of Aria Ford's.

The main characters knew each other a long time ago, but they have to went separate ways due to circumstances.

Years later, when they cross-paths again, their 'love' for each other re-surfaces. However, this time round, it was the male lead whom has doubts whether if he should reunite with her due to his 'circumstances'.

Against all odds, they decided to be with one another though they have to always keep a look out for one another...but they can't be always on the run, right?

It has a lot in it. The mix of drama, danger, action, secrets, second chance, hot scenes, passion and chemistry is amazing.
There are some unexpected twists thrown on this couple.
