Rate this book

She was Claimed to be his Queen…

Eleanor never thought that her life would be anything more than the poverty she grew up in. But fate has other ideas. On her twentieth birthday Eleanor reported to the Claiming Ceremony. All women are required to enter, she never knew that she would be claimed.

Now she is more than just a mate to an alien warrior, she is a mate to the alien warrior. Danion Belator of Old, King of the alien race that saved humans from extinction is now her mate. She fears she has traded one master for another, until Danion transforms her.

She never knew she had strength within her, but Danion knows she does and will not rest until he awakens it. He brings out the fire hidden within. Where once she was meek, she is assertive. Where was she was afraid, she is brave. Where once she was alone, she now is mated.

He has found his Queen…

Danion waited for eternity to claim his mate, and when she was finally within his grasp his enemies attempted to kill her. He swore bloody revenge against them.

But their assassination attempt uncovers hidden secrets about his young mate. Things that defy all reason, and that could very well mean the death of the galaxy.

With war upon them, Danion and Eleanor must fight for not just their lives, but all life in the galaxy. Danion needs Eleanor’s help to win this war, but his mate is unaware of her own strength. No worries, he will help her discover the Queen hidden inside her.

E.M. Jaye is a romance and adventure author with four published books at this time. The True Immortal's Series is based on ideas E.M. had in her early pre-teen years. Characters and personalities were formed in her head while she would make up stories to herself late at night.

Her childhood home is full of notebooks with short stories filled with the characters who later evolved into the heroes and heroines of her books. She grew up loving books and the escapes they provide and hopes that her books will help you escape for a while as well.

She dreamed of writing a book for over a decade, but being risk-averse by nature, never pursued it heavily. Then fate intervened, and the only logical next step was to finally give in and let the words escape onto the page. She took the Indie route and is still learning and growing as an author.

While writing (which is always), E.M. can be hard to find but never fear, she always surfaces eventually and responds to any questions or comments sent her way.

Thank you for supporting this Indie author and as always, Happy Reading!

Good

I had picked up the first book a while back on sale cause it looked interesting. Sat down today and devoured the first book then bought the rest of the series and finished them all today. I enjoyed it and I hope she continues the world so we see their stories continue.

After reading the first book in this series and commenting on that one, I purchased this second in the story. I am enjoying it enough that I also got the third book and I am reading it now.

The world building that was necessary to really make this an outstanding novel is unparalleled. I am fully admiring how intricate it has been created and how it just comes together to make it all very real. I will leave another review when I finish the third episode and look forward, I am sure, to any that come after in this series.

I am liking the characters better now.

The Queen has returned to Earth to find her father and his ship, which may contain information needed to defeat their enemies.

While I usually hate books that are cliffhangers, this series is so well crafted and interesting that I bought the second and third books right away. You get to read about a new species of humanoid, war, adventure, man's misuse of his fellow man, love, charity, honor, and most importantly, family.

Lovely

A great continuation of the previous book. Storylines are expanded and new ones emerge. We start to get some idea of all the pieces in play.

I am excited to read the last of the series.

Ugh!

The typical woman holding sex over a man's head to control him. I expected better in a scfi romance.
I don't care enough about the main character enough to read the next installment.
