After working hard to keep her family together, Dominique is hit with a devastating blow. She finds out that the happy life she once thought she lived was nothing but a façade when it comes to light that her fiancé, Deondre has been anything but faithful. Not only has he been cheating, but he had been doing so with the people who are closest to her. Overcome with grief from the shocking new information, Dominique lashes out the only way that she knows how, and finds herself in a world of trouble. As she’s carted off to jail, she reflects on her life and decides that she is through playing the fool. The only problem is, Deondre isn’t used to losing, and he doesn’t plan on letting her go that easy. Kaleb is tired of playing the backup boyfriend, and choses to step away and allow Dominique to work on her family life. Now single, he realizes that he was a fool to put his love life in jeopardy over something that he knew deep down would never be. Like all men he wants his old thing back, and tries to repair the relationship that he had with Tiera. When she reveals that he is going to be father, Kaleb vows to right by his child. Things are great between the two of them, until Dominique comes back around. Will Kaleb keep his word and stay away, or will his love for her cause him to lose everything?

About the author

Cachet was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Reading has always been an outlet for her, and because of this, the library that she attended during her younger years would hold all of the new material especially for her. After years of filling notebooks with poetry, she decided to take a stab at writing her very own story. Within a month of sending off her manuscript, she received surprising news. In 2010 Cachet officially joined the literary scene with her debut novel, You Knew Betta; which was published by Triple Crown Publications. Since then she's penned more than a dozen novels and short stories. With every story written, Cachet prides herself on keeping her stories entertaining, as well as realistic.

In 2013 Cachet graduated from the University of Phoenix with her degree in business. At the present time, she resides in Stockbridge, Georgia with her husband and four children. When she's not writing, Cachet enjoys reading, shopping, vacationing and spending time with the ones she loves.

Great Ending

I loved loved this series. I'm so truly glad Dominique got here happy ending! Her and Keleb belong together he was making me mad. But so glad they worked it out. Nikki had been thru Hell. She needed some happiness, Dre was a dog and deserved all he got.Although there were a few errors This story was very well written! Thanks Cachet!!!!

Finally

A blind person could see the love Dominique and Kaleb had for one another. They finally realized that they weren't complete without each other. I'm so glad love won again.

Shanice finally matured, which was long overdue, and as far as Deondre goes, he deserved everything he received, plus some. What a great series, when you take away all the grammatical errors, and missing words! Every author goes through editing issues, but Cachet definitely have a talent, and a way of writing. I'll definitely be reading more of her books.

Cute ending to a dramatic series. Storyline full of twists, turns and deceit! Character development well thought out. I would recommend this five star read to anyone who enjoys drama filled series. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Life

Kaleb, was a nice guy. I'm glad that him and Nikki, finally got it together. I'm proud of Shanice, in changing her life. Poor baby lost 😢 her daughter. But Shanice, has the most supportive parents ever. This was a great read I really enjoyed it. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐hitta

This book is Fire!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!!! I can relate to some of things Dominique went thru with her best friend !!!! I'm glad she had a sister that didn't mind whipping But!!!!! I loved the ending!! Great Read!!!
