Delicious is the debut novel from Marci Belle and it certainly lives up to its title. It’s a feel good story featuring the lovely food critic, accident prone, Evie aka Isabel and the handsome, alpha male, restaurant owner Calvin. It’s well written, funny, full of will they, won’t they moments and features gorgeous Mexican food. It’s a perfect holiday read and I look forward to reading more from this talented author.

Reading a book from a new author can be a little terrifying because we can't predict if we will enjoy it or not. Will we like the writing? Will the book speak to me? Will the plot be so engaging that I won't be able to stop? All those questions crossed my mind when I open this book. I know that to figure it out I need to read it so here I am. About to embark on a new adventure...
Marci Belle is the author in question and dayum...
Her writing is sweet yet super powerfull, full of feelings and emotions as well as some hot stuff into it...
Delicious is her debut book and let me just say that I want more...so much more.
This book tells the stories of Evie and Calvin.
Being a Food critic isn't an easy thing, not that the food ever hurt someone but the owners from the restaurants can be mean. Evie is used to this stuff but it can be a dangerous thing so the best way is to keep it anonymous.
Now she's feeling the stress piling up so she needs to get away for a well deserved vacations. But can she shut that little voice inside her head?
On her flight to start bet vacations she can't stop thinking about the hunk of a men that was in the same row as she was...
Calvin is used to the good life. He's filthy rich and knows what he wants when he wants and doesn't take no for an answer. When he's schedule to fly he got stuck on coach... He wasn't a happy camper but something about the woman near him... When his restaurant got a bad review he didn't handle it well and know he needs to bring a new chef and help promote it again...
What a premier this was. Who would have thought that this lady hadn't wrote any book till now... Let me just say that you're in for a surprise.
The plot is amazing, super engaging and intense with lots of funny moments as well as a few bumpy ones as well. Not everything is what it seems so we need to pay closer attention into it.
These two share a great chemistry but things aren't easy...
The ups and downs Gabe this book the perfect touch as well as some hot stuff... Of boy..

“Fresh catch of a read”
I received an Advance Reader Copy for DELICIOUS - A Sexy Foodie Romance written by Marci Belle and voluntarily reviewed this book. This is a great first appetizer offering from this new-to-me author of an Enemies-to-Lovers Contemporary Romance. A chance seating arrangement led to Calvin being smashed up against Evie in the coach section of their flight, and sparks fly between them. When she realizes that he is the one restaurateur who now has her on his blacklist due to her critique, she runs as far and fast as she can away from him…But apparently, not far enough. Fate has them running into each other in a very social situation, while she is celebrating her birthday, the reason she was there in the UK to begin with. And celebrates she does, memorably, I might add, until the tabloids somehow catch wind of it and the food hits the fan! Now that Calvin has her in his arms again, though, maybe he is not ready to be done with his delicious “dessert!”
I really enjoyed Evie and Calvin’s characters as well as their supportive friends and family. They find they have many things in common, most importantly a shared passion for great food. Sexy, well paced and well written! Looking forward to reading more from this author!

Delicious is what comes to mind after reading this short sweet and spicy first book by new author Marci Belle. The story flows in a easy and organic way that leaves you pleasantly satisfied yet wanting more.
I really enjoyed reading about Evie the food critic and Calvin the bad boy Chef /turn restaurateur ; their mutual attraction, inner thoughts , relationship development , conflict and resolution was told with a fresh voice in a very entertaining and convincing way .I also liked the supporting cast of characters and even when it's a novella , there was a lot of details and information that made them feel three dimensional and real.
I recommend this story to anyone who wants to read a scrumptious , delightful and sexy story that has heart and soul.

For this debut author, this book is freaking awesome. This enemy to lovers story is delicious. I love that when Calvin and Evie meet that they don't even know that they are enemies. Calvin's life has been in a tailspin since Evie wrote a bad review of his restaurant. But he won't take it laying down, he is going to fight and make things better.
Evie writes reviews for a popular blog on restaurants and she understands what she writes has consequences but she is determined to do her job. But when she is sitting next to one of the hottest men she has ever come across and finds out she almost ruined his restaurant. Well, she now has to decide when she will tell him the truth about herself.

This is a debut novel from this talented author, and she is certainly one to watch out for in the future. Evie is an accident prone food critic, and Calvin is a restaurant owner, who wants to open a Mexican restaurant in London. With no idea what Evie looks like, Calvin is determined to stop her writing a review on his restaurant after the last bad review she wrote. This story is humorous throughout, and is well written and entertaining. I will certainly be recommending this authors’ work for all readers, and look forward to reading more from her.

Delicious is the debut book by New Author Marci Belle, and what a glorious first attempt it is! What happens when a food critic basically closes your restaurant down with her review? What happens when said reviewer sits next to you on a plane, unbknownst to you? What happens when she figures out who you are? Pure comedy! You must give Ms Belle a try as her premier story is funny and sweet and definatly worth the read! I look forward to her next effort!

I can't believe this was a debut for this author!
A perfect hate to lovers...steamy, fun novella that didn't make me think it was rushed at all! (Most novellas leave me feelin that way) but this...this was great! Food critic vs the resteraunt ... this book had parts that made me laughnoutbloud!
If you want a quick read that makes you hingry (pun intended) you can't go wrong with this story!
I will be reading from this author again!

This book totally matches its title. It is a delicious, fun and romantic read. A cute plot is the basis for this novella. A restaurateur/food critic enemies to lovers story. I loved Calvin and Evie. The attraction is intense and the chemistry super steamy. A extremely enjoyable shot, instalove read that will make you laugh out load. This is my voluntary, honest review.

What a debut book! I devoured this is one sitting. Such a fitting title as this delicious story held my attention and my mouth not only watered for the yummy dishes mentioned but also for the hotness that was Calvin! I instantly connected with Evie and these two characters provided an entertaining storyline that had me gripped.

2 of my favorite things, food and sex. OK 3, hot man! Marci Belle starts eases us into the mind of Evie the food critic. How she meets the one man she should have never met, let a lone fall for. Reading this story kept me looking for more about each of these main characters. Great quick read and definitely left me wanting to see what else this author has for me in the future.

Wow!! What a great read. An interesting story with just enough hot scenes and a love story. Just what I needed to read. And all based around food which lets face it we all love. Can't wait to read more from Marci.

What a way to make a debut! Marci brings us an enemies to lovers romance that is, as the book is titled, Delicious. The best part is Calvin and Evie don’t even know they are each other’s enemy when they first meet. So imagine how they feel when they find out who the other is after an amazing connection between them.
This novella has a great storyline and it has some very funny moments. Calvin and Evie are fun and easy to connect to and the supporting characters are amazing as well. I could actually see a story or two developing from Evie’s sidekicks.
I highly recommend this novella and really look forward to future work from Marci. I can easily see her being a go to author as her writing and characters are very entertaining. I don’t believe you will be disappointed.
