I read the dirty bad things series together and all the stories and the sex scenes bled into each other.
Out of the 3 books, this one was my favorite. I have a thing for bodyguard love stories, i guess. Lol.
The only thing I did not like, and this is a spoiler,
The heroine's husband is gay...
So there is no romantic threat. Just death threats because he is a mafia king and he doesn't want people to know he's gay so he married the heroine as a cover.
I would have preferred if the villain/husband wasn't gay.
This is 2019.
Some mafia dude, as powerful as he is, wouldn't worry about that. He would sleep with any dude he wanted...i wanted another type of conflict for him.

Oh, this one was so freaking hot. I think it's my favorite out of all three; "Pretty Dirty" is a really close second, though.
This is Quinn and Roman's story.
Quinn is in this sort of predicament with this...husband. She also craves something more, something different,somethingg rougher. Roman is the man to help her with all of it.
And it is hot. Oh my, is it hot.
Some of the lines and scenes in this book are enough to make your panties go up in flames.
This is book 3 in the series and each book can be read as a standalone and perhaps even out of order, but since I'm a neat-freak, I try to always read the series in its entirety and in order.
If you haven't read Madison Faye yet, you're missing out.
Give it a try. I can almost guarantee you'll love every second of it.

This is most definitely a must read if you like a romantic suspense tale with a strong but dirty talking alpha who goes after what he wants regardless of who is boss is! Don't let the blurb fool ya' because there is more to this story that meets the eye. Bodyguard and hero, Roman and sassy heroine, Quinn had just met in an alley the night before but neither thought they would meet again. Wrong thought! What's "done in the dark does come to the light" in Rough Stuff (Dirty Bad Things, #3)... literally and figuratively with consequences.
So if you love mafia stories with a sexy couple who both knows they are meant to be together even under the vicious eyes of a crazy mafia crime boss, this is one not to miss!

I start by saying I'm not sure how I come to review this book as I haven't read the previous two in the series, however the book held it's own as a standalone without too much confusion.
This was a fairly quick read that was well paced and packed with hot scenes and plenty of drama. Roman is a bodyguard assigned to watch his mob bosses wife, Quinn, only trouble is they have history and their attraction soon comes back to the fore.
However, not everything is at it seems as things come to a head for Roman and Quinn. The end was a tad cliche for me.
Not a bad read if you like fast moving short stories, though I think reading the full series would serve any readers better.

I have been waiting on this third story of from the Dirty Bad Things series and when I got the book I was so excited. I was not disappointed! Quinn is in a tough spot. She is taken by a mafia kingpin because her father stole from him.
Roman is hired as Quinn's bodyguard but before he knows whom he is entrusted to watch he has a wonderful one night stand with a beautiful woman outside a sex club. So when he goes to the mob bosses house and finds out that he slept with his wife things go sideways fast.
I loved this story. It wraps up everyone's story so you should read everyone's story.

I've read many stories by author, Madison Faye and I liked all of them and she didn't disappoint with this new one either :)
Quinn has been married for two years to a cruel and very much older, like being your grandfather older man, eww by the way, but it wasn't her choice. She was payment by her despicable father to Gino.
Quinn meets the love of her life, Roman; at the time she didn't expect one night thing to turn into forever but as I was saying, she meets Roman in the most unexpected places you would think these two would meet, places she shouldn't be because first she's married and second, the old man is very cruel; but to the first thing, is that not everything is what it seems. Sometimes appearances can be deceiving to the outsider's eye... can't give out spoilers so go read this and find out what I'm trying to convey to you, you won't regret it ;)
The place these two meet for the first time where Roman saves her from being assaulted by a creepy and sleazy dude is a sex club... and then some sexy as hell encounter happens between these two and she was in disguise, ha, ha but anyways, thinking they will never see each other again, wrong! Roman is her new bodyguard and after deciding that Quinn will be his, especially after a very guarded secret by Gino is blurted out by Quinn by accident to Roman, nothing will stand in his way to make her his ;)
Of course, they have to go through some obstacles, both before they met, which makes me sad but also after they met but let's be real, who doesn't? They completed each other and even though they had those obstacles that I mentioned before to overcome, they fought, together and at the end... won :)

I really liked this quick read.
Roman is so alpha and I love it! I mean to think that someone would go ujp against a mob boss for the woman that he wants is crazy but if i were in her position I can absolutely understand it! I was worried in the beginning that this would be a cheating story but I'm happy that it wasn't though even if it was I would have understood.
Quinn is the wife of Gino Moretti and she is unhappy! I think her reaction to no being able to get the release she needs is a bit extreme especially if she is trying to be stealthy about it but if I were desperate enough I'd do the same thing.
One issue I had- no protection!
You met the man in an alley, like not you knew him before but you turned an alley and he was there. If there was ever a time someone needed to use condoms it was right then.
I want to know more about Joey. I might read the next book but not sure yet.

Rough Stuff is her newest standalone novella and what a book this was. Vying for my very favorite of all time, Madison amped up the heat and gave me two very irresistible, unforgettable characters. The feelings were very real and this fast read packed quite a few punches.
You'll always be left satisfied and with a big ol' smile on your face. I dare you to talk a walk on the wild side with this author.

Finally!!! I have been waiting for Roman and Quinn's story since book 1 in this series.What do you get when you put an "anti-prince charming" and "the mob not-really-a-princess" together? Some really HOT scenes! You just knew that this one was going to be very dirty and bad{the series title gives that much away!} and it did not disappoint. I so did not see the twist that enabled these two to get a HEA. I also loved how Ms. Faye was able to link this series to the "Blackthorn Mountain Men" series....looking forward to Ryker's story.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book. Yikes! OMG! This book was soooo good, Quinn and Roman, we’ve been waiting so patiently for their story and the wait was worth it. They are explosive together, sexy, steamy deliciously hot! Quinn is married to the mob and without a guard she’s able to get away for a bit, but gets herself in a pickle and is saved by Roman. She’s in need of a new bodyguard and as it turns out Roman is the guard. How will these two be able to keep their hands of each other and not get caught? This relationship is forbidden as she belongs to someone else, but will that stop Roman from taking what’s his? Highly recommend this book!! Loved it!!

I've been waiting for Roman and Quinn's story since they were introduced in Hard Core a while back and I'm happy to say it was worth the wait! Rough Stuff starts out with a bang and the sizzle keeps coming throughout the book. I loved that the series (and this book in particular) gave a touch of Mafia romance vibes without it being overwhelming. I also like that it wrapped up the series in a nice big bow with all three couples getting an HEA. As always, I look forward to seeing what Madison Faye comes up with next! 3.5 out of 5 wine glasses.

Rough Stuff by Madison Faye is book Three in the Dirty Bad Things series. This is the story of Quinn and Roman. This has a lot of action, angst, drama, lies, betrayal, passion , dark and steamy feels, mob activities and in the end, love. Quinn is married to a sleazy mob guy but it’s just really all for show. one night she goes to this sex club and is extremely disappointed by the show, she leaves. As she is leaving, she is attacked and is saved by this big, sexy yet intense man and they end up having this hot encounter. Little did she know when he shows up a few days later, that he is the new bodyguard her husband hired for her. When Roman first meets her he didn't know who she was until they met each other the 2nd time and he was her bodyguard. Quinn & Rowan are forbidden since she’s the wife of the mob boss but when Rowan learns her secret, he would do anything to help her and make her his. This is an extremely fast paced read and all three stories end up being intertwined and completed by the end of this story. The forbidden, the passion, the angst, the urgency, the heat will take your breath away. Ms. Faye writes and you cant help but being hooked. I look forward to her next read.

This is the third novella in the Dirty Bad Things series. All of which can be read as standalones.
This novella follows Roman and Quinn. Roman is one of Gino's (mob boss) right hand man. He is sent to protect Quinn, Gino's wife. The thing is, Roman and Quinn met the night before when Quinn snuck off to have a night of fun. Quinn wore a disguise and Roman had no idea that it was the boss' wife. A one night fling turns into much more. Buuuut, you never mess with a mob boss or you end up in the desert.
Instant passion, with action and drama. Roman is such an alpha male with his protectiveness and dirty mouth. Quinn was also a strong heroine. She's not the normal type that is weak and frail. She definitely survived so much being a mob queen.
I also loved that we get to see the other characters from the other novellas again.
Great little series for someone who loves hot kinkiness with a touch of mob darkness.

Rough Stuff is the third book in the Dirty Bad Things Series by Ms. Faye and while it seemed to take a while to release, it was totally worth the wait! Quinn is a miserable living life in her guilted cage when her new bodyguard walks in. But he’s not just any hired mob man, but a man she had a one night stand with. Roman knows immediately that Quinn is his, even though she’s technically married to his boss, but he would move the world in order to keep her safe and happy. When their world starts to crumble around them, can Roman and Quinn still find happiness and love?
I had so much fun reading this book! It honors Ms. Faye’s writing style, with intense passion, insta-love, and just a smidge of danger, all perfectly combined to keep you turning pages until the very end! Roman and Quinn were hot and fighting for their love with their lives. Roman is broody, intense, but oh so protective of Quinn. And Quinn, I loved how she was so strong, and stayed as positive as she could in her situation, but she had so much passion and love, too! I loved this addition to the series and I loved seeing familiar characters from the previous books. It was great to see how everything came together for all of the couples and I’m super curious if Ryker is going to get his own book!

Rough Stuff is the newest standalone novella from Madison Faye. Although it is the third book in the Dirty Bad Things Series, it can be read as a standalone like most off her novellas.
I had so much fun reading this book. Like most of the Madison’s stories it was dirty, sweet, sexy and very naughty! She has never disappointed me with her style of writing, the insta-love and intense passion can often be found in her stories, which make for a quick fun read.
Quinn is miserable living the life in her cage, when she is introduced to her new bodyguard, Roman. The problem with this bodyguard? He’s just not the hired help, he’s the man she had an explosive one-night stand with.

OMG!!! Madison Faye- what have you done to me?? I may never be the same after finally having Roman and Quinn’s book. It’s SO good, just deliciously so.
I thought I’d had the best with Dylan and Rose- or with Gray and Zoe- but Roman and Quinn are in a world above. It could’ve been the whole forbidden element to the relationship- the constant threat of being discovered that made their interludes so hot and steamy. But I think it was just the natural chemistry between them. They just had everything that made two people work perfectly.
Now, even after seeing so much about Gino Moretti in the two previous books- I still had no idea how sadistic he truly was, how twisted and cruel he could be. The pain he’s inflicted on so many lives- it was atrocious. So, I was thrilled to see yet another Moretti member get what they truly deserved- and to see the one who gave it to him- even better!
Let’s just say I loved everything about this book, and only wished there were more couples to have more stories be told, because I could read about these folks everyday!!

It could’ve been the whole forbidden element to the relationship- the constant threat of being discovered that made their interludes so hot and steamy. But I think it was just the natural chemistry between them. They just had everything that made two people work perfectly.
Now, even after seeing so much about Gino Moretti in the two previous books- I still had no idea how sadistic he truly was, how twisted and cruel he could be. The pain he’s inflicted on so many lives- it was atrocious. So, I was thrilled to see yet another Moretti member get what they truly deserved- and to see the one who gave it to him- even better!
Let’s just say I loved everything about this book, and only wished there were more couples to have more stories be told, because I could read about these folks everyday!!

Oh yeah! I loved a bodyguard/ward story and this one fulfilled all my expectations! I also love a good mafia read and this one was that and more. If you are just discovering this author you are in for a ride but if you know and lover her then this story will ignite your passion for her stories all over again!
Roman is an enforcer for the mafia and tasked with watching over Quinn. She is a strong and sassy women who I couldn't help but what to be friends with. As with all of this authors reads, it is a safe read but FULL of heat and steam. I loved the dialogue and interactions between Quinn and Roman. The passion and the action are in perfect balance in this story and I loved reading every word.
It is a stand alone story but if you want even more lust, passion, insta-everything and a safe read: I recommend the rest of the reads in this series. Hard Core and Pretty Dirty. What a way to spend my reading day! What an awesome read, I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

I received an Advance Reader Copy for ROUGH STUFF (Dirty Bad Things, Book #3) written by Madison Faye and voluntarily reviewed this book. One steamy-hot and unforgettable illicit encounter in the alley of a sex club together suddenly becomes a gateway to more of the same…because the insane attraction between Quinn Moretti, the queen of the Vegas mob family and her bodyguard Roman Ford cannot and will not be denied. FINALLY!!! Man I have been WAITING for this final book in the Dirty Bad Things series. I wanted to know about Roman and Quinn especially after all the hints dropped during the first two books in the series. So glad the wait is over. I absolutely loved it. Dirty Bad Things is so absolutely correct. Roman and Quinn and two people that should definitely never be together. But they just can't help it. Roman is a god and so completely filthy and Quinn can't help but love every single thing about him. And that ending? Be prepared to be shocked! This is a must read ending to this series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

In this book we meet Roman and Quinn. Roman was put in charge to watch over and protect Quinn. Quinn is in a tight spot she was sold to her husband when her father couldn't pay his gambling debts. Now she is a mob bosses wife and she can't stand one moment of it. When they first met it was only supposed to be a night of no holds barred fun. Now however they wonder will they find a way to have their own HEA or will that one night be all they will ever get?
This book is hot hot hot. Another amazing book by this author. It has it's ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. I however don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Madison Faye gives us another alluring installment in the Dirty Bad Things series. In this book we get Roman and Quinn's story. Quinn is married to the head of a crime family. She is lonely and has needs to fulfill, so she heads to a sex club. What happens when she decides to hook up with a sexy stranger that helped her out of a bind? Roman is the bodyguard assigned by her husband to protect her. He also happens to be the stranger she hooked up with. Can Roman protect Quinn from her crazy husband while keeping their trysts on the down low? Rough Stuff is steamy, intriguing, and exciting. Secrets will be revealed along with a twist. Characters from the previous books in this series pop up and tie everything together nicely. This series is a must read for naughty romance lovers.

I enjoyed this story of Roman and Quinn. Roman is assigned to be the bodyguard to Quinn, the wife of Mob leader, Gino, a hard man with secrets that must be kept secret. There are quite a few secrets among most of the characters in this book. We get to see many of the characters we've met in the other Dirty Bad Things books and they play a few key roles in this one too! Without giving spoilers, know that Quinn met Roman before he became her bodyguard and it was the beginning of some steaming hot scenes in this story. Roman and Quinn burn up the pages. I did love how everything culminates in a big ending that will make you cringe a little while giving you the feeling of justified satisfaction.

This series is so intense. Gray, Dylan and Roman have all been through a lot between the marines and this mob stuff they’ve gotten caught up in. They all find their HEA very unexpectedly though. Roman and Quinn meet when he saves her from a unsavory fellow trying to force her into something she wasn’t wanting...from him anyway. They fall hard and quick for one another, but her husband is the boss and wants them both dead. The ending to these tragic stories are fantastic and leaves no question to whether or not they get their hea. Ryker is yet another story...

We finally get the next story in this series and it’s a hot and steamy one as usual Madison Faye never lets you down! Quinn is trapped in a marriage to a mob boss. Roman is her new bodyguard and the stranger from the night she escaped her prison and hooked up with. When they meet again there one night becomes more but Quinn is tied to Gino the psycho mob boss but with some nice twists they will get their HEA.
Loved it and while each could be read alone would definitely recommend reading all the stories in the series. The HEA also gave some more info on the other couples which was nice. Now looking forward to Ryker’s story.

Rough Stuff!!
For Rough Stuff we finally get Quinn and Roman’s story. When Quinn sneaks away from what feels like her prison cell she goes out looking for something that she needs. What she finds turns out to be someone that will change her future! When officially meets Roman she never expected him to be her new bodyguard or that she would still have this pull to him. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and Roman will do whatever it takes to claim what is his! Loved the connection between these two and that they get their HEA. Can’t wait to see what Madison has in store for us next.

If quick an dirty is what your looking for then look no further!
Rough Stuff is off the charts hot with the added element of danger making it even better. Bodyguard an mob boss' wife, sounds like a recipe for disaster but totally worth it.
I read this over the course of an afternoon, rarely putting it down. It's my second book by the author and judging by this I'm definitely going to read more.
Rough Stuff starts fast and doesn't slow down, while it's a fast read it doesn't lack in plot, flows well and left me wanting more.
