Hunter Dane and Camden Snow have settled into a satisfying routine of solving murders and hanging at the club, when they aren't expressing their affection for one another. Vigorously. A great life in an idyllic location. Until a skinny kid who barely came up to Cam's chin sought out Detective Lieutenant Dane...
"I saw my father last night," Asher Gamble told him. "He said Jason Furney's going to die and people will say I did it."
Hunt frowned. The boy's name seemed familiar. "Tell me the rest of it."
Asher locked his gaze on Hunt's as intractably as Cam ever had.
"My father killed my mother and my brother when I was two years old. He died in prison four years ago." So much for routine.

This is one of those couples that I don’t think I will ever get tired of. From the very start, they’ve had a unique relationship that just worked. Now, they are continuing to work together as part of the special unit led by Hunt. A case falls into their laps, and it seems that one or the other of them is a key player. In the meantime, they are continuing with their somewhat secret relationship, though they are becoming less strict about it.
There is another element to this installment about psychics, government run research and cover ups all seeming to center around the the latest murder, which also happened to take place in the small but somewhat elite community in which Cam lives. There was a lot to this part of the story, but it doesn’t take too long for it to become clearer.
That was all well and interesting, but what I really craved was seeing Hunt and Cam together doing what they do best. They are still making adjustments as they go, and there’s an iffy spot where some soul searching and heartfelt decisions have to be made, but rest assured, you won’t be disappointed with the outcome. Knowing the background of these two and how they came to where they are now really adds to the depth of their relationship and truly shows how perfect they truly are for each other. Ms.August does a great job with continuity, especially as to the characters style, and just as with the previous books, I already can’t wait for the next one.
The plot thickens with these two and we dive into another layer of psyche....there was a spiritual angle to this book, with a balance of science ( for all the non believers! ) that led to a crime being committed and Hunters team solving it. I did wonder where it was going with the opening chapter and that was beautifully closed in the epilogue. As the layers of Cam & Hunter are pulled back their worries and fears become slightly more exposed. They are really something !
It’s complicated. Now, complicated doesn’t mean bad, because I totally enjoyed this installment in the series. But, it does mean pay attention. This mystery is written, especially in the first half of the book, with small vignettes, snippets of time told to us from the past, present, and future, which take time to make sense. Layered over, around and in this mystery are the two men who make this series what it is—a damn good story.
“Bodies die, dude, not people.” ~ Asher
Psychics, premonitions, talking with the dearly departed or able to foretell the future… Do you believe? Ever had a “feeling” you shouldn’t do something, or experienced something no one has a plausible explanation for? This mystery explores the fine line between the here and the afterlife. How much do you believe? How much is faith, and how much is purely science? What if you could prove that knowing the future or speaking with the dearly departed is all just science—to the point that it can be repeated, called upon at will or explained by a simple graph?
The team that Hunter has pulled together, all very interesting secondary characters in their own right, sets about trying to discover what is fact over what is fiction. Government secret projects, a dead man, and people who are not what they seem are all jumbled together with an interesting young boy who has an uncanny ability to just know things. Now Hunter, with his lineage, has somewhat of the same ability; his instincts are rarely wrong and are the one thing he knows he should never discount, but facts are what Hunter deals in. The careful examination of facts, the uncovering of the truth, piece by piece, is Hunt’s job, and he’s good at it. Likewise, Cam is a hunter of knowledge. The more he can research, hack, or investigate online, the happier he is. But Cam also realizes that the team is being manipulated and by one of his neighbors, no less. Discovering just where fact meets fiction meets psychic ability is what this story is all about. I don’t want to say more about the mystery, because it is just that and to tell you more would spoil it. But, suffice to say, it made me think and the solution to the puzzle wasn’t what I thought it was going to be.
And then we have Hunter and Cam, the submissive and his Dominant, and the forever relationship they are trying to forge. Cam knows Hunter, knows intimate things about his body, knows how he will react to every command he gives him. What he doesn’t know is how Hunter feels. The relationship is evolving, it’s growing, and it is shocking the hell out of Hunter. Frankly, to really understand where the two are coming from in this book you, have to have read the ones before it. That the dissociative person in the relationship would get jealous? Cam never saw that one coming. Our guys need to learn to communicate better. It is easy to see how Cam makes the assumptions he does, because they are based on Hunter’s past actions, but he’s failing to see how Hunter is evolving into someone who needs him to breathe. Hunter is finally starting to embrace not just his feelings for Cam but also that he can have them at all. No, there isn’t a whole lot of sex in this book, and what’s there, well, it was a bit excessive in force. Not sure it had to play out to quite to that extreme. Hunter did need the wake-up call, but maybe it could have been done a different way. The revelations Hunter has, the depths he is falling into in regards to his love for Cam, are startling. The epiphany that he wants and needs Cam to be his dominant 24/7 is huge and could only be accomplished by Hunter finally “seeing” Cam, truly, for the man he is, not the one Hunter thinks he is. Conversely, Cam realizes things within himself that he needs to work on—his arrogance and where it has gotten him. He’s learning to see the way Hunter loves him, it’s giving him hope, and that is something Cam desperately needs. His vulnerability shines through in this story and becomes his truth.
Overall, this book wasn’t about the sex. A book doesn’t have to be about the sex. August is setting us up for the long haul here, and Hunter and Cam’s relationship needed the revelations that happen in this story; it was another building block to their HEA. They each have a deepening understanding of each other in this book, and I am hooked. Every time I think I know these guys, Adira August proves they have one more layer yet undiscovered.
I highly recommend this book. Yes, you can read it as a standalone, but you won’t get the nuances of this complicated relationship unless you read them all. The mystery was well thought out, if a little complicated, but kept me interested from the beginning. I cannot wait for the next one!
Oh, my goodness, where to start? This is the deepest murder Cam & Hunt have had to solve so far. You have to pay attention even when the storyline suggests you do not. The team that Hunt has gathered for his little unit is proving to be top notch. The interaction between the characters is humourous. I love ensemble situations and this ensemble is proving fun to read. It is going to be interesting to see how they evolve further.
Cam & Hunt. Huh. The super Dom and the Dom/Sub switch are finding that they have some work to do on their relationship. The both have some serious decisions to be made on the direction they want to go. You thought this was settled? Noooooooooooo! At the same time, I simply love, love, love them together. They can swing (no pun intended) from super sweet to hard core so quickly. They are a joy to read.
Addi once again has perfectly captured the humour, suspense and raw emotion of not just a love story but a complicated murder. I eagerly await the next installment.
From the first book in this series you knew Hunter was something special. Can being an Olympic medalist may distract you and Hunter may seem a bit humble and secretive but this book explains so much. We got to know the team, some more than others. Asher is a great addition to the characters and the family feel. A truly remarkable series. You get intrigue and mystery mixed with romance and BDSM. All of that in a story that grips you and has you worried about the emotional and physical wellbeing of the characters, and that's not just the main characters but the secondary ones as well. This is true in all the books in the series but strongest in this one. I felt like they all are leading you somewhere amazing and the journey will just keep getting better the farther along we go. I can't wait to see what Adira August has in store for us next.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; Hunt and Cam have taken me hostage. They’ve wormed their way into my consciousness and I absorb their stories rather than read them. Anybody who enjoys the darker side of BDSM, loves observing two strong men establish a relationship that is uniquely theirs, and thrives on well researched and immaculately plotted mysteries, will find a piece of heaven in the Hunt&Cam4Ever series.
WOW!!!! Something about Cam and Hunt where you can feel the emotions off the pages. They know what they feel for each other, but are having a hard time defining their relationship and the dynamics. But you just know it has to work. In this case we get to know them better and I can never get enough of them. I loved this book and the way it made me feel.
I like this series. It does feel a little confusing sometimes with the bouncing POVs but you get used to it. While I usually love the dynamic between Cam and Hunt it felt different in this book. The scene at the end of the book after Hunt is watching vids of cam was not ok to me. I love reading D/s I even love reading dubcon/noncon. This didn’t feel like that. It was cruelty with no purpose. Punishment with no cause. Even if the author tried to explain it away with Hunts on board mindset. While I would not exactly call it rape, dominating someone to the point where your not even sure you’ve hurt them and then just leaving them is cruelty. It’s a side of Cam that I didn’t know existed. While I know Cam loves hurting Hunt (and I love reading about it) I didn’t realise he was the kind to leave someone possibly hurt/torn/bleeding without care. That wasn’t D/s it was Cam lashing out because of his own pain. It felt like I was reading about a different character?!? He’s usually so controlled. I like him a lot less now, I hope there’s some redeeming qualities for him in the last book.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Have you ever read a book and are so into it that you get to the end and you're like, WOW. And then of course you have to reread it. This is definitely one of those books. At the beginning of the book you are subtly warned about assumptions. Heed that warning and get ready for a wild ride.
Not enough to satisfy your curiosity?
Well as usual there are our two hot men and some of the usual suspects but then it gets weird. There is an unfortunate dead man, a young boy, an older woman with a lot of naked/half naked men around her, psychic predictions, a CIA agent, a cougar, and some other stuff that might spoil it for you. Hopefully that helps.
If this is the first book in this series your looking at PLEASE start the series at the beginning. There is no way you can begin to understand all that is going on with these characters by jumping in here.
I was given an advanced copy of this book for an honest review. I did also buy it as I have with this whole series.
I really enjoyed this entry into the series. Hunter and Cam are settling into a relationship but there is still a great deal to be worked out between them. While Cam is good at understanding what Hunt needs, he doesn't always understand what he's thinking. Hunt tries to be romantic, something unusual for him, and Cam is flattered. But, there is a misunderstanding that they need to work out. One thing that really struck me in this book is that both Hunt and Cam think the other one is "too good" for him. Cam sees Hunts commitment to his job and how he helps people and wonders how he deserves to be loved by someone like that. Hunt sees Cam's brilliance as an athlete and his intelligence and wonders how he deserves to be loved by someone like that. The case they work on is very interesting and will be with them long after it's completion. After Hunt's commitment in this book, I'm interested in how it affects their relationship as well as the change in Cam's work.
I was given an ARC of Psychic Men and I have spent the last 2 days enjoying every word. Hunter and Cam are a top couple and I love watching them both work together and play together. The story kept me reading and the writing style, as always, is well-developed and strong. In each book we delve that little bit more into a continually developing personal relationship which I think is great. However, in Psychic Men a crack appears and both men will have to reassess their relationship to decide where it goes next. I'm cheering for them, though. The murder/mystery was interesting to say the least but I must admit that my focus was on a pretty unusual couple. I have no problem recommending this book.
Note: This is the 4th story in this series. It is recommended that these books be read in order to understand the relationship between Hunt and Cam and the history that they share.
Hunt and Cam are working well together – despite some jarring moments in the last case that scared them. They are also enjoying their time at Cam’s house in the foothills. They do have some knowledge of Cam’s “neighbors” but given the nature of the development, everyone has a lot of privacy. When they are contacted about meeting a kid in the neighborhood under the auspices of being a fan of Cam’s, it turns out that is a ruse to entice our guys into a completely different scenario. This conspiracy touches a lot of levels and involves a lot of seemingly unrelated incidents.
I just don’t want to spoil any of the plot of this mystery because it’s absolutely fascinating and really I couldn’t possibly describe it very coherently anyway. I was surprised where all of these disparate pieces led and how they came together. It’s a very interesting subject – psychic abilities – proving or disproving that they exist and who has a vested interest is keeping things under wraps. The various players are surprising and government interests are also involved 😉 Hunt’s team gets into the action – peripherally at first and it’s great to learn more about them both as individuals and how they work as a team. There’s also a bunch of scary and dangerous moments for both civilians and the team that give Hunt pause as the leader of this unit. One of the other key takeaways from this story is how much more we learn about Hunt’s family and his past. This gives a lot more insight into who Hunt really is – both for Cam and the reader.
Oh man! This is another super twisty-turny mystery for Cam and Hunter. It starts off simply enough – a seemingly psychic kid reaches out for help. But that’s where simple ends. There are so many shifts and changes and seemingly unrelated people and deaths and it’s a race to the finish to see if they can figure out who is behind it and what the end game really is and stop the murder. Fascinating stuff. I particularly enjoyed getting more information on Hunt’s background and who he is and how he thinks. Cam learns so much during this case that if anything makes him even more fascinated by Hunt – and let’s face it – he’s 100% in when it comes to Hunt. I am still completely obsessed with this couple and I’m on to the next book. Highly recommended – this series is my find of the year!
I love Hunt and Cam. Adira August’s series is a wonderful opportunity to delve into BDSM by following a strong, powerful Dom and an equally strong and willful switch.
Camden Snow is a former Olympic champion downhill skier. An injury and illness might have ended his dominance of the ski slopes, but he still has an iron grip of control over other parts of his life.
Hunter Dane is a detective lieutenant who investigates crimes involving the rich, famous, and powerful of Denver. He has dominated many women in the BDSM Club he is a member of. He has also submitted to Doms at the club, but he has never knelt for anyone.
Until he met Camden Snow.
He watched Hunter closely. Something was bothering him, hurting him. He’d shifted into pure objective mode, as he always did when a thing could cloud his judgement. And he was avoiding looking at Cam, who’d be able to tell.
But Cam had always known. When the pressure of the things locked away behind Hunter’s interior wall built up, he’s find a Dom and submit to the lash or belt until the wall cracked and he screamed his release. But no longer.
Hunter Dane had finally knelt for Camden Snow, the no limits, no safewords, extreme Dom. Cam methodically stripped him of every defense and made him feel so much more than pain until the wall crumbled.
The men are still feeling their way through this relationship with the constant push and pull that comes with having two tough and determined men in such a close bond.
When Asher Gamble approaches the men, they revert to their professional roles – Hunter as the cop and Cam as the investigator.
I’m going to step back and say this is a well-researched book. Ms. August’s perspective on psychokinesis and universal consciousness is fascinating. Each reader can wrestle with their own beliefs – anywhere from fervent belief in a deity to the absolute certainty that everything ends at death. Many people have reported experiences that defy the notion of that extrasensory perception or paranormal experiences do not exist. Many of us have had things happen to us that have no logical explanation. ‘Knowing’ something you can’t possibly have known. Something or someone ‘tells’ you not to do something. Déjà-vu. Premonitions.
Or it could just be coincidence or playing the odds.
That being said, Ms. August’s insight is nothing if not intriguing. Regardless of your take, the mystery and the suspense in the book will pull you along.
I was glad to see the whole gang back together again – Hunt and Cam, forensic tech Carol Twee, ADA Diane Natani, and Detective Mike Merisi (and for those who haven’t read ‘Little Favor’ on Adira August’s Blog, I suggest you do – I’m loving Cal, Mike’s lover, and his nature’s little favor).
The plot of the book is a little convoluted, but for me, it was the secondary characters who drew me in and kept me on the edge of my seat. I was kept guessing until the end, and the final series of dénouements were surprising.
Take this interaction between the men:
The depth of Hunter’s resentment surprised him. “I didn’t know I’d feel like this.”
“And you want to make your feelings my problem?”
No answer.
“Did you ask me to teach you?”
“Yes.”
“Did you learn something?”
“Yes.”
“Do you have the right to question my methods?”
Hunter deflated. He was the sub. If one of his subs pulled this kind of petulant crap he’d turn her upside down.
“No. Sorry.”
Cam leaned over and kissed Hunt quickly on the mouth. “You’re doing great, okay?”
And little Asher Gamble? At one point, Hunter said to him, “You don’t get to die, Asher. Not now, not until its time. This kind of pain, the pain of no love, of being alone, the empty agony of it no one else understands, you don’t let that kill you. You hang on because you know, Asher, you KNOW that it’s love that sent your father to you, love that fuels it all, and you are fucking SURROUNDED by a cloud of people who care about you, admire you, love you and lead you.” Asher’s story dovetails nicely with the opening scene, creating perfect bookends for the story.
Finally, I leave the reader with this question – what if no one really does die alone?
Hunter Dane Investigation series is so good. If your a fan of the Desire and Bliss duet, (Ben & Avia) and they were blistering hot and kinky, so good, then your going to love this gay romantic crime/kink series. If your up to this installment chances are you've already read the other four books and are as addicted to Dane & Snow as I am.
And Psychic men is a typical and not so typical investigation, this time around, Adira August took us for a spin down a dual road, paranormal and reality, it made for great world building, fascinating delve into government cover-ups, and experimental science. As you've come to expect with her novels the plot was richly worded, with a new mystery to solve, this time closer to home than Hunter or Cameron would like.
As for Hunt and Cam, their relationship is developing further as a couple, it's all kinds of up and down, as 2 Alpha males try to slot in cozy with each other. Cam is finally standing on two feet, it's now 5 months since Hunt first went to his knees for the Dom, and Book 5 sees us exposed to the secondary characters more, in the shape of Detective Mike Merisi, CSI Twee, ADA Natani, and a bit more from the ME Gordi, and they're interesting as heck as well. This time around we get a very decent look at what's shaping the mystery including our resident bad guys and this back story was interesting and just that bit outside the square to skirt the paranormal edge. Add in a hefty dose of smoking hot sex between our men with a dash of kink and this series is fabulous. I think from the author's notes there may be a spin off to follow that involves Asher Gamble and Dolly, hopefully it will include Hunter and Cam and more of the crew.
If your after a good crime/mystery, gay romance with hella kink, this is a fabulous series for us. highly recommended. 6 smoking hot stars.
PS: Trigger: for those that haven't read this series, Hunter and Cameron have an ongoing Dom/Sub relationship where Cam calls all the shots. There is a borderline non-consensual scene between them.
Brilliant page turning, can't put these books down MUST READ MM HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!!
The building of the relationship in both their private and work life continues for Hunt & Cam. Feelings, emotions, of both anger joy and love are explored. We continue to have supporting "data/evidence" around the bdsm element of the relationship and re-validation that this is ultimately a loving relationship between to glorious strong alpha males. Exploring what and where they are now and what they are becoming to be towards each other, of their fears and dreams of forever. Learning about the lifelong health of one the guys and the reality of this long term, humbles us to explore our own thoughts on the subject matter. This novel has an evocotic erotic suspence of a plot that keeps the pages turning, i can't get enough of this series.
I felt I needed to be psychic to understand the flow of two series that crossover, I feel the author could have advised how each novel fell better in the time line from the very beginning with the Desire for.....trilogy. I find it impossible to read events in one series that overlap into another without feeling i missed some element of the overall storyline. I ended up abandoning Desire for.... after starting book 2 as events were unfolding out of order in relation to Hunt & Cam's storyline. I read the synopsis for all the novels and decided to start again with Writing for Ben then after Desire for book 2 i read Talia's story, THEN..... i returned to Hunt & Cam up to this book, phew!!!!! . Hopefully this flows now as I'm going to return to book 3 of Desire for...... CONFUSED yep me too
Another brilliant read from Adira in her continuing series about Hunt & Cam. Imaginative engrossing story. Their epic journey continues. The only thing that is bothering me is where the storyline continues on. Adira’s comments at the end of this book hint to Cam’s increased involvement in the psychic aspect. I have no idea to the extent this will be included but in my opinion going down this path will be a huge mistake. I love Adira’s style and the Hunt, Cam relationship especially. Their dynamic and police investigations are a brilliant combination. What more could you ask for with passionate men and gripping murders to solve. Unfortunately the psychic element is crossing genres. I think this will put off lots of readers continuing the HuntCam4Ever saga. I will probably continue reading the series because I love Hunt & Cam’s evolving relationship. If Adira wishes to continue writing about the psychic element then by all means start another series delving into Asher’s story, but please leave Hunt & Cam as much as possible out of this equation. Perhaps with Asher popping in and out of this series. I do enjoy reading some paranormal books but I can’t get my head around the fact that this series is readable because of its original premise and a psychic element is too far fetched for it. Don’t get me wrong this is still a brilliant book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Continuation of this theme makes it less “believable” though.
4.5 to 5 stars Hunter Dane and Camden Snow are going to test the limits of their beliefs… and their relationship When a teenager turns into Cam’s mountain home, claiming that his dead father has warned him he is going to be accused of murder, Hunt feels his hackles rise. There is something going on, and Hunt’s main purpose is protecting Cam. But the mystery is really convoluted, and it leads Cam and Hunt to a breaking point in their relationship... Again, Adira brings us a solid mystery intersected with the very special love story of Cam and Hunt. These two men are as fascinating as the mysteries they investigate. In this one, there is the supernatural element as well, which helps us discover more about how Cam and Hunt’s pasts, what has made become the men they are. I think I love them more with every new instalment I would recommend this series to all the lovers of mystery, and those who enjoy a different love story. Adira says this is not romance, it is a love story, but it feels like romance to me… Only of a twisted, different kind of romance. But there is love here, do not doubt it! I received an ARC in exchange for a honest review Highly recommended
I'm always amazed about the amount of research Adira August puts in to these books, the cases are always so well thought out and just pulls me in. This one truly did just that. I find myself loving to solve and puzzle things together, finding out the hidden meaning and never assume anything.
Every time Cam and Hunt comes together it's powerful, they don't have as much time together in this one, but it's like a black hole, you gravitate towards them and sink in to it. And the anguish they both hold, never wanting to be away from each other, never feeling deserving of the other. I can feel it on my skin when I read about them.
Though this book brought questions about how dark could Cam become if he let himself go, the end of the book had a disturbing element and Hunt dismissed it easily.
With two Alpha males, it would never end quietly, it's a tug of war on power and even more so when misunderstandings sends things spiraling. But it's what makes them, them. And it's what brings me back over and over. Reading everything about them within days.
When Hunter and his team get involved with a young man who may be a psychic, their already full lives get even more complicated. Still trying to work out the dynamics of their Dom/sub relationship they both make missteps.
“Hunter derived pleasure in the way Cam used him. Took him. Owned him.” Hunter had heard Cam referred to as a “Full Metal Dom”, and he reveled in the fact that Cam knew exactly what the man needed even before Hunter figured it out.
A couple of issues kept this from being a 5 star read for me. The story was confusing at times, I had issues with remembering who characters were outside of the major players. It also seemed that some of the drama between Cam and Hunter was used to convolute the story.
I’ve enjoyed these guys, their give and take is well done. The team that Hunter assembled is entertaining and play off each other so well.
Review Copy requested and reviewed on behalf of OMGReads.
I'll admit, I read these books because I cannot get enough of Hunter and Cam. They are both sexy AF and so incredibly hot together! What I don't love about these books is the mystery. I think this is a case of "it's me, not the book." Mysteries are not my usual reading genre, so I'm not good at them. The author keeps things vague, slowly unraveling and revealing information to keep the reader in suspense. I'm just left confused and in the end, I'm just not too interested in the killer and how or why they did it. (I'm referring to both this book and Dancing Men.) I do, however, love the team Hunt has assembled to investigate the murders. Their personalities and interactions with one another are awesome. I would love to get the backstory on some of them, especially Merisi.
Sadly...I guess this book is the last of the Hunt and Cam books...Gotta say...I could keep reading about these guys forever!
Hunt and Cam get drawn into a decades-old mystery involving a murder, a super-secret CIA project, and paranormal shenanigans. As Hunt and Cam's relationship continues to develop, both of our boys are confronted by doubts and question about the dynamic that has brought them together. However, they do get their HEA.
I'd read another book by this same author with characters who appear from time to time in these Hunt & Cam stories. I didn't really care much for this other story -- I found the characters annoying. Scary to think that if I hadn't already read the first Hunt and Cam book, I wouldn't have bothered picking them up because of my reaction. I would have missed this amazing series!!!
Not sure what happened her. The Kindle edition from Amazon had a page (118) that appeared to have nothing to do with the rest of the story but probably did. This book was, to me, so scattered and disjointed. The changes in POV where sudden and jarring with no clear idea who was speaking until you got into the first few sentences, unless the POV was mentioned originally by name. Also, I clearly do not read enough conspiracy books because the beginning made absolutely no sense to me. My first clear understanding was when the main POV's showed up with Asher. Cam and Hunter's relationship is constantly evolving and this book is no different. I was thrown in the previous books, about Cam's issues health wise and it made me choke up a little so I am aware with each book. There is no way I am not reading the next one, I just wish this one had kept up the standard of the first three.
I cannot tell you how much I ADORED this book!! I mean, at first I thought I was reading the wrong book. The Prologue had me so confused. Where was Hunt and Cam?? But I tried again. Really tried to concentrate. And yes! There were my guys at the beginning of the main story. The Prologue is very important, so pay attention!!
This is book 4 of the series. And while they are ALL so HOT and sexy, this story had all the feels. Omg. And a great suspense arc, too. I’m so glad I didn’t give up on this book. August is a fanTAStic writer and I can’t wait to see where the rest of the books take me!
I did not read the book number 4 simply because I can't seem to find it anywere. So I read this one and had a few questions which may have been answered in book 4. This book was easier to understand for me but the life after life came out of nowhere for me. Did it bother me? No, because the story was easy to follow. Accept and read on 😉 Would have loved to read more about Hunter and Cam as couple.
Never been so hooked on a series in a very long time. Great author. Hooked until the end of the book. So much rawness and Intrigue. Just wow. Can't believe how Adira is able keep people attention through so many books. Looking forward to the one already. Cam&Hunter just blows me away. Just wish this was on Audible because reading is hard on my eyes but don't want to put the book down until I'm done.
This series is a great way to spend time with a fabulous storyteller. For someone who reads over 1,000 books a year, this author is a breath of fresh air. This series is HOT and intelligent. That's not an easy combination to find. Thank you so much, Adira August, for making me feel and think.
These books are a great mixture of intense erotic romance and mystery. Neither detracts from the other. This is a true love story for 2 complicated characters and although the subject matter seems fantastical it is really believable.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited but have added it to my "shopping list" as I know I will read it again and again.
Can and Hunter find themselves in an investigation involving afterlife. At first I didn't get where the story was going, but once I realized what was going on wow. I love the investigators on Hunter's team and Ash. Looking forward to the next installment.
I really love these two men! They’re so exciting to me.I liked learning about the rest of the team. My difficulty came from keeping the players names separated. Otherwise, great read!
