The end times are here: the final days of the war against the undead and their genocidal creators. As the year draws to a close, the ragged remnants of a hundred nations' militaries are mobilising for the final strike against the enemy.
Aaron and Matt King, once pivotal figures in the resistance, believe their part has been played. But humanity is not as united as it seems. And far to the south, an evil presence lurks at the heart of the wellspring of the undead...
From windswept mountains to baking deserts, from far-flung islands to deserted cityscapes, BROTHER'S KEEPER is the final adventure of the King twins: the thrilling conclusion to the End Times zombie apocalypse saga.
This was a great series and ending to this story. It was very different and had a good ending. Can't say much about the story as it will spoil it for you. Take my word and read this series I think you will enjoy it.
This book details how humans take the battle to the machines. Time to end the Zombie threat. I have journeyed through this series with Matt and Aaron from the beginning and truly enjoyed it. So well written and following the twins as the battle, lose loved ones, and accept their powers. This book was written from Aaron's perspective. He grew up immensely as he lost people he loved, and watch humans battle each other instead of the true threat. He felt others lived and understood his place in this new world. Yes I cried, there is great losses in the book, but it also shows how we live on through the lives we touch. Fantastic series! If you read zombie, apocalyptic, or science fiction genres then do not miss this series! Looking forward to more work from this talented writer!
I don't always have something to say about a book I've read. I enjoyed it. Didn't really get that feeling of loss and lonlyness after finishing a book or a series. It's more a kind of ah. I've never really been interested in after the Zombies. After digesting the story it's more well that happened. I'm glad I read it and I'm glad I finished the series I just don't really have much to say about it.
Generally not a big zombie fan but read his other books so I thought I would give it a try. I could not put it down! Went through the series in less than a month. So much more than zombies. Great story and characters. Epic story. Reminds me of reading The Stand 35 years ago. Highly recommend all of Shane's books ...from a horror fan here in Pennsylvania!
I loved this series of books. As soon as I finished one book I would begin to read the next one. I recommend this series . I wish I had more books about the twins to read. I truly enjoyed these books.
I really enjoyed this series and Aaron was my favorite character. I’m glad this series focused more on the reason behind zombies rather than just the awful things people do to one another like so many apocalypse books.
This story about twins and the unread is brilliant once you start to read the first book you just want to read the whole set to find out what happens. Good storyline
Loved this series!! Read the entire series to my husband and we had a wonderful time discussing the story as I read. The ending was wonderful. A fun ride!
