DNF.

When a stranger, especially a Motorcycle Club breaks down your door and forced you to tell him some information in the middle of the night, call a cop. Not having sex with him. I read many bad and disbelieve plot. But Rodeo tops it all.
I lost my interest after that. Maybe Miss Rylan has some fantasy about having sex with a stranger. Certainly she can produces much better plot/ story.

Maybe the sex scenes are hot, but sorry...

Great chemistry between Jordan and Rodeo. He was a member of Marked Skulls MC, a friend and club brother Fred was just killed outside of Jordan's apartment. She saw it happen while she was looking out the window so she also saw the killer, a member of a rival MC. Rodeo felt she was in danger and tried to watch her as much as he could. But he didn't do relationships and tried to stay away. Fred had some secrets and Rodeo was determined to find out what they were. Great read!

For the love of all that is unholy! Cheeeze and rice! I've noticed a trend with this author since I DNF'd the first one in this series. This one had me rolling my eyes so many times and so hard, I thought they're roll into another dimension. I can't believe women go for this kind of crap!

Ok so the lead female, Jordan, witnesses a member of the Marked Skulls gunned down right in front of her apartment. The bad guy notices that she saw everything. So when the MS find out there's a witness they send Rodeo to go talk to her. He literally kicks her door down after trying to get her to kindly come to the door. He corners her in her apartment and literally scares 10 years off her life. But, apparently that won't stop insta-lust. Within 10 minutes of scary the shit out of her, she lets him EAT HER OUT! W T F?!!! The fuck is that shit? How can we connect or feel anything for the lead characters when they act so fucking ridiculous?!

So he feels a need to protect her because the other MC will be looking for her. All this horrible shit takes place but they manage to get hot & bothered. I mean, Jordan is like a leaky fucking sink always walking around with a leaky, wet cooch. GIMME A FUCKING BREAK! So come to find out she's the daughter of the member who was killed. She finds out this shocking, life altering information which breaks her emotionally down... understandable. But then she wants to bone Rodeo. And they do... with no protection!!!! I"M SO FUCKING SICK OF AUTHORS WRITING ABOUT UNPROTECTED SEX WITH RANDOS!!!! STOP IT!!! It's not sexy, it's not romantic and it's not fucking rational. So Jordan literally goes from being this shy little thing to full blown porn star, deep throating and begging to be spanked. But is blushing every other minute. WHAT?!

So insert the "falling hard" nonsense with 2 people who have literally known each other for a handful of days. HELLO?????? Ugh. So fucking ridiculous. The entire thing.

Ugh, this was my 3rd time reading this author with hopes that maybe something will change and the books will be good . Let’s just say it’s only gotten worse with each book I’ve read! The stories are ridiculous which I can forgive if it’s a well written ridiculous story but this one was the worst. Awfully written story but what really drove me crazy was the excessive use of exclamation points! There was at least one on every page and sometimes one in every paragraph! I’ve officially given up on reading this author!

Okay, this one was better than the first. Not by much. The book still only lasted over 4 days, but I can get past some insta-love crap.

Lets just take a minute and talk about the fact that in both of these books (this and the first), the H went up against and larger group with gun fire and only got a scratch. 7 people can not be that bad of a shot, especially when you are only 15 feet away and there is nothing in between you.

Same as the first, THIS IS NOT AN MC BOOK, this is boys who ride bikes and hang out in a bar. They don't even have a CLUB HOUSE! And they can't be a good MC, because there are no club whores. How do you have an MC book, without club whores!!

Once again the h was either crying or getting down and dirty.

This one was a tad bit better because they didn't have as many thoroughly annoying issues. The issues with the original club were not taken care of in this book, and then it had a 3 month epilogue about how great everything was, SERIOUSLY YOU DIDN'T CLEAR THINGS UP WITH LILA! For fuck sakes. Now, sadly I'm going to have to read the next one to see if they clear it up, and that just annoys me more. Good thing it only takes 3 hours to read each of these stupid books.

This is a great 2nd story in this series about the Marked Skulls. This story is about Rodeo and Jordan. Fred, the VP of the MC club is gunned down by another MC for unknown reasons. Jordan knows that seeing what happened can not be good and when an angry man comes knocking on her door she does not answer but he takes all his anger and breaks down her door! Rodeo goes silent and finds a way to calm down and to stop scaring this beautiful curvy woman. After getting to know one another these two set out on a journey of fighting off those after Jordan for what she saw. Rodeo is shocked to have such strong protective feelings towards Jordan but can not get her out of his thoughts. Rodeo investigates Fred’s apartment and finds out the cause of what is happening and some more interesting news about Jordan. I loved reading about the characters from the 1st story and how they all intertwine. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

ehh it was ok... started off with a young lady who witnessed a murder of a Marked Skulls member... she see's the person who did it and he saw her watching. The cops try to interview her and she kicks them out, so Rodeo from the marked skulls goes to talk to her and when she won't open the door he kicks it in. another Insta-love....this was more of a story of sex with a little bit of MC story line. every couple of pages they are going at it... I have nothing against the sex in a book but would prefer a story line with sex tossed in - not a book on sex with a little story tossed in. the other MC tries to kidnap her from her work and of course Rodeo fights the 3 and gets her back... and they finally figure out why the member was shot/killed - it was obvious from the beginning.. but it took over half the book to come out...

This is a 2nd book to a series of standalones. The first book drew me in and I wanted more after it ended. The only down side with this book was I felt like I was reading the same sex scenes as the first book. The scenes are absoutely hot but change the wording around. So many similarities between them I started skimming over those scenes.
The plot, however, was good with twists that I didn't see coming. Some things were shocking!

Great read

I love this author and have read most of her books. If this series is new for you, you might want to check out her others... while this book was good she has much better. My only complaint is during a sex scene she might want to extend her vocabulary... I'm no prude so dirty sex scenes don't bother me in the least but she could have used more than one word over and over again... that being said I did like everything else including the plot... can't wait for the next one

Another great book! This story is about Rodeo and Jordan. Jordan is a witness to the murder of Fred the clubs VP. Jordan has never been around and has no knowledge of MC clubs or members, she is a witness just trying to stay alive. Now when she is confronted by Rodeo. Rodeo takes this to a whole new level once Hugh reveals that there was a witness to Fred’s murder. Jordan and Rodeo meet under special circumstances.... And the Club finds out that Fred was hiding secrets and all is found out along with these two finding love.

A fantastic MC Series. This story focuses on member Rodeo and love interest, Jordan who unfortunately witnessed a murder in front of her apartment. Can Rodeo keep her safe and exact revenge? There's a wonderful twist in the story that adds to the fun of gobbling up these stories. There's even a sneak peak at the next book, "Abe" who is another member.
This is a perfect summertime read.

Loved Rodeo!

I like the Marked Skulls series. Rodeo and Jordan’s story was cool. Rodeo was so upset over Fred’s death that he breaks down the door of the witness to his death and finds Jordan there.
Now he has to protect her from the people who killed Fred and the best way to do that is to get as close as possible!
The story has a little surprise in it and of course a lot of steamy heat.
Now I wait impatiently Abe’s story

Another great read

Jordan witnessed the murder of a man she later learned was her father. Rodeo was the wild ride that Jordan needed. When Fred, his best friend and Jordan's father was murdered he stormed into her life vowing to take out the man responsible and keep her safe. What they didn't plan on was their strong attraction to each other.

I loved the story. It was a great followup to "Girth".

Surprise

Early morning & Jordan was having coffee, looking out her window. She saw a man approach & they make eye contact. Then the man starts to run as he hears a motorcycle come his way. Next, Jordan sees him laying dead. She sees a bald man with a beard & he sees her.
Rodeo goes to her apartment for more information. She is afraid to speak to anyone.
A great read! Read to find out what happens between all the couples.

I really liked how this picked up right where Girth left off. Except this time we got Rodeo and Jordan's story. The flow between the two books are flawless, I loved their chemistry, and this one is just as action and steam packed. You get to see interactions with previous characters as well. I can't wait to dive into Abe's story next!
After completing the second book, I would advise to read this series in order and do not skip. Characters and plot line flows from one book to the next.

An early chance to study turns into anything but for Jordan as she is witness to the shooting of a MC of the Marked Skulls. Rodeo furious to what happens kicks open the door only to find the raven-haired beauty. He is in awe and lost for words. This MC romance offers plenty of steam, drama, action, danger and passion. I enjoyed Rodeo and Jordan's romance. The plot is engaging and the chemistry hot. Rodeo picks up the Marked Skulls MC story where Girth, book 1, left off. You can read as a stand-alone, but both books are worth a read. Rodeo wants revenge for his mentor’s death and Jordan was an unwilling witness. Sparks fly between these two and they work together to some surprising conclusions. Great twists.....well done!

This series is filled with action, drama, steamy scenes, alpha males, trouble and suspence. I like the characters. They are well described and develops nicely through the story. It is written in dual POV and that gives the reader much for of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters.
Never a dull moment. It just keeps coming. Unexpected twists and an emotional read.

This is the second book in the Marked Skulls series. Rodeo is on the hunt for a murder and knows just who did it. He finds Jordan and learns the truth; can he keep her safe? Fast-paced read with loads of drama and steam. I was hooked from beginning to end on this MC read. Looking forward to more in the series.

Rodeo is out for revenge. He has barged into Jordans apartment for information and to make her tell him what she saw. What he finds is a small petrified woman that he wants to protect. He vows to protect her and along the way they find out more than they bargained for.

I really want to line this series I'm trying but there are parts that keep bugging me. It's the same as the first book. Too many sex scenes. I don't mind then but it's taking away from the plots. I really love this plot line. This one didn't end pin cliffhanger like book one but I'm still excited for the next book. I'll be jumping right into it.

Pretty good!

I chose this rating because this was a really good book. I enjoyed all the characters. This book was a little better than the last one. We knew what was going on in this book, but the last book he just really didn't. Pretty good read.
